We needed lodging on short notice, and the lodge worked just fine. Not fancy, but clean and renovated. Had a good breakfast in the morning in the restaurant. Nice omelet, quick service, plenty of good coffee..

The room was cozy and adequate for an overnight stop. We would stay again. Staff was friendly and very helpful 😊 Shower was hot and relaxing. Location was right off the Highway and easy to find. Coffee was hot!

Checked in by young lady with her jeans all ripped to pieces, but they were too small anyway so what the heck. One portion of property did not look rentable. Parking lot looked like an obstacle course. Room was fair, TV was nothing to brag about. Roach made a run at me in the bathroom but after I kicked at him, he saw the error of his ways and retreated. We paid $15 less down south two days later for a much nicer place.

The staff was wonderful as far as courteous but we paid too much for what was DELIVERED. I called 2 weeks b4 to make sure they had wifi and when they promised me we would have wifi in the room I made a reservation for a week. I called 3 days b4 arrival to make sure everything was in order. My family and I checked in, went to the room, unpacked and tried to connect to wifi. Could not so I went to the office to ask about it was told I had to go to wifi.com to sign in. Okay, tried that did not work. The manager informed me the next day when she came back in that they changed providers several weeks ago and my building was having problems. They have been waiting a week for the rep to call back to make an appointment to fix the problem. Therefore, they knew of the wifi problem when I made the reservations and asked them about having wifi. They knew when I checked on reservation and when I checked in yet the did not feel the need to inform me any of it, the 3 times b4 I went to the room to inform me we would not have wifi the whole week we were there. And did not even offer to discount the room because all that was promised was not delivered. The pool is too small to enjoy. You might as well call it a cold water outdoor jacuzzi because it is not much larger. The restaurant was okay but over priced. Like I said I will never stay there again and tell anyone that asked to make the extra 20-30 minute drive and book a room in Jonesboro or any other city. If they tell their customers they have a service they should have to deliver or at least try to make resolutions to make up for the promise unkempt instead of looking at you like that is my problem deal with it.

The Winnfield Lodge is a great family-owned hotel near the heart of town. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Beds are so comfy, there's always plenty of hot water, and the air-conditioning works great! All the staff members are friendly and caring, and go out of their way to accommodate the guests. It is a pet-friendly hotel, and still very clean! The on-site restaurant is called Embers, and offers breakfast, lunch & dinner. The food is delicious, home-style cooking! You can charge meals to your room. People are always picking up take-out orders also (hotel guests and local town residents)! We are happy to call Winnfield Lodge our home away from home! Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back! Sonic is across the street, E Z Mart convenience store & gas station right next door. Grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and hospital 1 block away.

Paint job is over prior dirt. Spray painting of ceiling left paint on walls and pictures that was not cleaned up. Restaurant had good food, especially the famous Nachitoches meat pies and a nice assortment of delicious desserts. Room is straight from last century. Air conditioning was comfortable, nice to have microwave and refrigerator. Friendly staff. Budget hotel overpriced.

The room was filthy. Dirt & crud along wall & base boards. Had bad smell, water was yellow, lint on ceiling fell into bed...maybe from a/c. Kept being bitten by something in the bed...bedbugs? I would not recommend this motel nor will my family stay here again.

This hotel is 1 of 2 hotels in the town of Winnfield,LA. I have been very familiar with this little town since I do have family that lives here. This hotel use to be known has the Best Western of Winnfield but has been bought out and completely redone. My memories of this hotel made me very weary to make a reservation but since we were attending a wedding there and he other hotel was booked we had no choice. To my surprise it was a very nice beds were super comfy and the staff was super friendly .Theres a little cafe on the side of hotel that cooks some really great food. There is not much to do around Winnfield but this hotel left its mark. Will definitely stay again
