Pros: it’s quiet and secure. My unit had 4 bedrooms, 2 of them were master bedrooms and bathroom, kitchen, washer/dryer, dining area. No backyard but plenty of parking. The cons: my 11 yr old son did one cannonball in the pool, and here comes the calvary (security) rushing in and kicking us out. Really?! That has to be the saddest pool I have ever seen because the long list of “No’s” such as no running, no jumping, no music, no food, no bike riding, no playing, etc….I came back several days later to the pool and there was one guy who did a cannonball in front of security and they didn’t say anything to him! Better yet, there was another guy who did 2 cannonballs and no calvary came in rushing. Sheesh

Worst place we stood at.The owner to our unit was very nice. The security and management are very rude. The pool has so many rules;can't have any tubes/toys/balls. Kids can't jump in the pool. Worst experience ever. Save your money and look for something better.

There is only one pro to this review…the heated main pool! The cons are…complex is in a seedy area…not safe…too many beggars @ Hoagland & 192! Trying to get thru security is a nightmare! We come Jan thru March & have a monthly pass, but have to sit 20+ minutes to get in because traffic is lined up from both directions to get in. The owner did not supply us with a clicker so we sit & WAIT! The situation is not safe. Too many cars trying to get in @ once plus in & out from the complex across the street! It takes the guard forever to check in a newcomer & believe me the guard takes his/her sweet time. The “clicker” lane, for those who have clickers, doesn’t work half the time so those cars are also held up!! We’re snowbirds & this is our second year here. The complex has gone downhill since last year. There are more long-term renters than last year & it shows!! The grounds were better maintained last year. This year we have long-term people with dogs around us that do not pick up the dogs piles & the owners don’t carry bags so they have no intention of picking up after them. The smell is horrendous!! We complained to the owner of our unit…VB did nothing!! Unfortunately, we had a unit facing Hoagland & nothing but loud, speeding cars & some were so kind to share their LOUD music & bass with us for 3 months. This year (2022) has not been a pleasant year @ Venetian Bay & we will not be back. We were in hopes of coming back in future years, but we’re staying away from here & I’d advise anyone looking to rent here to think again…it’s not as they advertise!!

We booked this for a week through RCI. The check-in/out process is completely unacceptable. You have to go to a facility 4+ miles from the actual unit just to pick up and drop off a key. There is construction near there, which further frustrates that process. Then the parking pass is provided by the security guard. This causes lengthy delays/backups when trying to enter the complex. There is only one place to empty your trash. That required us to load the trash bags into the car and drive it to the compactor location. The compactor was broken and trash was piled everywhere. Not a good look. There were signs all over the unit threatening us with financial penalties for breaking rules, items, etc. There's no need to treat us like criminals. The pans were rusted. The towels were thread bare. There were no towels provided for swimming. The carpets were dirty and worn out. The mattresses were awful - they dipped way down in the middle. I will say that the wi-fi was good, the kids enjoyed the pool, and it was nice to have 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms.

Sign a lease for a year as a newly arrived family to Kissimmee. Unfortunately, the real estate, owners, and office staff do not communicate good. With COVID restrictions in effect the regular staff has been away leaving Mitzy to be rude, making and changing rules as she went along. Us signing and paying a lease, doing background checks, and everything else we did prior to moving in was not communicated between managements. Mitzy tells us a different story everytime we go in to check on what we need to do. Even after two month here we do not have parking permits and entry access. The most unpleasant moment is when I have to deal with Mitzy. If you are here for the short term, ensure you agent has everything ready when you get here. i you are here for the long term, think twice and try to get you agent to deal with Mitzy before your arrival. If not now that COVID restrictions are looser ask for Reberta. She might not be able to do everything but she is more polite and easier to deal with. She will not rin you around. She tells you all you need and provided all the paper work. She speaks Spanish which makes life easier for Spanish speakers who live here. My family who are the ones living here do not Speak any English have not been able to get anything helpful from Mitzy that is why when I arrive I am forced to try to communicate with her and I am less likely to get any help from this racist than my family.

Booked Venetian Bay 4 bedroom through RCI. Nice property and location. Condo furnishings were slightly outdated but very comfortable. Bring your dish washer liquid and coffee, coffee filters as there were available in the unit. Bedroom t v's were very small but we were so busy at the Parks that it did not matter. I would recommend Venetian Bay.

We just got back from staying at Venetian Bay Resort. My parents had rented a unit for a month and we were all very happy. The unit was beautiful and the property management company was great! If we had any issues they were there right away. There is security which was very nice and all of the pools were beautiful. The main pool is heated and that is where we spent most of our time. Definitely would recommend!!!

We booked this through VRBO and totally happy. Would definitely stay again. Clean as a whistle. So close to EVERYTHING!! 30 min from airport, 30-40 to Disney. Shopping is right around the corner. Anything you could think of going out for dinner is right there. We were happy to find a DQ and a Panda Express! Spacious three bedroom two bath condo unit. Stocked kitchen, but still needed garbage bags, or just reused small shopping bags. Dish soap, paper towels, even toilet paper. There was salt and pepper, but basically any condiments you need, you do have to purchase. Yes there are rules, but I really didn’t have an issue starting the dishwasher before I left, we washed the towels with the in unit washer dryer, even folded them too. Stripped the beds that we used. I mean it isn’t a hotel. You are in someone’s home. WiFi a little slow, but even cell service was slow. Went to the main pool one day, plenty of chairs, the lizards freak my daughter out so we didn’t stay long. It was a bit cloudy too. Over all so happy with my choice!!! And already want to plan for next time!!!!

We stayed in building 42 unit 102 for 1 week in January. The unit was clean and decorated nicely. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us. However, this is not a resort. I believe there are a number of rental properties in this development. Ours was 10 yards from a very busy road and sleeping was difficult. The windows didn't seal well. Also, my husband and I were woken up twice around 2 AM with a woman yelling. I believe it was coming from the unit behind the bedroom. There were no organized activities or entertainment. This felt like a VBRO which is fine... however, I could have found a nicer place for the price I paid trading it through our RCI timeshare (yearly maintenance fee and exchange fee). And I expected a resort feel. This is an active living community. The location was good. The main pool was closed the day we wanted to use it. Also, the "front desk" is 4 miles away. We did have an issue with our key that was resolved; thank goodness it happened during office hours. This may be a good place for someone who plans to stay for a long period of time. Not as a "resort" for a week vacation.
