Check went smoothly. Beds were comfortable! Did hear traffic while falling asleep. Used 6AM shuttle to airport which was on time! Left vehicle in long term parking lot behind hotel. Did not get to try breakfast due to early departure. Would stay again!

SO disappointed because when we booked this hotel we asked about the wash & dryer. All of a sudden, we have to go to Courtyard (neighbor hotel) to do our laundry. Then when we got there, the wash & dryer was full…very upset! Next time we have to ask 10 times to make sure there’s wash & dryer INSIDE THE HOTEL

Stay Report - 11/11 to 11/12

Location: The hotel is located a little south of Midway Airport on Cicero Avenue about a mile from the terminal.  It's across the street from a Panda Express and in the same parking lot with a few other hotels and a TGI Fridays so you can get something to eat without a car which is always a plus.

Hotel: The hotel is a rare surviving early generation Hampton Inn.  On the plus side there's a large parking lot and the lobby is pleasant enough with some nice design.  Otherwise though everything about this hotel feels old and dated.  Thankfully there weren't any issues with safety or bad lighting or waits for the elevator.

Check In: I arrived at 1:30 PM and was nicely about to get right into my room.  The agent also thanked me for being Diamond and offered me snacks and a drink from the amenity box.

Room: As I mentioned earlier this is an early generation Hampton Inn down to the un renovated rooms.  Everything about it feels very ten years ago.  The tiny bathroom.  The small desk area in the fake wood paneled area.  Even a tiny TV.  Thankfully the hotel is quiet, the Wifi worked well and I had no real complaints.

​​​​​​​Overall this is a fine choice as long as you don't mind an older property.

I checked in at 8:00 PM and had to leave at 5:00 AM for a flight, so all I wanted was a good night's sleep. The rooms have connecting doors adjoining doors that let in ALL noise from the adjoining room. The people next door were just talking at a normal level, but they might as well have been in my room. I could hear every word, the splash of water from the shower, the tab of a beverage can being opened, the rustle of a bag. I don't even have particularly good hearing. They finally went to bed at 5:00 AM, just as I was leaving, so I didn't sleep at all.

I staggered downstairs to check out and had to wait ten minutes for the computers to come back on, which was understandable. I asked the front desk manager to call the airport shuttle while we waited for the computers, and she very pointedly rolled her eyes. I was too exhausted to ask what was so unreasonable about my request, but it didn't matter. The combination of bad room design and unprofessionalism ensure I'll never return.

You may as well check in online because the front desk people are rude and have no idea what they’re doing. The only thing they have going for this place is location. Billing issues right when I came in, then they wouldn’t take cash because it’s a cashless location and my bank isn’t even located in chicago. The staff was annoyed that they had to split up the payments and acted like I ruined their day. After they were able to actually get the payment through, my room wasn’t even ready and it was far past check in time. So I had to sit in the lobby for another half hour. The room was okay but I wish I didn’t have to deal with any of your poor quality, fast food level staff. Not staying here again especially since there are 4 hotels right across the parking lot.

Not very impressed with this property. When we booked the hotel there was not a fee for parking and when we get there there’s a $20 fee for each night for an unattended parking lot so I’m not sure why I paid for this. Also there was no bar or restaurant on site which it clearly stated that there was and I even called and asked and they indicated that there was. Not very happy with the misleading information

We have security on site who check the lots for the overnight ensuring the safety of parked vehicles. We were able to reserve a room on very short notice for an unexpected delay overnight at the Midway-CHI airport. The room was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Free shuttle from and to airport. Breakfast. Only drawback: thin walls; person next door watching TV at high volume. Sounded like he was in our room.

This is the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. Staff were completely disengaged and uninterested, plus the accommodations are low quality. The staff was very slow at the front desk and didn’t answer the phone. Bedding/sheets weren’t very comfortable. Felt like less than a 3 star experience.

We had very loud neighbors all night long which made our travel day the next morning very exhausting. The walls are so thin in this hotel and the staff was not able to control the noise after several attempts. It was a clean room but the air filter in the heating unit smelled very stale. The staff did handle my complaint quite fairly and they were truly empathetic of our situation.

Hotel is rather basic with small rooms. Bed was lumpy. We could hear the person in the next room snoring. Our toilet was running. We called the front desk about the toilet and the front desk guy (who was the only person on the desk) came up to try to fix it. I get that everyone is short staffed. He said that he would move us to another room if he couldn't fix it, which I appreciated. (Yes, he fixed it.)
