So we initially booked at Aurelio’s Mansion because it was big enough to accommodate our group of 10 and it was within our budget. Weeks before our arrival, we were being diverted to their sister accommodation Casa Felipa that was just few meters away, which promised the same comforts. When we checked in, the staff were accommodating, helping us with our stuff and providing all our requests. There were only limited rooms so I felt like it’s as if we were the only ones who were there. There’s a private pool and wifi is available only at the lobby. Room was okay, basic and small. Bathroom was really small. Overall nothing special, it’s just a very basic accommodation which is what you’re really paying for. Breakfast was okay and really enjoyed the location because it was in a private, hidden place close to nature. Downside is, sometimes we get lost when we navigate home especially when it’s late and dark. But overall, it’s a good accommodation if you’re on a budget.

As a tour organizer, I do everything in advance. Pool is nice, Room is just ok. Everything is average. They will accept your food other when your soooooo hungry and make you wait 100 years because they are not prepared. And humiliates everybody.

Don't stay at Aurelio's. Their location on Google maps has been misleading pointing it near the capitol but in reality their location is far from center. Also, Ms. Susan is so unprofessional and rude. She doesn't know how to be calm and and would shout at you over the phone. Bad attitude.

We had booked promo fares months earlier and totally missed room reservations until barely a month to travel dates. Since it was Holy Week, expectedly, most hotels of original choice were already fully booked and we found this property after a frantic search for alternative options outside the hotel category via Trip Advisor. We were so pleased with this choice. It was blessed relief to find the property van waiting after our apprehensions arising from a very delayed flight. The hotel went out of the way to direct us to a fine restaurant where we enjoyed a sumptuous dinner of local cuisine. It is quite far from the city center and without assistance it was very likely we would all have gone to bed all very hungry. The rooms and bath though perhaps relatively small, were very clean & beds quite comfortable. Breakfast was just right with ample servings (with 3in1 coffee & juice). The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The property owner is very cordial & hands on. He personally assisted us in our tour itinerary. With his expert advice, we were able to cover so much in just a day. True to his promise, we didn't just get pictures of the windmills, we literally got close enough to hug the amazing structures. He personally made the reservation for the most awesome sand dune experience for our children and their cousins (a couple of young professionals and a teenager). It was extremely hot and his tip regarding umbrella rentals literally saved our skin at Kapurpurawan. It helped that we had a service van & driver. I don't know how it would have worked out otherwise since the place is away from the center. In retrospect am quite sure the property would have assisted us in the same friendly and efficient fashion. The property has a pool though we didn't get a chance to use it. Free wifi at lobby area. Overall great value!

A 9 days stay with family in late November to early December. We were the only occupants for majority of the time, as visitors mostly arrived during weekends and stayed for just one to two nights. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Wifi could be improved, as does not receive connection in the rooms. No stores in hotel so be sure to bring snacks, food, drinks to your room. Breakfast is free and delicious but limited. Rooms are clean and nice. I would stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel as part of the package tour. We were booked at the third floor and it was very inconvenient for my grandmother to use the stairs all the time. There was no available lift. As for the breakfast, they served them till 8AM but choices are average and could be improved on.

My family just walked in to the hotel as it was highly recommended in the net. Most hotels in Laoag were fully booked as it was peak season but the hotel staff were very accommodating. We were 5 and the family room cost P3,800 with free breakfast and free use of the pool. Staff were very accomodating and friendly, supply of shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush is ample. The only downside is there are no restaurants in the hotel or near the hotel, we had to order to the hotel staff who in turn contacts the fastfood. By the way only jollibee and greenwich are available but when we placed our order for jollibee, the staff after an hour told us that jollibee is not answering its phone and might as well order for greenwich products. Also the location is not in the business district thus we had a problem when we have tickets booked at Farinas bus at 5:30 in the morning. We were informed that there are no tricycle at those hours and that we can avail of its service transport for P75.00 each, even for a shot distance. No choice but to avail of the Service vehicle, I was just wondering why the rate is per head when there is no increase in gasoline if there are more passengers, they should just have a flat rate like other hotels.

My friends dragged me into a packaged tour to Ilocos which includes a stay here at Aurelio's. I wasn't really expecting much for the price but I would say it was pretty good and the service was excellent. The only downside is the location as I don't think it's near the main drag (we had a vehicle for the tour so it wasn't a problem for us).
