I have stayed here a couple of times when my preferred hotel in the area was sold out and I had no other choice. The place is dirty and the walls are paper thin so you can hear people talking in rooms across the corridor. Upon check in I was told that they only "refreshed" the rooms every three days, which is ridiculous. Most likely ownership is too cheap to pay for enough staff to clean or doesn't pay a reasonable wage. I only saw one housekeeping person in the entire hotel while I was there. In any event my room smelled and had many stains on the furniture, so it certainly reflects a lack of care. The last time I stayed they had two wedding parties, and they were running around in the corridor at 3am. Staff was completely unhelpful. For the money, you would be much better off at the Courtyard. The Hampton Inn in Concord is worse than this place, so avoid that one as well.

Hello, I am sorry to hear you were disappointed in your stay with us last year. We do follow Marriott's housekeeping model of every other day service and encourage our guests at check in to let us know if they will require more attention during their stay so that we can meet the needs of our guests. We do have a great housekeeping team that are always happy to serve our guests!

Front Desk (Michelle) was unpleasant and non-hospitable pre-arrival during phone calls as well as during check-in and to our group while at the hotel. Houseman (Devante) openly voiced loud enough for us to hear that he “Fu***** hates Kids”. Breakfast attendant almost burned kids while attempting to change out chaffing dishes by lifting them over a kids arm and head. Michelle also encouraged us to invite homeless individuals to the property by leaving leftover food at the dumpsters instead of donating it to a local shelter. Both property and staff are old, beat up, and dismal. Highly do not recommend this property to any groups or in general. Reported all of this to Marriott on 3/4/24 and after 6 days, still never heard from the property.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that you had negative interactions with our team. I have had the pleasure of managing many people over the years and Michele is truly one of the best when it comes to customer service. I have checked in with her regarding the incidents of the weekend and am confident the experience of your group is an isolated incident. We do not encourage guests to leave items outside for the unhoused community in Concord, I can only surmise that this was a misunderstanding. During our daily meetings, my team and I often discuss treating our guests and coworkers with respect and kindness as we do not know what other people have going on, even if they describe you personally as old, beat up and dismal, they still deserve our best face forward. So in that regard, I hope your next hotel stay is a great one!

Thank you for sharing this with us so that we may address with our team. It can certainly be overwhelming at times for our staff when parents disregard our pleas to monitor their children but that is most definitely no excuse for such language from our staff. I have shared your feedback with the associates, and as a teachable moment, we have discussed our service standards and reviewed improvement opportunities in the service they provide. I am confident that these necessary steps will ensure your experience is an isolated incident.

As soon as we walked into the lobby of the Fairfield there was a distinct musty odor that was not appealing. It also had the same odor in the hall way to our room. The young lady that checked us in Kat was not the most welcoming. When asked about an Uber to the event we were going to that evening she was very short and unpleasant. Another encounter with Kat was when I was purchasing water for my friend and I and received another unprofessional comment from her. Maybe it’s time for her to find a new profession if she is that unhappy in her job. I can’t say that I would stay there again anytime soon. The hotel is located right next to the highway so you can here it the entire stay in your room. I usually always make a point to stay at a Marriott owned property and the first time that I have been truly disappointed.

We had a great stay here even though it was cut one night short by having to head back home to a sick child. We were greeted by Michelle at the front desk upon arrival. She was very kind and friendly. Our check-in process was quick and smooth, which was nice after driving over 8+ hours. She also was working the next evening and got us some extra towels and toilet paper that we needed. We proceeded to chat with her a little about some questions regarding Marriott points and we talked about our ski trip that day. She was knowledgeable and easy to talk to, which meant a lot to us. The lobby was clean and decorated nicely for Christmas. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and TV was fine. The shower was as hot as I like it (which is scalding in my husband's opinion). Parking was never an issue. We were right by the entrance every time and could see our car from our window. Breakfast was good, too. The standard make your own waffles...scrambled eggs, little omlettes, sausage, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal with toppings, bagels, croissants, and biscuits to name almost everything I can remember. Upon having to check out early, Christine was at the front desk and was so kind and understanding about the need for our early departure. It was so comforting to know we would not have any penalties against us because we were already saddened and stressed before 7am. Bottom line, we would stay here again if we were ever in the area. Thanks, Michelle and Christine!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. The room seemed newly renovated, as everything was in excellent condition and very clean. The mattress was very comfortable, the heating / air conditioning system worked perfectly, and the room was tastefully decorated. The included buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choices, and even the coffee was unusually good for a hotel. We have stayed here before, and would most definitely stay again.

Hotel has a great atmosphere. No meeting rooms if you are looking to use one for a group. Continental breakfast has the essentials but nothing special. Great service by the front desk. Workout room has the essentials and decent space for a couple people to be in there. Would be crowded with 3 or more trying to workout.

I've been here many times in the past, and to be fair I would have given 4 stars in the past. Normal fairfield that usually meets expectations. This past experience I felt like I should warn people about. First, the hot tub is closed. Renovations, but I didn't see any work being done. Just drained. Second, my newest pet peeve for similar hotels is that they rent out their pool to local clubs and swim teachers, which makes it unusable during the hours I've wanted to use it. Finally, the breakfast window if limited and if you get in late and need to sleep in past 9, it makes it impossible to eat. Other than that, it's a normal fairfield with slightly dated rooms.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our pool area. Yes, our hot tub unfortunately has a tremendous leak causing it to be closed and our repairs have not started yet. In the meantime it cannot be open due to the massive volume of water it is losing daily. We do proudly participate in swim lessons for children in our local community. We do try to have this at a time that the pool sees very little use, first thing in the morning on weekdays so that their is minimal impact on our guests but I am sorry that this interfered with the time you wanted to use it. While it is still open to guests during this time, I can empathize that you didn't want to use it at the same time.

This hotel is forever OFF our list of potential locations when we are frequently in the Manchester NH area. We were assigned a room on the front side of the hotel which faced, and was about 30 yards from I93 where the semis raced by all night. The desk clerk was snippy and claimed to not have anything that had not checked in on the back side away from the road because the hotel was sold out. She offered and called another branch that was more expensive with the same road proximity issue. My husband is a Titanium Elite member on Bonvoy and that carried no weight to get us a reasonably quiet room we could actually sleep in. You would think that if a hotel is so close to a busy road, they would install double glazed windows…but there was absolutely no sound-dampening quality in either the windows or blackout drapes so, even with earplugs, we could not rest. Like many other hotels in the area on weekends, this hotel was full of kids sports teams (hockey) in town for a tournament which means in addition to the road noise, there is corridor noise with kids racing around into the night.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding our hotel. I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the location of our hotel. We are grateful to welcome a large amount of elite members daily and always do our best to get all of our elite members on the non-highway facing side of the hotel. We are limited however but the number of rooms we have and unfortunately cannot always get everyone on the back side of the hotel that may request it. I am thankful to read that our guest agent was empathetic to the situation and made efforts to find you a more suitable hotel to meet your needs.
