We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Delta. The staff were excellent and really welcoming. They were able to accommodate my wife's gluten intolerance with cereal and bread supplied every day for breakfast for her. There were plenty of options at breakfast which helped to provide a good start to the day. The hotel was really quiet in the evening so that meant we were able to get a good rest after skiing. The room was superb with everything we needed. It was very clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is excellent for both the gondola and the town. As others have said the ski bus stop is nearly straight outside the hotel. This was really helpful on the days that we were carrying our skis. We hired our skis from the on site ski shop. we had great service from the staff in there as well. If you wanted to you could store your skis at the ski shop each night. We used the lockers at the Le Rosay gondola so that we could enjoy the walk each morning/afternoon from the hotel. It's only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the gondola. We didn't use the Spa whilst we were there but we will do when we return in 2025. Yes, the holiday was that nice that we are planning to go back to LGB again. It's a 10 minute walk into the village centre as well where you will find enough shops and restaurants for your stay. Well worth booking a table for an evening meal though as the restaurants can get busy at night. You pass the bus station on the way to the village, 5 minutes walk. This is very useful for visiting other parts of the region. We went to Chinaillon, 20 minutes away, which was a nice change and enjoyed looking around the village. Whilst we were there it was their carnival night with a torchlight descent, parade, music and entertainment. We had a great night. Overall, we really enjoyed our holiday which was helped greatly by having a great base for the week at the Le Delta. Thank you to everyone for helping to make our stay so enjoyable. See you again in 2025!

Really lovely stay. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The spa with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is really great too after skiing. The ski bus is very convenient as the stops are just outside the hotel and it's a great location for a short 10 minute walk into town. However it got very busy as it was New Year, so eating out was really tricky in the evenings if you haven't pre-booked. The ski shop was also really convenient too. Great family hotel, clean, good breakfast, welcoming and would stay there again ! Thank you.

Lovely hotel a 10 minute walk from the gondola, breakfast included in the price was great, Rooms clean modern and comfortable and the spa was very welcome after a days skiing (you have to book a time slot to use the spa at the reception but we just did this before we left for the slopes in the morning 😊

We stayed at the hotel over the Christmas holidays. The rooms are decent but the staff and management of the hotel really ruined our stay. Out of all the options you have in Grand Bornand, I would definitely recommend going for another one. There is no service, everything you ask seems to be an issue and you have to apologise for it. I got told of for standing in the wrong area around the counter. I was also told that I was "lucky enough to have found a room to stay over such a busy period".

In our chalet have document from this hotel/spa and a preferred price 15 € for 2 hour spa . We call the staff morning for afternoon coming , one staff told us ok at 2.30 or 3 pm because no guest from hotel . Not later . Ok . But 17 € . So already cheating a bit . At 2.30 we came there . It was a woman at the front desk , she said owner , not smily , not polite and agressive a bit . When I talk about morning phone call , cut my voice and no no no , nothing on reservation book . Not our fault if morning staff did not write anything . And she said 18 € and waiting half an hour to put on electricity to warm spa . Again cheating . Don t care about their advertising in Chalet book . . Finally we cannot stay and push us out . Quite incredible . I don t recommend this place for people from outside Not professional and not polite . May be hotel good and better , I hope . I have the picture of voucher below

Response from MagaliD720, Propriétaire at Hotel Le Delta
Responded Jan 17, 2020

We spent the last weekend at "Le Delta" and it was a very nice experience. Starting off with the check-in, the reciptionist was very warm and welcoming. The hotel and the spa are both very well maintained and clean. The room was very very comfortable and we had a nice view of the village in front. The spa was supposed to close at 19h00, but they let us (our kids were having an awesome time at the jacuzzi) stay till we finished and left on our own. Simply put, we were discussing when we would come back as we drove away. Ohh and they served us a very nice breakfast as well.

We, 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child, stayed at Le Delta Hotel and Spa for 7 nights over New Year. Pluses: - Nice, comfy rooms with decent beds, lots of radiators and wet room shower - Excellent ski hire shop in the building - Very good breakfast - which is well worth getting inclusive - Very nice service - Located right next to a bus stop for the lifts, 5 minutes away. Town is a 9 minute walk away. - Nice, if small, spa, with outdoor Negatives: - None that we noticed

We stayed here for a week. The hotel is conveniently close to the crèche and a short walk to the ski lifts and restaurants. The ski bus also stops right outside the hotel, which is a bonus. It’s a lovely looking hotel, however the reception staff are not exactly warm and inviting. The website shows a bar/restaurant, but they only serve breakfast. Our room was spacious which is rare for France and great considering we had to include a port-a-cot for the baby. We were not impressed with the fact that we booked a queen bed and got two single beds pushed together. The toilet paper is like a public toilet dispenser with single square sheets and seldomly topped up. We also had to ask a few times for them to top up the toiletries in the bathroom. It was an ok stay, but probably wouldn’t stay there again by choice.

We have just finished a 5 night stay at Hotel le Delta and would highly recommend it. The location is perfect with regular bus's that stop right outside and a ski hire shop on the ground floor where you can store your ski's over night with no hassle. The staff are very friendly and speak English which we were very happy with as our French is minimal. The breakfast was great (continental) with lots of options and plenty of it with staff on hand keeping the place spotless. The Spa with outdoor jacuzzi is just perfect after a day on the slopes surrounded by snow and over looks the picturesque village. We really can't fault anything and would definitely come back.

Spent a week at Hotel Le Delta on a skiing trip to Le Grand Bornand. Very accessible from Geneva although we did experience traffic issues in Geneva. However a call to the hotel resolved the issue of our late arrival. The room was excellent and located on the first floor with accommodation over two floors and with an external balcony. Hired the skiis at the shop located within the hotel and prices were comparable with other outlets. The skiis and boots are kept within the shop overnight. Ski bus stops on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. Ample car parking either behind hotel or on opposite side of road. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was continental type, simple with plenty of food. Hotel offers accommodation on a half board basis with meals taken at a particular restaurant. We didn’t take this option but did eat at their nominated restaurant on one occasion. The food was ok but of all the restaurants used over the week this was probably our least favourite. The hotel offers free use of the external hot tub, sauna and steam room which was excellent. Also free wi-fi throughout hotel and it worked reasonably well. In terms of location easy access when coming into the village and within easy walking distance of the village centre. I would certainly recommend this hotel if staying in Le Grand Bornand and would be quite happy to use it on subsequent visits to the area
