We stayed for just a few hours. Cheapest place but really old building. Feels like the owners are just waiting for the building to fall apart. The building is kept clean but they really need to look at even the basic renovations.

In general, when i stay 1 night, i usually don't leave a review as it is not enough to judge a place, but this one deserve a note: poor - The receptionist is not as friendly as a jailhouse door - beds are old as F - linens and bedsheets are falling apart... - as the rest of the room It should have been a beautiful place in the 70's, but i'm born too late!

We stayed here with each of us having one big room with three beds. We stayed at their newer buidling though it still old. Their airconditioned room could accommodate around five person. One in each bed then two in the sofa, but even with that we stayed each of us in one room. So just imagined a room so big that only you stayed. Their room is pretty basic with towels, toilet, and hot and cold shower. We paid only less than $20 per night per room. As I entered the room, I felt something strange so I inspected everything from drawers to closets and found a bible laying in the table. This just make everything worse, so every night I sleep with the TV and lights on with closed window and closed shower door. Also, at the middle of the night, you could hear furniture moving upstairs. Like seriously in the middle of the night? And also the fact that we think that we're the only one staying in that building since most of the guest were at the other older building.

recommended by a family friend from laoag. from the reviews i was hesitant but since will be sleeping over only and we stayed for only 12 hours, we still booked thru our friend. our 2 family rooms were located at 3rd floor but even at 10pm the staff still helped us with our luggages. at first, the place looks gloomy and sad but when we entered our rooms, i noticed the orderliness and neatness. ac are cold, they have hot/cold shower, they provided thermos and towels too. we have to ask for bath soap. we were very tired from the long trip from manila but i could say everyone of us had a very comfortable sleep. the compli breakfast is average but still thankful for it. for the overnight stay of 2 family rooms that accommodated 10 adults and 2 kids, we paid less than P7,000.

Me and my friends visited Ilocos last month. Since we only have limited time to visit several placea. We didnt have much time to look for other places to stay. We ended staying here at Texicano. So for a group of 5, we got a family room for atleast 2100php+. It includes breakfast meal for two. With two additional beds since the room only has 3 aingle beds. So the place was cheap, so if you're looking for a place to just sleep, then this should suffice. They have a resto too, however we didnt find their food menu appetizing so we ended up eating in another resto. Place as well was near to convenient stores, market place, and other restaurants so you have other options. Now place looks old - family room includes a fridge that's working although its old. just enough to store sealed beverages - not food because there's rust inside. They also have utensils for use-but make aure to wash it again before using since there are soap residues. Over all, place is only good for sleeping and showering especially for group for a cheaper price. not recommended for staycation or long stay.

We ended up in this hotel after failing to have a reservation to the other hotel I Laoag. The room we had was spacious and had a very early 90's movie set up while the corridors reminded me of a beach resort. The only weird experience we had here was the late night scratching we heard one night. We later reported this to the lobby and said that it might be the noise coming from the room next to us. What we remember is that we were another room away from the next guest.

Location: Great location, you have a good access to everything on the city. Ambience: The hotel itself is kinda creepy. Also you will hear the noise not only from the outside of room but also on the outside of the hotel (tricycle, chit chat of the staff outside) Room space: They have a very spacious room and spacious comfort room. Although the floor gets flooded and water takes time to drain after taking a bath, same as the sink for toothbrushing. B&b: They have b&b free but for guests roomed at their annex building only. Overall: Average!

This place is a strategic place. It is near the center of Laoag and all the tricycle drivers know the hotel. Not to mention it is close to the airport if you are planning to take a plane to go there. The hotel itself is great. Everyone were smiling especially the restoraunt staff. There are pros. and cons. The pros. make up of how cheap it was, the spacious room you were staying in and as I mentioned before, it was near the center of the city. The food from the restoraunt was great too. It was affordable and tasted good and fresh. As for the cons, well, to be fair you really didn't pay for a 5 star hotel to expect for it. Me and my family had great fun in Laoag and this hotel made it better.

The rooms are huge. Almost like a classroom. It's very old even in the new building the room dont get cold that much. You get what you pay for. The receptionist are not that friendly though the guard on shift is great. You can request for a hot water during the morning for your coffee.

It did accommodate 20 exhausted people as walk ins... I was not expecting too much. The only wrinkle that needed to be straightened out is the training and attitude of the guy in the restaurant. A certain Tony Amayun, who does not have any respect for customers and senior citizens visiting their facility. The way he talked and belittled my 82 yr old mother while I went to the desk to straighten out some deal about their included breakfast in the accommodation. My mother was humiliated as this ignorant guy screamed at her and commanded her to sit down in a corner because she does not have a meal stub. Mr. Amayun knew that I was getting the stubs needed and yet he deliberately talked down on his customers... With or without those meal stubs, a customer can order food and be presented with a bill. There was no need for hostilities. Even when the meal stubs were presented to him, he still had trouble accepting that he needed to entertain our food orders. It was like he was a General trying to guard his precious cargo. It was a real disappointing moment, and had destroyed the mood for the day for the whole group. The portions of the food served did not coincide with the price tag. The next meal I had was at Fort Ilocandia with the same price of whole chicken except that at Texicano, their chicken was as big as a pigeon. We came across this place from the recommendation of a tour guide Cris Cruz from Bantay Bell tower. I would not recommend eating at their restaurant... The rooms were good enough for a short stay and only when options are low and you are too exhausted to find other accommodations.
