Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is often praised for its spacious and comfortable atmosphere, with travelers enjoying the well-maintained amenities. However, guests have mentioned that the pool area may become overcrowded and the extra charge for bottled water is seen as a downside. The rooms are generally appreciated for their size, yet some guests find the decor outdated and have raised concerns about cleanliness and noise. Value perceptions are mixed; the hotel's dining options and resort fees are considered pricey, and there have been reports of unauthorized charges. Service experiences vary, with commendations for helpful staff contrasting reports of rudeness and poor responsiveness. While the overall cleanliness of the hotel is lauded, the infrequency of window cleaning and room servicing has not gone unnoticed.

I just spent Wednesday night at the hotel. Only two people were working the check-in desk, so lines were very long. I was here three weeks ago, same thing. Worst part: when you reach the counter, people roam over to ask random questions, further delaying the process. No one knows how to use the key card to use the elevator. So you hold the key, it flashes green and before you can hit your floor, five other people put theirs in, leaving me stranded. Only two restaurants were open, and they were beyond packed. The Sisters Cafe was only serving a very, very limited menu. It took well over 2 hours for me to get a pepsi, burger and fries. THEY NEED MORE STAFF. I saw exactly two cocktail servers in the entire casino, over five hours, both looking harried and stressed. So disappointing. How will this place ever handle the masses expected to come into NF for the coming eclipse?? We cancelled our rooms, and will stay home. This city will not be prepared.

Went to Seneca in late February for a couple of hours. Loads of games to choose from! Free parking… not much dining options at the time we were there. Very clean and Hostess walking around to take orders was very much visible and quick and friendly! I left with more $ than I arrived with so that was a nice bonus!! Please have more entertainment ie: bring Shaun Cassidy back!

Our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. There is a smoking and non-smoking casino. Old and new slot machines throughout. Bring a bottle of water or soda into the casino with you because you will never get a drink. It has been this way there for ages. I wish they would install soda machines like some of their competitors. The one thing that surprised us though, was that there weren’t any dining options open after 10pm. There was only a coffee shop with donuts that had been sitting out all day. We ended up going to the gift shop and getting pasta salad. I asked for forks (very nicely) and got yelled at. Eventually I did get forks for the pasta salad. It was excellent. To me though, if you have a casino hotel open, a real dining option should be open until at least midnight. On our day of checkout, I called the front desk to see if we could get late checkout. I was rudely told they don’t do that there and got hung up on. I don’t think they realize or care they have competition that players can stay and spend their money at. Overall, I would stay here again because the rooms are very nice, and I do like the casino, but their people need a class in customer service, and they need at least one real dining option open late at night.

Room Tip: Bring a bottle of water or soda into the casino because a drink server rarely comes around.

We stayed 1 night, a Sunday. Reviewing room 2606. There is a penthouse above, but this is the highest room floor. Not a direct falls view, but the mist and river are visible. It’s a great view. Our room was tidy and would look cleaned at a glance. However, there is no way our room was cleaned properly. I know every where is short staffed. And employees are cutting corners due to work loads. In this room, we found pennies I’m guessing placed by the previous guest. And not hidden. For example on the desk chair. There was the clear plastic tag things from new clothes on a counter, no way someone could wipe the surface without moving them. There was M&M size metal roses on the floor. And I didn’t look for these items, they were obvious. I pulled out the chair to sit, pennies. I sat to write at the desk, clothes tags. The little roses were at the foot of the bed. Very disappointing. We ate at the steakhouse. It was delicious. The slots were tight. The casino was busy. We saw 1 guy win $1200. He said he had been playing for 4 hours and that was his first win. We didn’t see anyone else with a hand pay. Others players were talking about how the casino has changed and not many wins. I guess it’s not UNICEF.

Clean spacious room, good restaurants, even if you don’t gamble. Nice pool area too. Spa was closed day I visited. A lot of new slots and older games also. My view from the 25th floor was so pretty- Niagara Falls view at night with lights is spectacular!

Only be described as a 'communist host' mentality. She attempt to stifle the freedom of players to engage in conversation at the gaming tables. Specifically the directive not to mention if someone lost over $100,000. attempting to control what patrons can and cannot discuss is a step too far.

PSA! Please be vigilant and secure your money/possessions. I went to the casino after an event early Sunday morning 1/28/24. I went to the casinos ATM and took out money. I walked the floor until I found a slot machine to play. I was at the slot machine for 8 minutes before I walked to Turtle Island. By the time I sat down to play a slot there my money was no longer in my pocket. The security at this casino is abysmal and ineffective. To my belief I was (allegedly) targeted, and a victim of a pickpocket. Security can verify every aspect of my movement around their casino and can verify that I never dropped the money anywhere, but will proceed to state that this doesn’t mean my money was stolen. This is gaslighting at its finest. I volunteered for a full body search to prove that the money that I had in my possession, that is now no longer in my possession equates to a crime. Money doesn’t just disappear into thin air. Per security personnel Austin, Frank, and Cameron they are able to review my every movement within the casino, I never left to use the restroom, never left the premises period. The window or opportunity for this alleged crime was less than 10 minutes, this would logically appear to be a targeted robbery (allegedly). Please be safe!

The Seneca rooms are fine and the bed and chairs are comfortable. But there many others like me who cannot return because of the tubs and showers. We have mobility problems. We can walk but with difficulty using a cane or sometimes a walker.. We cannot shower safely at Seneca because the showers have no grab bars. We cannot bath because the tubs are too deep and we cannot get in our out of one Other hotels have resolved that problem so we would go there. These problems are easily resolvable but Seneca hasn't done it

Beware of adult swimming rules…. Signs posted in several areas of the pool “ no children allowed in the hot tubs”. This was not our experience, kids jumping from hot tub to pool to hot tub all evening! On top of this , the pool attendant did nothing except look at his phone the entire time. Very disappointed!
