We enjoyed our 2nd stay at this timeshare property. Facilities are OK, getting a little old but are kept clean. The pool bar serves great sandwiches a.d selection of cocktails and beers. No special benefits for Marriott Bonvoy elite members at this property. An are that needs improvement was the cleanliness at the tiny gym which is way too small for the size of hotel. Machines are old and filthy. We might try another property next time.

The property is very average. The fitness center is very small for such a large facility. The fitness center was not clean (the floors were dirty and equipment needed to be dusted). If you are not a property owner, there aren't many good golf times open. There are no restaurants on the property. The property is near a busy road so it can be noisy at night with traffic.

This hotel is in a good location and the grounds are lovely. However, upon entering our room it was very dated and the carpet was ripped along the seams! It made the room feel somewhat unclean. Also, in the parking lot were stacks and stacks of old mattresses and box springs which makes me wonder if there was an issue they were dealing with or just upgrading those items! We were expecting to stay in a quality Westin, but got a Sheraton experience!

While the resort was pretty good, our room was very dated. The bed was uncomfortably soft. I don’t have a bad back but after sleeping in this bed my back was sore. The bathtub was very small and looked like it was from the 80’s. I would not stay here again unless they renovated the room.

No resturants on property just a pool bar Hot tub was closed for first 3 days of stay including Christmas eve and Christmas day. Did not clean room on scheduled day and did not bring towels when we asked for replacement. Do not answer service express line. And the pathway connecting to the westin hotel which has resturants, golf and spa is permanently blocked. I have been an owner for over 15 years and by far the worst managed property I have stayed at very disappointed. I would also suggest you support guests with bicycles by having a bike rack and complimentary pump. Instead when I asked to borrow one I received a lecture about not having any and not allowing guests to use if they did.

There were some good things about this location - the kitchen was well equipped; nice to have a real coffee maker instead of the pods; having laundry onsite is a nice bonus as well; the couch had a chaise lounge, which I love. The bed was comfortable. The East Pool was fun, great to swim and lots of deck chairs. There were more bad, though. To start, we thought we had booked at the Westin Resort next door, not a vacation club. There was no access between the two sites. Most of the amenities were located in the resort section, leaving us to feel like we were second class guests. Our room felt dingy and dirty; the dining table was dirty. The barbecue worked for about 10 minutes then shut down. We found 5 or 6 house crickets every day. The bathroom was a disaster. Looked like there had been a flood at some point. Instead of fixing things properly, they just painted over the warped wood and the paint was coming off. There were big gaps in the grout in the floor, one of the tiles was no longer attached. The tap for the tub looked like it was about to fall off, and the towels all had ragged edges. The vanity was nice but two inches too small for the space. The shower was showing signs of mold. Housekeeping was supposed to be done every two days; we only saw them once and that was because we asked for new towels and bedding. We ran out of shampoo and body wash on day 6 of our stay. Asked for replacements and they were just left on the kitchen counter. Had a terrible time trying to get them replaced. Ran out of coffee filters and had to use paper towels. As frequent travellers, we expect a certain level at a Westin. This location failed badly. We will never again stay in a Westin Vacation club. This was a terrible way to demonstrate the value of joining.

I’ve been an owner at the Hawaii resort for about 25 years. Here’s my experience at the western in Palm Springs. Stayed as last minute vacation as I had left over points that were expiring. We are still here. We read review prior to coming and we’re skeptical. We didn’t look for perfection, but want to warn people that you may want to head to Marriott versus this resort first if you can. We wished we had read that. 1. Front desk staff not friendly at all. Seemed poised to tell you all the things they will not do for you. 2. The gate is locked between Westin resort (Marriott doesn’t own anymore) and this timeshare now. This would usually just be a slight disappointment but there is literally NO food or even snacks for purchase at the front desk. The one pool restaurant closes at 7pm and is overpriced and not good at all. Dine in is served here in take out containers with plastic utensils. Drinks are terrible. Why doesn’t Westin even have a few snacks in a vending machine. Not thinking of their guest here. And know that there are signs all over saying that you cannot bring your own food or drink to the pool area. This is not usual at marriotts either. 3. Washing machine doesn’t work. Just keeps washing on wash cycle. Put on cold cycle and water is scalding hot, and literally ruined all our clothes as they were darks and needed cold water only. 4. Pool was closed all day because there was lightning 10 miles away. ALL DAY I reiterate. I understand that may be the standard for Westin but kids are playing on soccer fields and swimming at camps until they hear thunder yet Westin closes all the pools and hot tubs for something 10 miles away. Seems overly cautious but I will say I don’t completely understand safety protocols on this one. 5. There are 2 hot tubs. One was closed for unknown reasons. The other was as lukewarm and was so horrible to go in. After a day of hiking also and we were so looking forward to getting in the hot tub. And after the pools and hot tubs were closed the day before. The biggest problem is ZERO communication. We walked so far to the other “working” hot tub just to get in and be uncomfortable and have to walk all the way back cold. Ugh. So disappointing. Not what we paid for on our vacation. Definitely not Marriott standards we are used to. All that said, we are good at making do and having a good time where ever we are and making do not matter where we are. The room is clean. The balcony is nice. The resort is actually nice and well-maintained. Feels more like an Airbnb situation then a resort/hotel definitely lower quality than we used to at the Marriott timeshares. Our big hope is that the hot tubs get hotter and we get to enjoy them before we go. Time will tell.

We really enjoyed the property—- great staff, loved the pool area and the variety and space. The DJ at the pool was awesome. The suites were equipped with a lot more than expected so it worked great with our toddler. I would definitely stay here again!

Nothing special at this place. There is a large heated pool. Rooms are minimal. There is a small bar, restaurant for take out food in afternoon, early evening and limited breakfast on weekends. One small grill area, limited parking. The adjacent resort that still has westin name no longer managed by marriott, so shuttle between 2 no longer operates. Would rather be at a residence inn!

The resort and on-site restaurant are staffed with professionals who understand that you are there to relax. The resort is very clean and well-maintained. The staff were welcoming and took very good care of us during our stay. The exercise facilities are well-equipped, and the golf course attracts locals as well as hotel guests. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio at Pinzinimini, especially the omelets. All in all, a great trip at a wonderful Marriott resort run by an excellent staff. A special shout out to Tom Scaramellino, the General Manager of the property, who was out in front greeting guests as they arrived over the Thanksgiving holiday and seemed to be everywhere, every day.
