The hotel is located in a great area near restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly and made check in/out go smoothly. The room I was in had a huge TV and the wifi was strong enough for me to watch tv using a Roku stick I brought with me I would book again.

Check-in was very quick and the young lady at the desk was very friendly. We had to ask her for assistance 3 times and she always answered with a smile. Our room was very comfortable. We only stayed one night but slept well, safe and sound. The bathroom was great. It had a walk-in shower and looked recently renovated. The shower had a glass enclosure. A balance bar was on the wall which helps us older individuals. The glass enclosure had a bar on the glass to hang your wash rag. This seems minor but when you are lathered nothing so frustrating to have your wash cloth FPL in the floor. Also, the shower was in a separate room with the toilet and the sink was outside. This helps on two ways - your roommate can use the sink while you are showering without steamed mirror (not steaming the mirror is the second plus. The heating and A/c could be adjusted comfortably. We set it warmer when we arrived so we could shower and prepare for bed more comfortably. We lowered temperature for a comfortable night’s sleep. Again, this would seem to be an expected convenience but many occasions HVAC does not work correctly at hotels. We had a king bed with two pillows each and clean bedding. Somebody in another post complained about room bedding being dirty and with hair in two separate rooms. Our room was spotless and sanitary. Plenty of outlets in the room. Two on my side and my wife had at least one on her side. Some at the desk as well. Several places to eat in the immediate area from fast food to sit down dining. In fact, two Asian restaurants - one on each side. Plus multiple fast food restaurants. We were tired and I went and got fast food while wife showered. Overall, wonderful stay. I marked the restaurant at only 4 stars because the common area was dated and we didn’t stay for breakfast so couldn’t evaluate. I would recommend staying.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had at any hotel. I’m not sure where to even begin. The room we booked wasn’t available at the hotel. The customer service was terrible. The elevator was out of order & we weren’t told this until we checked in that evening. No accommodations were available. We needed additional bedding & instead of someone offering to bring it up, we were told to come down 4 floors to get it. The keys constantly stopped working. At one point they gave a kid a key that unlocked every room in the hotel (their words). It was confirmed after the child helped a friend gain access to their room when his key didn’t work. Someone kept propping the back door open with a rock which anyone could have walked into the building at any time. Our room door didn’t deadbolt. It wasn’t functional. I’m sure there’s more. I’ve stayed at Best Western’s better than this place.

Floors were very dirty, common areas dirty and smelly. I left early because it was so dirty. Elevator was broken during entire trip and we were on the 4th floor, very annoying. Wouldn’t choose this hotel

I was surprised that this is operating as a LaQunita. I've stayed at lots of LaQuintas and never had such a bad experience. The one overworked lady on the front desk was very nice, but the hotel overall was shabby, smelly, and clearly in need of a lot of deferred maintenance. But the really horrible thing was that our door was broken. First, you had to kick / shoulder the door into the frame to get it to close. Wait, there's more -- the deadbolt stuck in the open position, meaning we couldn't close the door at all. Finally after banging around on the door for five minutes the front desk lady was able to force the deadbolt to close, but what if it had stuck like that when we locked it? We would have been trapped in the room. The one woman on duty tried calling management several but never got through.

1 night stay at this hotel. Came down to the area for the Billy Joel concert at Ohio Stadium. There were a lot of events going on this weekend (state fair, Irishfest, concert), so we knew prices would be elevated. Booked through the Wyndham rewards app at a set price. Checked in and was charged $120 more at check-in. We were on a schedule, so I had to deal with the overcharge at check out. The front desk was no help in rectifying the overcharge. I was told I had to deal with a manager who was not there. Called customer service and was given the run around. After an hour on the phone, I was finally able to file a complaint. We've stayed at La Quintas all across the country and have never had these problems. We'll see if I ever get my money back. Be careful booking online, then get a different price at check-in.

whenever i got to the hotel, the room that we checked into was dirty, the sheets and comforter were covered in hair and dirt. My fiance and i left to go to dinner and requested the bed be changed while we were gone. When we came back the bed never got changed so we were moved to a new room. The bed was the exact same way with dirt and hair so we went downstairs and requested a refund( which we were told couldn't be handled for a few more days) and to check out. The lady at the front desk seemed unbothered that the rooms were dirty and looked at me like I was lying when told her the 2nd room was the same way. Didn't offer an apology and acted annoyed that she had to close her book to help us out. will not be returning here and will tell others not to waste their money.

Hallway and elevator filthy. Refrigerator broken and never repaired despite asking three times to fix or replace it. The room itself was surprisingly good. Breakfast was okay as well. They offered a good variety of foods.

Choose another hotel in this area. There were long hairs on the bed and underneath the blanket. We found bed bugs between the mattress and box spring, with a couple dead bugs on sheets. The interior is very dated and worn.

This hotel has got to be the most disgusting one I've stayed at. One of the pillows I checked in my bed had a blood stain on the pillow cover, and the pillow itself. There were also crumbs in the bed that was already made up. Absolutely nothing had been cleaned in the room but the floors, and barely at that. I will never, in my life, stay here again. It was a waste of money, and disgusting horrifying experience.
