I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff was welcoming, accommodating, helpful, and super friendly. We loved staying in the cabin which made it a more unique and outdoor experience, with all the comforts you would need. The restaurant on site is absolutely superb and delicious, and the wine bar, is very cozy and cute, which is just above the river. It was a truly unique and lovely stay and we would love to come back one day.

We had plenty of room in our room but what made this location are the grounds. It' like staying in a small park. Lots of trees and the river made for a relaxing stay. My wife loves to record and identify birds and Queen's Inn outdoor area was perfect for that. Staff was friendly and helpful. We only stayed the one night and I would have loved to stay longer to enjoy their outdoor areas.

Staying at the Queen's Inn was the perfect place for a nostalgia tour of our former hometown. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the private porch. Each evening we sat there watching the day fade and the stars come out. So quiet and dark. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Idle Hour kitchen, eclectic food, wine and friendly service. We felt like family. It was a delight to find such a welcoming place.

Watch out for scams!!! My family and I had stayed there in early June to visit Yosemite. We brought our dog with us on this trip since this place allows dogs. Restaurant staff is very friendly and had great food. We had a great time until we checked out. Since we paid a pet deposit of $100, we were told we can expect a refund back into our account within a week. Okay, so we did not really think much about it. Two weeks had passed. Still not seeing any refund. We were wondering if there was anything that got damaged by our dog so we tried to call and no one answers the phone in the office so we left a message. Still no response. so we followed up with an email. Looks like none checks the email either. If we are going to get charged, at least please tell us what they are for. If not, I guess we can call that a scam! I also had a feeling that this is probably not the first time they had done this to a customer since they are in the middle of nowhere. For those who are pet owners or who want a headache-free experience. Stay a way from this place. What a shame!!

Similar review has been left by Gin Stayed in room 2: Lovely staff, everyone was really friendly and happy. Room was neat, decent size fridge, coffee machine, decent shower. Room had been thoughtfully pre-cooled prior to our arrival. Was so quiet at night and the view of the sky was superb Staff put out bug spray for the unprepared to use in the evening! Plenty of parking Town had enough to fill our needs for the couple nights (supermarket, restaurant, petrol garage) The mattress and pillows were just right, however the (frame?) was incredibly loud evey time you moved! The light outside stayed on all night and there was only slat blinds on the front/back/backdoor windows so it was quite light (and very much so in the morning) Overall a great place with just a minor couple of pain points.

Pluses: we were in room 6; decor was lovely and charming, bright spacious bathroom with good pressure and hot water, keurig, microwave, fridge, close parking, friendly staff at checkin, easy chair though it is very sagging, nice deck with table and chairs. At night from here it is dark enough for good star viewing. Minuses: included breakfast is a few chocolate chip cookies, bed is agonizingly loud (maybe broken springs?) and sagging, and a lot of light coming in all night through the blinds from the parking lot. (A sleep mask solved this for me)

I didn’t actually stay here…I was scammed by a booking agent and they booked me a room here. When I explained the situation to Jamie, she refunded my money. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jamie…very efficient and understood that we were going to MN, not CA and although this hotel sounds wonderful, we are going to a reunion so have to go to MN. Jamie was efficient and to be honest, we are going to try and come here next year, just because of the quality of the hotel and employees.

The room was clean, bed comfortable and shower good. We have stayed there before and have thoroughly enjoyed it. This time it felt like the winery was more important to the owners. The wine bar wasn’t open apart from Friday and Saturday evening. It’s in the middle of nowhere so it would have been good if the winery or wine bar had been open. Covid restrictions had been lifted but no breakfast was available. The muffins supplied were awful. Housekeeping wasn’t available but as we had booked for 3 nights I did request new towels and more coffee pods.

We loved our stay at the Queens Inn. Everything was clean and inviting. Loved the antique style furniture in our room and the decor was perfect. Only drawback was the handicap room we had did not have access to get off the private deck so we were unable to walk back by the river.

We wanted a quick overnight getaway for our anniversary and Queens Inn was perfect! We stayed in one of the cozy king cabins and had our own outdoor deck with table and chairs. After appetizers there, we headed to the wine/beer bar on the property and sipped some nice drinks outside by the river. The cabin has a little fridge and microwave and Keurig. The winery next door is a plus - with delicious wine! We can’t wait to go back for another romantic respite.
