Wow! Travis (and Jeremy) made our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Hershey absolutely perfect! The front desk service is at the level of a 5-star hotel! We booked the very last minute after needing a room for a tennis tournament. Such a convenient location for a quick trip to Chocolate World. We hope to visit the hotel again!

Very friendly staff and the location is great! Rooms and hallways are a little out dated, but the lobby is very nice and the pool is big. We enjoyed the location as it was away from the crowds, but a short 5 min drive to downtown Hershey. Breakfast was ok… would recommend going out to the Hershey Pantry or elsewhere for the price.

We picked this hotel by their website and thought we made a good choice. We were very disappointed. The king size room was nothing special. The bed mattress was terrible and bedding nothing special. The worse part was when we went to breakfast and found out it wasn't free, and expensive. We had searched many hotels and missed that there was no free continental breakfast. Needless to say, we had to go to McDonald's the next two mornings. We had to leave the microwave door open, otherwise it runs without stopping. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel!

The staff were friendly and accommodating - we showed up a bit early for check-in and our rooms were ready. They were very clean and there was more than enough space for my teen daughter and me in the room. We asked the front desk staff member for suggestions for lunch and he pointed us to a great diner that was less than a mile from the hotel. We stayed there during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day to visit Hershey Park and area attractions and to he hotel was busy but our rooms on the second floor were quiet. The only negative we found during our stay is that the indoor pool is a bit small and gets crowded- my teen daughter and her friend were excited to swim but didn’t stay long because of so many little kids screaming and splashing in the pool. Overall we enjoyed the hotel - it’s in a quiet area and is so close to Hershey’s attractions - and would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. The hotel is clean and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Faith was so sweet when she checked me in and sent a message to make sure I was happy with the room. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel also has a great location in Hershey/Hummelstown. Highly recommend!

DISGUSTING AND RUDE! We are Hilton Diamond and this stay was nasty! I would have expected this at a Motel 6. At breakfast on (9/23/23) I ordered a REAL 2 egg omelet. My omelet looked just like my husbands when a real egg omelet looks very different. I let the person know it wasn’t real eggs (because you can tell) and when she came back after talking to the cook she said he REFUSED to remake the omelet. Really? I’m paying for a product and I expect that product to be what I am paying for, not what you think you can get away with. Last, the room… the bathroom had mold everywhere! I took a wet washcloth and wiped it down and the mold came off. Why isn’t housekeeping wiping down the showers? It’s truly disgusting. The toilet kept running as well. The room was really stinky and the walls were paper thin. At 3:03 am we were woken up by room 240. I called the front desk numerous times and no one answered. Called again in the morning and it took 4 calls to get the front desk to pick up. WHATS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE??? Find somewhere else to stay or don’t stay unless it’s super cheap like a motel 6 because that’s what this location is worth.

Where to begin? The location is perfect. That’s where the positive stops. I was treated apathetically by most of the staff including one of the managers Tana. She did not look up from her computer until we were literally standing at the desk for a good minute. I know that good help is hard to find but someone like that should not be in management. She was very monotone, and had nothing to say when I started to complain about my room. When I asked for the manager on duty, she very rudely said “I AM the manager on duty.” Oh ok. And by the way, you can hear when people talk about you when you leave the checkin area and are right down the hall. Maybe you should wait a few minutes. She spoke very rudely of me and my children and literally laughed. As other reviews have mentioned, this hotel has a serious bug problem. Ants are living their best life here eating all of the stuff that is not vacuumed up by the housekeepers. The carpet needs to be ripped out. The staff needs to be trained on basic human kindness starting with management. Telling a customer that you will let someone else know about the problem without actually addressing the problem is not addressing the problem! We were not given any compensation Give your employees uniforms or at least name tags so you know who actually works in the building. I saw housekeepers bringing towels into the guest laundry room, is that even legal? I thought they had to be washed at a certain temperature. I have no idea how this hotel is a Hilton brand, but I hope they get inspected without any warning. Trash is all over the grounds. I’ll choose another hotel next time I’m here!!

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness and attention to detail in this hotel. We had no hand soap at all in our room. Flickering lights in the bathroom, stains on the carpet, no bedding for the pull out sofa, and long brown hair all over the shower walls. Then wake up the next morning to housekeeping knocking on our door at 9am to clean. Which clearly they weren’t very thorough with given the condition our room was in when we checked in. We expect a lot more from the Hilton brand.

We checked in 6 of us and the amount didn’t match what we booked at the only refunded what they advertised still way too high. Got to the room it was infested with ants. We did change rooms. When we went to breakfast we were rudely told we didn’t have breakfast included. We’ll I’m sorry for 226 dollars a night for one room, you would think it would be included. Or even added for all the trouble we had. Last time we stayed here was much better. Not sure why it’s different this time. Not impressed at all.

The staff was beyond nice and helpful. I checked in late and it was no issue at all to them. It seemed like a nice family hotel. Super clean which is something I need in order to stay at a hotel. Not far from great restaurants and of course, Hershey park!
