This hotel is OK. The staff is great, and the lobby area is very nice. We enjoyed breakfast, too. The rooms were a little disappointing and need updating, but they were clean. However, there is a lingering smell of old smoke in the rooms. It didn't bother me, but my husband commented on it and didn't like it. I'd stay here again if the price was right, but don't spend a lot of money on a room at this hotel.

Stayed here with family for a sports tournament weekend. Front desk was very professional, courteous, and cooperative. Hotel needs a refresh to say the least. Is an older Marriott property indeed of a very well needed rehab. Bedrooms were cleaned and maintained daily. However, overtime rooms develop a musty smell. We would look elsewhere for a different more modern updated property or next visit. No complaints with staff. Breakfast was pretty good.

When my husband checked out of the hotel, he left a hanging bag of clothing in the lobby. We discovered this mistake when we stopped for the next night about 600 miles away! We called the hotel and they offered to mail our clothes to us! That was certainly above and beyond what we expected. Today, 6 days later, our package arrived intact. I can’t thank the Fairfield enough for doing this service!! As far as the hotel itself, we were warmly greeted by a great young man at the desk, and everything with our stay was great!!

Best hotel for concerts at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre! It’s a two-star hotel in an area that’s sort of an industrial park, but who cares: That’s not why you’re staying here. I’m giving it a four-star rating because he had a very good experience here. It’s extremely close to the venue whether you’re driving or doing ride-share, the pro front desk team is all super nice, and it’s got all the basic amenities you’d want: Free breakfast with hot and cold options, fitness room, indoor pool, and laundry all on the first floor. We’ll stay here again next time we attend any concert in Tinley Park or have an event in Frankfort.

This was THE WORST Marriott experience we have had. First, the website (see attached screen shot) stated that the room slept 3 with 1 king bed, a sofa bed and a roll away. 3 beds, 3 people. Simple right? I was told that a roll away could not be placed in the room due to a fire hazard. It was late so we we going to deal with it in the AM. The next day the desk staff tried to help but said I needed to talk to the general manager. She was NOT helpful at all. She tried to blame their false advertising on us and kept redirecting the issue back to us. This is POOR customer service. Besides never getting the room we were promised and that is advertised the rooms were extremely small. The floors in the hall way and lobby were filthy and so was the elevator. I felt very unsafe! After talking with others in the area and even the hotel next door it was said that this hotel is very old also. Definitely NOT up to the Marriot standards at all. I asked that they refund my purchase and they said to call the manager after I got home. I did and did not get it resolved. HORRIBLE customer service. These people should not be in the hospitality business! A copy of this letter has been sent to Marriott Corporate and hopefully something will change or they will loose their franchise.

I come to the Chicago area multiple times a year, and usually stay Downtown or near O'Hare. This time I chose the Tinley location because it was central to all I needed to do, on this trip. I have to give a big shout out to Robert, he is one of the best front desk reps I have encountered in a long time. Robert went over and above to show extra kindness to my grandchildren. The staff at this location makes all the difference.

We have stayed at this location several times in the past. We stayed with points this time. We were told we had an upgraded room #215. The room smelled musty, the bed was uncomfortable and the toilet seat was attached by a thread! The rooms are just tired!! We were too tired to report the issues and give them a chance to address them. On a plus side, the gentleman who checked us in was very nice!!

Not all surfaces were clean. this was in addition to easily identified items that were worn out such as the mattress and items that did not work such as a lamp, TV remote. We were shown another room that was supposed to have been ready for occupancy that turned out to not have been made ready. Combined this eroded our confidence about the safety of the hotel. While I've stayed at many Marriott properties given my experience at this hotel I cannot recommend this particular hotel.

Not real happy. I’m an Platinum Ellie member and was not offered an upgrade, was not offered a water or anything from the market or any points. The pool under repairs. I waited at desk for a few minutes without being greeted. The TV in the room did not work correctly. The desk lamp did not work I had to crawl under desk and take the power adapter out and plug directly into outlet to charge my phones. They had 6 hours between check in and the time I arrived. They did not follow the account preferences and get me any extra pillows or anything. This was my first visit and will be my last. I am here every month on business and will continue driving to next hotel.
