Shady. Had to cancel a one night stay due to a flight cancellation and rescheduling of a meeting to a different location. Over a 4 hour period, I called the hotel to discuss the situation. The hotel front desk confirmed the reservation in the “in-house system” without my permission. I was supposed to get a call from Carlos regarding a refund. 3 hours no call. Called back to find that Brandon assumed we knew no call meant tough luck. He said call back in 4 days bc the manager would be back then. Brandon said the hotel would charge the credit card immediately. We spoke with corporate who informed us that once the reservation is taken in-house corporate can’t help. Since we did not confirm the reservation, it had to be the hotel. Shady business tactics over a one night stay!? Why? Seems desperate and shady. Corporate said they are reporting the tactics to HQ and Hilton does not treat guests this way. Both of us were quiet, calm, polite and reasonable with every employee to be treated with disgust and disrespect by this one location. Just choose another hotel in the chain but don’t expose yourself to this hotel’s trickery.

everything was good. i think the value was good. spent a little more, but got a huge breakfast, and a kitchen, so we saved money on food. it was so clean and comfortable that we always got a good night's sleep. always clean, and a good variety for breakfast.a good location if you want to go to the everglades or the keys.

Nice hotel. Fairly quiet for being right off the turnpike. Full kitchen is advertised but you must request cooktop and pans from front desk to really cook. Does have dishes, dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge. Breakfast is provided but is only bread/bagels, oatmeal, waffles, cereal and premade breakfast sandwiches. Same breakfast every day. No fresh fruit or real variety.

Home2 Florida City, FL…Where should I start? We checked in the day before we arrived and chose an available room. The following day as we were going to pick up our entry cards, the receptionist noted that the room was not yet ready and he would assign a different room. We took the alternate room (surprised that Home2 needed more than 24 hours to clean a room). The room was laid out as expected however there were several burned out lights. We told the receptionist that some lights were burned out. No one ever came to replace the bulbs. We expected that we would be able to cook in the room with an induction burner. We asked for one but then found that there were no pots/pans in the room to use with that burner. We sent it back. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were ok. The kitchen had a good fridge but many good utensils. They were okay. The coffee maker was a joke and the coffee - I can't even find the words for how unsatisfying it was. Breakfast was lackluster. The food provided looked like it had been sitting for a long time. Not appetizing at all. I went to Dunkin the first morning and Cracker Barrel the second day. The staff were not engaged and did not seem to care that our stay was less than pleasant. Some staff did not speak any English but did not try to find anyone to help. Those who did speak English did not have engaging attitudes. A week before we stayed at a Residence Inn in Florence, SC. We had to comment during that stay how engaging the staff was and how they made our one night stay so enjoyable. They made our day. The staff at Home3 definitely did not make any of our days. We will not be back to this Home2 location and will not be looking to book at any others with the fear they will be comparable to this one.

This definitely an older hotel that appears to have been remodeled as a Home2 Suites. The hotel definitely showed some wear & tear. That being said, there was nothing wrong with the hotel itself. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The 2 Queen suite seems to be the standard size - good for a two adults & two teens. The beds were soft and comfortable. They have a nice little outdoor seating area off the lobby if you want to eat breakfast outside or hang out in the evening. They had a good variety of breakfast options available. The pool is outdoors and is a good size. It is located where US-1 and the Reagan Turnpike join up, making a good place to stay if you are visiting the Everglades or Keys.

Lots of mixed reviews on this hotel. This was our first time staying here. Was recommended to us by another family member that's stationed at the Air base. But I can say that My family and I enjoyed our stay. The location is great. We were headed to keys and decided to stay here for a few nights. Check in was a quick and easy. Would like to praise The Front desk agent Dana, very nice and friendly. It's always good to talk to a local that's knowledgeable of the area and activities locally that's kid friendly. No complaints on the room but I can say they should upgrade the rooms. For some reason the hallways had no ac. The complimentary breakfast was great! They do have a pool but unfortunately they close the pool down early. The Tap room next door was great in the evening to have some local beer on tap. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for three nights. The price was perfect and the hotel was a great launch pad for our adventures into the Everglades and the upper Keys. The room provided a lot of great storage and was clean and up to date. My husband liked the separate seating area. I did not like that the pool closed at 7pm. We never got to swim because we always got back too late. I don't know if I would recommend this location for kids, but for two adults, it was the perfect choice.

This hotel is a shame to the brand HILTON. I never was staying at a Home2Suites by HILTON before and never will again. Our room smelled like „wet dog“, the carpet in the first room looked unclean, the air condition did not work properly (probably one cause for the bad smell. There was barely any decoration in the room, not talking about the unfriendly colours. The bathroom had a handicapped chair in the shower which made it look like being in a hospital or worse, because the chair was partially rusty and unclean. Breakfast did not offer at least minimum standard (the eggs were prepacked and grosss) Furtheron, when making the reservation, we have requested a quiet room away from Highway 1, however I got a room pointing at Highway 1 with all the noise. I have complained about the bad Air Condition and the smell and asked for another room, this was denied. Nothing in this hotel makes you feel welcome and it was the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel with the brand HILTON.

Arrived late at night for a 4 night stay to visit the Everglades. First room smelled so bad of Urine and chemicals. Night clerk was helpful and immediately gave us another room. It smelled marginally better but the toilet ran all night, the bathroom and fixtures were old and seemed dirty. The carpet was sticky. All but one ice machine was out of order. The hotel just smelled bad. As it was late we spent the night but promptly cancelled our remaining nights and moved to a Hilton Garden Inn a few miles away. The staff were nice but the facilities need to be gutted and renovated.
