This hotel DOES NOT ALLOW PETS, Even though TripAdvisor/booking agent says they do. Additionally, building is unmaintained, and in disrepair. They are hotel rooms with a fridge/microwave. We had 2 rooms. There were neither coffee nor cups. There were numerous maintenance issues with the room, several of which were safety hazards. There were no towels, and the room smelled bad. Building exterior is falling down. If I could give a negative number review, I would. 10/14/2023

I'm not sure why there has been piling on in recent reviews, but our experience was positive. Our room was clean and quiet, with easy access to the interstate. The price was reasonable and the experience was perfectly fine.

Awful hotel. Dirty room, missing lots of promised amenities. No towels in the room, no ironing board, no coffee, no trash can in the kitchen area. When I asked at the front desk, they gave me a few towels but said the hotel was out of coffee pods. Lots of hair left on a pillow cover, stains on upholstery, food residue on the desk and phone—gross.

The air conditioner didn't work. We had to switch rooms. The room hadn't been cleaned. There were no towels. We had to ask for them. The pool is awful. There is no noise mitigation and NO ventilation for the chlorine. We couldnt even use the pool for our family reunion.

There was a tile missing from the floor right in front of the elevator door. The food was cold and very greasy. The outside grounds were trashy & badly needed weeding and maintenance. The lights in the room did not work properly. I cannot recommend it and I will not stay there again.

The website advertised family friendly and rollaway beds available. I called twice to confirm my reservation, both times asking for a rollaway. Both times I was told it would be added and available upon check in. When we checked in, the clerk had no idea what we were talking about. The card reader wasn't working, so asked for a $50 cash deposit; which we luckily had. There were no towels in the room. We had to ask at the desk - and the ones we were given were stained. The toilet was not anchored and threatened to dump you off every time we sat on it. The shower curtain was stained. The bathroom counter and TV remote had a white, sticky residue on it. We stayed 5 days and 4 nights a s only got fresh towels once. The bed linens were never changed. The floor tiles throughout the hotel were either loose or missing. The floor of the pool was cracked and chipped. The bathroom wasn't working, so we had to take our 4 yr old up to the room every time she had to use the potty and back down to the pool. Overall, not the most pleasant stay.

Pictures on website look way better then in real person. If you want a cheap stay then it’s ok but not for a family. Pool was disgusting. Tubs had a lot of rust, shower head was falling. Breakfast was average.

Awful. Run! They want 200 characters to describe the experience, they don’t deserve any more bandwidth from my brain to come up with anything else to say about the cockroaches and smells of the building. Do not bother unless you’re desperate for a room.

There were roaches, broken tiles, rust missing towels, and toiletries, food, and dog food scattered everywhere throughout this room. No running water in the kitchen. Everything was disgusting. Drug users most frequent this hotels because otherwise I don’t see why anyone would stay here hotel staff was hiding the whole time

I had the worst stay I have ever had at the Country Inn and Suites on I-27 in Lubbock, Tx. The staff promised a call from the manager when I checked out but of course, that never happened. I contacted the main office and haven't heard back from them either. I don't normally do this but this stay was so bad that I regret not staying with the first hotel reservation that I made even if it was more expensive. Check-in was fine. But I noticed there was no shampoo in the bathroom so I called down to ask for some and was told that they were out. I could accept that. The entryway light didn't work but I could accept that. But then I called down later for an extra blanket and was rudely told - we have none. I get into bed and there was a dirty spot on the sheet. It was bad enough that I wasn't sure if they hadn't been changed or if it was a stain. I have a picture that I can provide. Then the next morning I was supposed to go to the pool and then shower before going to the college reunion we were having and noticed there were no towels. I called down for towels and was rudely told they were drying by a different staff member. Fine. I went to eat with friends and two and a half hours later went back and housekeeping hadn't been there so no towels. I went down and they handed them to me. Housekeeping never did enter the room. I guess the lack of a "do not disturb" sign wasn't an issue then. That night I went swimming and the wall is falling apart in the pool room and there are children and teens making such a racket that I'm amazed people in the neighboring apartment complex didn't file a noise complaint. The entire weekend the kids were tracking water all over the hotel tile floor that no one kept up with. I took a shower to clean off and there's a red stain on the towels! The next morning housekeeping showed up at 11:00 a.m. to kick me out! I said it's POSTED EVERYWHERE that check-out is at noon including in the room itself! They gave me attitude and told me to talk to the front desk. I was told that Noon was the latest I could check out. As I was packing up to leave, I noticed what appeared to be gum with hair hanging from the cracked table. Ewww. I checked out and they had me leave a list of my complaints with my phone number so that the manager could call me. Furious doesn't begin to describe how I felt when I left that hotel. It was not worth the money I spent to stay there.
