The price maybe cheap but the rooms are absolutely gross. Me and my family (my mother, aunt, and cousin) stayed here for 1 night was supposed to be 2 for the trapshooting nationals that I would be competing in the next morning that night I went to bed fully dressed (i.e. shoes, socks, pants, shirt ,hoodie.) above the covers We tried booking other places but they were already booked or asking ridiculous amounts. Where do I start to explain what was wrong with the room 1) the windows were not clean at all!! They had dead bugs, smear marks, and obvious yellowing from smoking.(we got a non smoking room) 2) the room smelled terrible. 3) the blankets had burn marks on them, the sheets were not made at all, there was hair in the bed. 4) a hole was in the ceiling where it looked like someone decided to peak it. 5) microwave was not cleaned at all neither was the fridge. 6) the stands were sticky and I don’t wanna know why they were sticky. 7)the desk chair had some kind of substance on it again I don’t wanna know what it was. 8) mirror was not clean at all. 9) bathroom was way to small if you were to stand in front of the toilet you wouldn’t be able to open the door. 10) you could hear the neighbors using there bathrooms!!! There was hair and burn marks in the bathroom such as on the toilet set and in the shower. 11) at night it gets crazy people come out and you don’t wanna leave your hotel room... That night we heard police sirens on the backside of our hotel room 12) the free breakfast was awful don’t trust it!! We didn’t eat it but did look at it when we got our refund for the second night we wouldn’t be using. 13) a very large portion of the other people staying there seemed to actually live there so it might explain how they are still in business and able to have the rooms like that. PLEASE!!!! spend a little more money or go a little farther then here it is not a nice place for you or your family to stay at!!

The pictures on the website looked better then the room itself. Jacuzzi was okay wasn't impressed with missing knobs. Carpet needs to be stretched or replaced. Just wasn't impressed. Noticed a few other hotels in the area, will look into if I ever need a room in the Lansing area.

This motel is just terrible. The rooms are not very clean and in the poor condition. Our bathroom door was decaying and wouldn't shut. The walls were decaying and falling apart. There were spider webs on the walls. The beds are so hard and uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was a joke, toast and some tiny stale doughnuts. The worst part was that the next morning I woke up with both my arms and neck covered in itchy red bites from bed bugs. Do not stay here!

I needed a cheap place to stay while my brother recuperates from surgery. I chose ABVI Lansing on Ramada Dr due to it's location. The $52 turned out to be $55 (+ taxes). The room reeked of cigarette smoke (clerk said some of their rooms "use to be smoking rooms." The shower / tub had a gray-brown scum on it, and there was dried feces on the toilet seat. I complained to front desk who called the head of housekeeping - who talked the clerk into cleaning it. She had to go and get a stronger cleaner to get it clean!! I touched the bedpost and it fell off. The old box-style TV reception was terrible. There was a refrigerator and tiny microwave. However, I had to put the microwave on top of the desk as there was no plug in for it on the refrig. Then the plug wouldn't stay in the socket (too old). There was sloppy paint jobs throughout and much of the wood was scuffed bare. If there was a breakfast (wasn't told or had info on such), I wouldn't have eaten it! There was "free" WiFi, but it wouldn't stay connected. I stayed there as I was too exhausted to look elsewhere . . . but NEVER AGAIN!

Great price BUT The room was nice but smelled of cigarette smoke. When I called the front desk all I was told is that "all rooms are nonsmoking". There is a sticker on the mirror saying this - BUT when housekeeping made up this room they could have at least put in an air freshener. The cigarette smoke was heavy! Front desk wasn't willing to change our room. Breakfast was tiny tiny donuts, toast and about 6 ounce cups of coffee. At least serve regular size donuts, and large size coffee cups should also be available or stop saying - FREE "breakfast" Free WIFI didn't work. The password given out at the desk didn't work and when I called the front desk they said that was the password. I used my I-phone instead.

the room I had was one the ground floor and facing a large empty open lot that had access to a main street there were no wall, or fences . I felt unsafe. The room was marginal and was never cleaned while I was there for 3 days. They had a tv, microwave and fridge, but only 2 electrical outlets, so I had to choose which item I didn't need and unplug and replug. They had week to week renters that congregated outside . I am a mature woman and I was traveling alone. I would not recommend this place to any traveler.Their idea on a free breakfast where stale plain donuts and coffe with powder creamer,

Hard beds, dirty creaky floors, stained sink with no water pressure, old TV with non-working remote. The whole place is old and run down. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else. You get what you pay for is a lesson well learned here. The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but this entire complex needs to be bulldozed. The nicest thing we saw were three white-tail deer late at night, and they were moving away from the motel too!

Stayed here overnight, on the way from Ottawa, Canada to Chicago. It was adequate to say the least, and cheap so what do you expect? Breakfast was a joke so don't bother with that! Signed up no to smoke in the rooms or else get charged USD$250.00 fine. So the two guys in the room next door just wander in and out of their room smoking their heads off.... I bet those "good olde boys" didn't get fined! We don't smoke at all. Didn't really feel that safe here so only took out bags out of the car once we were not going out anymore, and firmly locked the door! Restaurants are close by, but you need a car.

Only stay if you bring your crack pipe. We checked in and had to pass those outside smoking crack pipes. That is before finding our room only to have pit bulls charge from the room next door. Yes, I got a refund and went else where. Don't ever stay here, worst experience I have ever had!!!!!
