Situated on one of Telluride’s prettiest streets (210 Oak Street) only steps from the gondola and two blocks from main street (Colorado Avenue), there is no better location for experiencing all Telluride has to offer. The house has been thoughtfully decorated using a mix of custom furnishings, Tyrolean antiques, imported fabric from Tyrol, and Austrian ceramics.
This is a truly unique place with great charm and within walking distance of everything in town! Felicia and Bill were wonderful hosts and provided us a wealth of insight on the history, things to do and places to eat. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the Gams room! The fall is a beautiful time to see Telluride and the Dunton Townhouse made it a special anniversary and first time visit for us!

Another good stay in Telluride. Dunton Townhouse is within walking distance of everything in Telluride. Mantei room has great views and a comfortable seating area, with a balcony and lots of windows. Bathroom very nice, big shower. Hirsch room also has mountain views. Innkeepers welcoming and provide a delicious breakfast. Common areas lovely, and the Gmunder Austrian china used is enchanting.

This is our 4th year staying at Dunton Town House and remains our favorite place to stay in Telluride. The location is perfect, the house is immaculate and the staff amazing. Felicia and Bill are just plain awesome! They make the place top notch in our opinion.

We stayed one night in a king bedroom. The townhouse is located right off the Main Street on a quiet side street a few minutes walk from the gondola. Felicia greeted us & helped us with our luggage & to get settled. There may be only 5 or 6 rooms here and a common area to relax in. Breakfast was served either in your room or in the reception area. We had pastries, fruit, OJ , tea, yogurt parfait. All was wonderful! We had a delightful stay and would highly recommend.

What a perfect choice in Telluride. We stayed in Mantei, which had incredible views from the windows and balcony, and was attractively furnished. The bathroom was great. The managers, Felicia and Bill, were both friendly and attentive, and served a very nice breakfast, on delightful Austrian china, each morning in the lovely dining room at the front of the original old Telluride house. The hotel is perfectly situated, near the main street, restaurants, the Gondola, etc. I was so glad I chose Dunton Town House for our 4 day stay.

I can’t recommend this gem highly enough. It is incredibly comfortable and every detail is superb. They have thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Fully packed kitchen for guests. Toasty warm robes and under floor heating in bathrooms. Aesop bath products!! No masks with vacc shown.

My husband and I took a two road trip this last month and decided to include a few nights in Telluride at the Dunton Town House. It is now our new favorite place to visit and stay. The hotel itself is super cute, it's small, I think there are 5 room total but the property is immaculate and our room was fantastic. The room was spacious, cozy and so pretty, we had a great bathroom with a sky light and heated floor (I am a sucker for those radiant heated tile floors, ah they are heaven) there were great views of the mountains and we even had a little patio. I worked in the skincare business for years and they had Aesop toiletries which are amazing, plus a little jar of bath bombs to use also. The staff was so amazing, Elyse (sorry if I spell it wrong...) took great care of everything we needed, even got us really early morning coffees the day we had to head out. They really supply anything and everything you could need on vacation. The location is perfect, less than a block from the gondola and walking distance to all the spots in town. I especially enjoyed the ski room they have on site with storage and a boot warmer to boot! If you are in Telluride you NEED to stay here, it's simply the best! But probably don't book Gams... because that's officially my room now haha! :)…

As the little sister property to Dunton Hot Springs, this place lives up to the famous Dunton name. While not as luxurious as the Hot Springs location, it's not meant to be. It's a small, (5 or 6 room) property. The bathrooms are amazing, great products, comfy beds, and if a room on the second floor, a great balcony for enjoying the warm summer days. Our hosts were amazing and took our breakfast order for fresh breakfast from the local bakery. Would definitely love to come back in winter as it is a one minute walk to the gondola that takes you up to mountain village.

With most of our 2020 travel canceled due to COVID, my husband and I decided on an in-state splurge at Dunton Town House for our wedding anniversary. Elyse was super responsive ahead of our arrival. Check-in was a breeze and our room (Mankei) was spacious, chic, and spotlessly clean with great high-end amenities (Aesop bath products, Glerups slippers, etc.). Being able to walk to everything in town was fantastic; I much preferred town to the ski village. Breakfast was lovely; Elyse and Felicia took great care of us whether we were having an easy morning or headed out first thing to go hiking (to-go burritos!). Access to unlimited snacks and drinks was really great too. The Dunton team was definitely COVID conscious, and I feel like everyone (other guests included) did a great job with distancing, mask wearing and such. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to DTH.…

We stayed 2 nights in Telluride at Dunton Town House. Quaint little place in a great location - right off main street and right next to the gondola. It only has a handful of rooms which is nice as it felt like our own home ... Loved all the treats in the kitchen and bar! Room was a nice size and had a great view of the mountains. Breakfast was also a highlight as brought in from the local bakery. And a shout out to Felicia who was with us at both the town house and the hot springs. She had great tips!
