Arrived Friday evening and had to wait 15 minutes to check in because there was only one person working. With the exception of the gentleman, all of my interactions with front desk were hostile and unwelcoming. It’s of my strong opinion the ladies working the front desk went out of their way to create obstacles for reasons unbeknownst to me. I’m Canadian where our debit cards don’t have our names on them. From having my card rejected to my room being “forgotten” by housekeeping - these are unnecessary obstacles caused by the rude girls working the front desk. The other thing is the guest laundry is wayyyyy too complicated. What ever happened to simple coin laundry? This was a very frustrating and disappointing stay. Will not stay here again.

Myself and two other couples traveled together recently. We booked this Fairfield LAST YEAR. We had three rooms. Then Beyoncé came to town that night. They gave away my friends room that she booked last year to someone else! I can only assume because they could sell it at a much higher rate. They wanted to send her to a hotel 25 miles away from us. That was a hard no. The ‘management’ couldn’t have cared less. They gave them zero compensation. They ended up sleeping on the floor! The staff wouldn’t even give us extra towels. The whole place reeked of marajuana and again, the staff couldn’t have cared less. I guess that’s acceptable now. Just avoid this place, it shouldn’t even carry the Marriott name because they certainly don’t have any standards.

Good location very close to the Space Needle. Room was clean, shower had great water pressure. The beds are very firm & uncomfortable. Breakfast & coffee were decent. The room was small & has the sink in it not in the bathroom. We stayed 1 night before heading out on a cruise. Ok for 1 night.

I had reservation for 7/6 - 7/12. The guest services gentleman on duty, literally said 10 words to me. We got to our room and realized that the vanity is outside the bathroom. Hair in the sink, tub and behind bathroom door. Yuck! The bathroom had no ventilation either. Double Yuck! I had an invoice from the hotel in my email that night charging me for 1 night 7/5 - 7/6. I went to the desk and spoke with a young lady who said I was being charged for a “no show” night and didn’t want to even talk to me about it and said to call the corporate office. I called the office the next day, and explained everything to Annette who apologized for the mix-up as she could see my original reservation. During the course of the week, I received additional bills via email as the kept braking down my stay every couple of days. I am home now and the charges were reversed. My original reservation was for $2,368.81 yet I was charged $2,380.83. Will be calling the hotel. Although we had maid service every other day, our trash was never emptied and was overflowing by week’s end. The tub filled with water when showering so you are standing in 4 inches of water by the end of the shower. The walls seem very thin and there were several nights that you heard running and conversations in the halls good part of the night. I like a firm mattress so I thought the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and the line moved fairly quickly. I think the layout of the area could be done differently for better flow. Trash can near the door would be helpful. There were two near the buffet and when it was busy, guests had to fight the lines to throw the trash out.

This hotel is nice and clean and close proximity to all poits of attractions, all withing walking distance. Staff was friendly, Jennifer C. went out of her way to help us make travel arrangement on departure date to get transportation from the hotel to the cruise port. Will stay here again if we are in downtown Seattle

Had seen a lot of the reviews and even though though the price was right, I was still a bit worried about this property. BUT, it was totally fine, the room was large (double queen) and the breakfast was ok albeit a ton of people! I had gone up to Seattle to seee my daughter as she attends one of the universities there. She wanted to crash with me (to get a decent night sleep from the dorm so I got a double bedded queen. Easy check in at 11:45pm at night, might have gotten a slight upgrade to an end room (had emailed them before for a quiet room for the daughter) and when we walked in it was quite spacious. Beds comfy, good free wifi (except we couldn't stream the free Showtime on the TV) and nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Also had a fridge and coffee maker. Only thing I didn't like was the sink was outside the bathroom so it made a racket for the other person if it was early or late. Breakfast was super crowded on both Sat and Sun but had decent egg frittatas, bagels, fruit, coffee, home made waffles, yogurt etc. I suggest fo when they first open at 7am to avoid the crowds. The gym was decent and everything worked and looked in good condition. Area around the hotel was fine, felt safe but then again we were taking ubers home at night. Walking distance to the park for the Saturday street market and a 10-12 minute walk to super fun Belltown restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and my daughter enjoyed the bed and quiet! Oh, I just remembered, elevators super slow and only 2 for such a large property; we were on the 2nd floor so we walked up and down the stairs as it was quicker. And housekeeping every other day. Thank you!!!

The hotel is new and is in a great location - walking distance to Amazon, Space Needle, etc. Also, if you're lucky enough (we weren't), your room can have a view of the Space Needle. However, there were a few things we didn't like. 1. They didn't allow me late check-out even for just an hour. I just needed an hour so I can pump breastmilk comfortably for our infant before our flight. The airport can get hectic so I was hoping to pump before we get to the airport. 2. Their guest bathrooms do NOT have changing stations - men or women's restrooms. Since they didn't allow us for a late check-out, we waited in the lobby. But when we needed to change our baby's diaper, I had to change her on the restroom floor!

We parked a Chevy Equinox rental car in the on-site garage beneath the hotel. We stopped by the front desk around 9:30AM in the morning to drop off postcards to be mailed before heading to the airport. The front desk associate asked us our room number and then asked if we had a car parked in the garage. We told her that we did have a car in the garage and asked her why she was asking us this question since the car information was placed on our reservation. She then proceeded to inform us that they had a series of break-ins and that she “thinks” our car was broken into. I went down into the garage to check, and I saw that our car’s front passenger window was smashed, and the center console was open. Thankfully, nothing was stolen. I walked around the garage and there were 6 other cars with the same damage. There were 4 other cars parked in the front parking lot with the same damage. There was a pre-printed slip placed on the dashboard of the car from the hotel stating that we need to call the Seattle Police and complete a police report online with a link provided. I went back up to the front desk and spoke to the General Manager, Sheryl Cedana, and asked her if she had security at the hotel and she said that she did. We then asked at what time this all happened, and we were told either 5:30AM or 6:30AM. We asked if there are security cameras, and we were told that they are only in the front of the garage but there are no cameras in the garage. We then asked Sheryl why we were not informed at the time of the break-in as we were not even going to stop at the front desk to check out. She said she tried calling the room, but we were in the hotel gym at the time. There was no voicemail left on our room phone, they did not call my sister’s cell phone, which was provided to them at check-in, they did not slip a note under the door, knock on our door to tell us in person, nor did they email us to inform us that our car had been broken into. Sheryl knew about the break-in for at least 4 hours, and we were not informed once. We asked if they called the police and they said that they did call the police, but the Seattle police refused to come out to investigate. The police told the hotel to direct guests to fill out a police report online. I feel like this situation was handled incredibly poorly. I understand that these things happen, but it feels like Sheryl and the hotel staff wanted to avoid this situation at all costs and get us out of the hotel as soon as possible. They knew we were checking out that morning and again, we were never informed that our car was damaged on the hotel premises. Had we had known; we could have planned our day accordingly and not rushed to the airport after dealing with Hertz. There were no anticipation of guests’ needs, and no help was provided. There was no offer of compensation or transportation to the airport. And it really felt like this is not the first time this hotel has seen car break-ins like this. And if this has happened at this property before, why are there no security cameras in and around the garage? Or at least, why is there no sign that says this garage is under surveillance to attempt to deter criminals? The only sign in the garage says that the hotel is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles, which might as well be an invitation for criminals. Why is the General Manager or the front desk associates not empowered to provide compensation in situations like this? I feel like Sheryl just didn’t care. I emailed Justin So, the Vice President of Operations for BMI Hospitality Management, with this review without a response. BMI Hospitality Management is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

Gets the basics right: comfortable mattress, easy to operate climate control, quiet, good breakfast buffet included, walking distance to downtown restaurants and tourist attractions, self parking, helpful cordial staff, big TV. Some complaints: no bathroom fan (just venting via common stack to roof), scrambled eggs in buffet very very salty, only 2 really small dresser drawers, no night light, tub/shower should have additional grab bar.

Very convenient location for Seattle City Center and Lake Union and friendly front desk staff. Complementary Breakfast was good - eggs, waffles, yogurt, banana,ms, fruits and jams and good coffee. Got free waters and snacks upon checkin. That summarises the pluses. Our room with two queen beds was weird. The bathroom was tiny and the sink was in the main room part. So you are brushing your teeth and doing your whole routine in the room. The cleaning was sub par - the was a long black hair in the bath that wasn’t ours. The room is supposed to be cleaned every other day. We stayed for a few days and expected our room to be cleaned per they policy. Didn’t happen. On checkout day, housekeeping showed up at 9am to let us know it’s our last day. That’s a pet peeve. Check out is in a few hours, I know it’s the last day, don’t bother me.
