The Druid Inn is a quaint bar/restaurant with overnight accommodations. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious. I had grilled salmon for dinner. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Everything is fresh. The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate.

My husband myself and our friends Mary and Henry stopped off at the Druid Inn for drinks and a meal on way home from day out in Llandudno. The food was lovely and there was a varied selection for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Sarah, who took orders for food and served drinks was very friendly and welcoming. There was a real fire burning giving the pub a homely feel and apart from pub there was a restaurant. You could also book a room if you wished to stay over. A thoroughly nice place for all ages.

One of the worst places that I've ever stayed inn. The advertised WiFi just did not work in your rooms. The place is out of date and needs redecorating and I found the manageress very rude and ignorant.

We stayed here as a part of our Offa's Dyke walk. The room was spatious and clean and the facilities were good. We had no problem with noise coming from the pub itself. They do provide a pick-up/drop off-service for dyke walkers for an extra 5 pounds, which is welcome, since it's a couple of miles of the path. You can get a good meal as well.

Our party of 4 arrived at about 6 pm . We entered the bar area and whilst waiting for the landlady to serve us with drinks, I started reading the menu board. Very abruptly the landlady tapped the Curry Night menu on the bar and said sharply "Only curries tonight" . We thought ok we might as well have a curry even though most of the people inside and outside were not have curry and had chosen off the menu board. She then asked my husband what we wanted to drink but before he could answer she started serving someone who obviously was a regular customer and completely ignored our order. Well that was the final straw, we left giving no reason. We have been many times on a Sunday and never had a curry. We will now have to think long and hard before we go again on a Sunday or

Reading trip advisor we thought to stay in this inn and try the food with not much else around until the next village. Unfortunately we hit the inn with the chef off sick so there was a reduced menu. We took a chance and tried it. Being on a bike tour and it being 630pm and tired and cold from 8 hours on the bike. My friend ordered steak medium rare but it arrived well done. He asked for boiled potatoes and it arrived with chips. My husband ordered stuffed mushrooms which turned out to be small mushrooms in a cheesy sauce (tapas style). Not very good... I ordered home made lasagna which was beef stew with some pasta sheets. I am very sorry but it did not hit the spot at all. On top of that the pub was very cold. On to puddings... My favourite sticky toffee pudding.... One to

Me and my sister stayed here on 23/07/2015 for one night while visiting Colomendy. Very clean, warm and cosy accommodation, food was excellent, atmosphere in the evening was brilliant and the owners couldn't have been any more accommodating if they tried. Food a little pricey compared to Doncaster but was worth every penny. The views were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this inn and would stay here again when visiting this area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here while doing the Offa's Dyke walk, the owners kindly picked us up from Clwyd Gate and returned us there the following morning, as this place is several miles from the path itself. The owners quickly took our boots away to be dried out, always thankful for that, they would have happily taken any wet clothes that needed drying away as well. Our room was small but clean and tidy, the ensuite had a great shower with plenty of hot water. We asked about a bath, and was delighted to be shown a separate bathroom just a few feet down the corridor which we had access to. The evening meal was very good (both had steaks) which we had in a separate dining room away from the busy bar area. The friendliness of the owners made our stay enjoyable. After a hearty breakfast our boots

We stayed when doing the Offas Dyke Walk. Rooms were ok. Good food: fish pie, lemon sole, plaice. Relatively expensive for food. Good atmosphere in the bar. They picked us up and took us back to the walk. Wifi was very good. Wide range of choices for packed lunches, like stilton and grape.

Day 2 on Offa's Dyke, we arranged with the owners to pick us up from Clwyd Gate, very helpful, we arrived and found everything to be great, very cosy, good rooms, clean and comfortable, maybe in need of a little modernisation, but not essential, evening meal and packed lunches were very good. Would defo return and recommend - very friendly and accommodating - very nice couple.
