This place was our online discovery while searching for a nice cabin near Artist Point and we are glad that we booked the cabin. The manager Tom, was very friendly, helpful and always available on site, in case of any problem. He gave us a nice cosy cabin. We have been camping for a long time and wanted to experience cabin stay once. It was an excellent one, I will say! There is something that one must understand that these are log cabins in forest areas. One must set the appropriate expectations. They are intended to provide an experience of staying close to nature and understand that habitat. Not to expect 5-star hotel accommodations in a forest! Cabin stay helps you appreciate the little things in life and get attuned with nature and family. There is no tv, no wifi, so perfect in every sense. The cabin had board games stocked or you can carry yours. Having said that, we had a fun 3 days stay at the Logs. The door has a bear lock so it got a little tricky at first, but then we practiced with Tom and understood the technique. Owner of our cabin had installed newer equipments. Kitchen was fully stocked. It had a B&D coffee maker, toaster, cooking range, refrigerator (big one), microwave. Coal grill in the patio. Lots and lots of firewood as the cabin is heated from fireplace. Bathroom had 2-ply toilet papers, towels all sizes, two mini bar soaps. It is very close to Glacier and Maple Falls. One day we had lunch at Chair 9, Glaciers. Really nice place on the way to Artist Point. Many hiking trails around. The Canyon Creek trail is very nice facing Mt. Baker. You can go down and dip your feet in the cold waters of Canyon Creek. All in all, a nice rustic place to stay in Mt. Baker area. It was 45 minutes from the Logs to Artist Point and about 20 minutes from Silver Lake Park.

The cabin was perfect for a perfect week. Tom kept us well supplied with the perfect sizes of logs to keep us toasty during this early autumn season. The place was super clean and well-appointed. This was so close to the great trails at Mt Baker, the parks service station in Glacier as well as to Bellingham. Wonderful time !

If you and your family are looking for an intimate lodging experience in the Mt Baker area the Logs cannot be beat. It is situated in a great community with great nearby trails for after dinner hikes, and an incredible view of Mt Baker while on those hikes. Tom, the owner, has lived here forever and can direct you to "locals only" places.

We love going here! One of the least expensive places to stay at if you're going to ski or snowboard Mt. Baker. Not very far Maple Falls or Glacier. Cabins are heated from a wood burning fireplace, lots of wood is provided. No tv, no Wifi. Perfect! You don't need these things. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need!

Stayed at the Logs three years ago with my two kids, my sister and her two kids. It was very cosy - and just like the pictures on their website. The cabin was everything we expected. Note - the fridge and stove are TINY - but it's not like you are going to cook a turkey. Recommended.
