My 5 night stay was comfortable, festive and engaging! Special Thanks to Christian, Michael, Tony and everyone else on property. Wth all thier dedication and team effort this property shines bright and we loved it. The facility has large rooms for conferences and banquets and yet I felt safe and at home with no hassles or disturbance. The rooms are pleasant and not excessive but extremely comfortable, especially the King size bed.A quick call to the front desk and room service will make the bed and tidy up the room and bring fresh towels. The exercise room was perfect, the pool and hottub are well maintained. Some bonuses include a restaurant/bar with good option. Other dining closeby. Easy access to plenty of shopping etc. The staff is always pleasant and smiling. Thanks for always making me feel welcome and at home. See you all soon.

There are many ways to book a bed... not so many ways to book an extension of home. I can't be the only one... raised in Wheaton, house has long been sold, parent is aging, and there is an increased need for family visits from both coasts. Most recently, that meant calling the hotel same day to say I was jumping on a plane and would arrive, most likely, around 1am. No problem. After negotiating O'Hare, the rental car facility and the unfamiliar roads in the middle of the night I was warmly greeted and VERY effeciently checked in. Thank you to the night staff who probably did not need my slightly manic arrival. I was here on Valentine's Day... . Absolutley enjoyed the holiday dinner from the hotel restaurant, Burger Social, and was so impressed by Cristian who made sure my dinner tasted good... and was also beautifully presented (even if I did order it to go!). Family stuff almost always means changes. I extended my stay two times and found the front desk to be well trained and accomodiating (thank you, Michael and Harrish and the morning staff as well). The weather here is making national news... and yes, I availed myself of the complimentary hot chocolate bar after I scraped off my rental car. And I could not have been more grateful that my room was cleaned every day. THANK YOU. A pre-covid amenity that I have missed and was both suprised and delighted to experience. We have been here before. We will be back. This staff is part of our story.

What a great team they have at the Holiday Inn Carol Stream. We hosted 250 people at our event and the team was prepared and made it almost seamless. Christian took awesome care of our guest for food and drinks? Gina worked hard on making sure we were prepared. Christine was an absolute joy to work with our sponsored event and Patti never sent me to voice-mail once and answered all my questions. We loved it and want to come back soon!!

Really loved both the room and the property itself. A very unique room design that I have never seen before (for a 2 room suite). The room was clean and everything worked well. Bed was comfortable. The room had a microwave and refrigerator (and coffee maker too). They have a wonderful pool area and their pantry had plenty of items. The only reason I took a star off was because the pillows had a strong perfume smell. Some of us are rather sensitive to strong odors and hotels should try their best to keep bedding items unscented. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn and would happily stay here again when in the Carol Stream area.

I have stayed at this location three times, and every time the front desk staff has been so helpful and friendly. I have had difficulty with my business properly reserving my stay, and each time the front desk staff has gone out of their way to help me solve my problems. Shoutout to Morelia and Michael, and sorry for the others names I cannot remember. The facilities, rooms, and amenities are great and every time I’m in the area I guarantee I’ll be staying here.

I booked 2 nights for a medical conference and when I booked I picked 2 complimentary breakfasts so I knew I'd have to pay for the extra person with me...at breakfast they brought a bill for almost $60...but told me that the 2 breakfasts would be credited back to my card...then at checkout they refused...I paid $600 for 2 nights and this hotel is not worth it...it's old and there was a funny smell...the manager the morning of checkout was rude I told him I would never book there again and he said WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN? We'll here what it means your hotel is one of the worst Holiday Inns I've ever stayed at and the most expensive one...I will try my luck with a different hotel the next time I'm in town...Hopefully others learn from my mistake!

The reception desk, Paula, was very very helpful upon check-in. The property was spotless as were the rooms we occupied. The king accessible had the BEST roll in shower ever, water drained properly. The restaurant was wonderful for breakfast and the bar in the evenings was enjoyable. Lenore, CJ, and Christian were attentive servers. We have stayed in Naperville most visits to my family but this property was the best by far.

They have a hot tub suite, we've used it before and it was ok. This time it was awful, and that's putting it lightly. It was room 254, the door lock didn't work with our key so we took all our luggage back down to the front desk and told them. They came and tried their master key card--nope. They had to go back down to the front desk and get the metal key, we waited and waited. Well, that worked after I was able to pluck off the plastic cover for her. She said she would have maintenance fix it tomorrow. We got in the room and the lights had a flicker to them. We thought they may stop after a bit--nope. We went to hang up our clothes and the closet door came off the track. Oops, I forgot my phone charger in the car and we don't have a room key. I went back to the front desk, they gave me a key to access the outside doors. I got my charger and all was good. We thought. Typically a hotel room will give you 4+ pillows, especially a suite with a fold-out couch-bed--nope. So, I tried to call the front desk--nope, the phone doesn't work. Thank God I charged my cellphone, I used it and a new guy was on duty and I asked if he was aware of the situation, yes, they left a note. I told him about the light and the closet door. I also explained that I was calling from my cellphone because the room phone doesn't work, he had some button I was to press to get a line--nope, this phone doesn't have that button. He asked if it was a black or white phone--nope, it was black AND white. He said 'Oh, that's our old phone'. I couldn't help but laugh. He apologized. I asked for my pillow and one was sent up. So, we are sleeping and awoke to screeching in the pipes upstairs at 12 AM! Argh, that took a while to stop, probably after they filled their tub. We went back to sleep only to be awoken again by the same screeching at 1:00 AM! What else can happen? Well, we were then awoken by the draining of the tub that caused the screech. Thankfully that was almost soothing and put us back to sleep, besides the fact we were dead tired from having our sleep disturbed so many times. We went out to go to church on Sunday and when we returned we stopped at the desk to ask if the door was fixed and get a key if it was--nope. There was no maintenance on staff that day. They called someone to meet us at our room open the door for us, telling them they need the master key. She attempted to open it with her master key CARD--nope, it didn't work even though she attempted it about 50 times as we were trying to explain that she needs the metal key. She didn't understand due to a language barrier. After she called someone who spoke her language she got the idea that she needed to get a metal key and told us she would be right back. We waited, and waited. Finally, we did get in the room. Besides all that happened, the carpet smelled musty like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, if ever. When checking out the same woman was manager-on-duty that checked us in and she apologized up and down. She did give us a little discount and I explained that this was the worst hotel stay we have ever had and we have been to a lot of hotels. She said a manager would call me and hopefully give us a better discount or something--nope, no call. This was only one room in the hotel, but you can see how many problems there were and it was just ONE NIGHT! Make up your own mind as to whether you want to stay at this hotel or not. We won't be back, that's for sure.

I am beyond violated at the fact that my vehicle was broken into. I did not receive any type of assistance from the staff after it occurred. There are no security cameras on the parking lot. They really need to invest in something so that guests can feel that their property is safe in the area.

Keep in mind that I am a certifiable Big City-o-phobe, and most of what I say about things in the big city need to be measured by that standard. Recently we needed to visit the suburbs of Chicago for a college visit. The Holiday Inn was recommended to us and we found an affordable room that was comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower were great, and the main level was pretty nice, too. We were on the 4th floor, and the hallway looked like a recent revamp. The check in and check out went flawlessly, but we are accustomed to the usually 'free' breakfast, which was not available here. There was a restaurant available, but I like the mini-muffins and the Golden Malted waffle machine, so I was a little disappointed on that one. Overall a good value.
