The Mystic is a unique retreat for the traveler in search of new experiences in an old world. We welcome you to enjoy the warm desert sun and brilliant starry nights of Santa Fe, a place like no other, offering an escape from the outside.
Let me start off by saying WOW! This motel is VERY clean. I am very particular about staying in a "motel" but I have to say this place is cleaner than most 4 star hotels I've stayed in. Very impressive! Reasonably priced as well. Room has a mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs, flat screen TV, coffee maker, ice bucket, ceiling fan, AC wall unit and wall heater... did I mention how CLEAN it is 😁!!! There is NO SMOKING in or in front of the rooms - there is designated smoking areas with tables and chairs across from the room (outdoors of course). They are not offering breakfast at this time because of the covid, but not a big deal for my husband and I. The front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming! So happy my husband found this place! We will be coming back!!!

Ok, so maybe it’s not a 4 star hotel but it’s charm makes up for that. Even though it was built in 1958 the owners have done an excellent job of refurbishing it. Excellent decor! SUPER SUPER CLEAN!! I’ll stay again.

If you like to drive up, park & go in this motel is great. I did not see anyone due to virus hoopla but very nice folks on the phone. I did the no contact option & key was left in lock box. Room was very clean & I liked the decor. Outdoor areas were tidy & lots of nice flowers.

This is a second time for my wife and I. We had my Aunt and Uncle with us and they were equally impressed. The Silver Saddle is a nostalgic creation of the owner/operator (Dawn). She made us feel as welcome as the first time. She sells all kinds of trinkets that my wife and aunt really enjoyed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor and overall atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable: I highly recommend a stay here if you want to enjoy an old fashioned motel that is still comfortable and enjoyable.

My sister recommended this motel to us since we were traveling through Santa Fe and since she and her husband stay here regularly. It was super clean! Very reasonably priced and the perfect location for a day of site seeing. We are sold on it. It’s the only place we’ll stay in Santa Fe.

Ok, you want a pool, luxurious breakfast, lots to do on site? Or you want a great little place to stay so you can go wandering around Santa Fe and enjoy all that the city has to offer while keeping some money in your pocket, having a clean room with some comfortable beds, homey touches, and a staff that is happy to have you around? If it is the latter, then stay here. When I come to the opera in the summer this is the spot for friendly welcoming spot. It's easy to get to, the rates are good, the rooms clean. The place is quiet, pet friendly, and you should definitely stay. Breakfast is a little spotty, but goodness gracious--this is Santa Fe. Finding a good breakfast here should not present a problem.

As we have experienced in past stays at this motel: Spotlessly clean room, friendly and helpful staff, and a nice continental breakfast. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Santa Fe area.

Since we did not need to be within walking distance of the plaza, we decided to give the Silver Saddle a try because of the ratings and the price. When we arrived, we were instantly charmed by the check-in area that felt more like walking in to a long-lost relative's living room than a motel. Once in our room, the beds were comfy, the room and bathroom super clean and little touches of old western photos and tokens made the room fun. It really struck me that this place proves that old doesn't have to mean dingy. The shower and bathroom were cleaner than many places I've seen that are decades newer. The next morning we got breakfast in the check in area and discovered that they also have a few thrift items for sale, which was a more personable souvenir than I expected to find.

Stayed here for a night. Nice rooms. Old touch. Not fancy. The kids loved the office and the breakfast area. Good for families and couples. 2 minutes drive from Meow Wolf. Walking distance from great restaurants. I would stay there again.
