I'll start with the positive. The location of the hotel was perfect for us and the things we wanted to do in Chetumal. We have parking available for free. The rooms were clean, comfortable, had hot water, AC's that worked, perfect water pressure, and the toilets flushed properly. The negative. Whoever was the front desk staff on shift in the morning during July 29 - 30 was rather impersonable and rude. It felt that when she understood that we were Belizeans, her mood and attitude changed. We came to see if we were able to have a slightly early check in (if it wasn't possible that's understandable), however, she was very stark in her response saying no - 3pm - no flexibility. So we left. We came back and another front desk staff was there. She was nice and accomodated us and treated us well. There was some mix up with the rooms being available but we sorted it out. The following morning before heading out for breakfast we went down to confirm the check out time given our first response on day one with checking in. We were told we can stay until 12. We went to do our rounds and came back. Upon checking out, my mother went to check out as I didn't want to deal with the rude front desk staff - she is hispanic and was told that we can get a receipt, but because the reservation is in my name I had to go for it. After entering and asking for the receipt, the rude front desk staff mention "oh you are Belizean so you don't need anything." I left and didn't argue because I had it with her rudeness and attitude. The facilities are nice but your staff needs training and better cusotmer service. Also, I'm not one for any type of racisim. I'm not sure what Belizeans have done to your place in the past, but I will not be staying here again knowing how we were treated.

Nothing special, Motel 6 quality. Hotel Casa Blanca served its purpose for the night. There is no heat or AC, at least in the room we stayed. The towels and sheets felt a little crusty, but overall felt safe here. All the staff was kind and helpful in the check in and check out process. Side note, had the best mushroom tacos at the corner food stand. Just step out to the left.

We stayed here for a night after coming from Belize and having a flight from Chetumal the following day. Pros: - clean and tidy room - good sleep quality - upon check-in the front desk spoke English and was friendly - location in the city but also not far from the airport Cons: - no breakfast available. On a Sunday morning, a restaurant with a decent breakfast menu was about 5 minutes away by foot - slow WiFi - the complimentary airport transfer would have required booking them several days in advance - between the room and the bathroom there was a relatively steep step, which was dangerous when going to the bathroom in the night without lights - when checking out, the front desk didn't speak English

We stayed here overnight as we were getting the ferry from Chetumal to Belize the next day and wanted something within walking distance of the ferry terminal. It was a perfectly adequate hotel. Here are a few of my thoughts on the specifics. * LOCATION - Located around 700m from the ferry terminal so within walking distance to same. * HOT WATER - Worked fine for us * SECURITY - Door and windows locked * WIFI - Worked fine but the annoying thing is rather than give you a wifi password they give you a specific code that needs to be put into the system. The problem with this is two fold (1) It only lasts 2 days (so you need to get another one after 48 hours (2) It only allows you to connect one device to the wifi (Ie you cannot connect a iPad and iPhone using the same code, I tried). * ROOMS - The room was clean. It had comfortable beds and the air conditioning worked well. Overall our stay was perfectly adequate for purpose. This hotel lacked any degree of sex appeal as the place was a bit dated but all was serviceable which is all I guess one can expect from the limited options available in Chetumal.

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to Bacalar & the airport. Our room was cleaned each day and the bed was very comfortable but our shower ran out of hot water on many occasions and you must ask the front desk for wifi passwords each day as they run out very fast. The staff members weren’t the most helpful of people but the room itself was very nice and I would recommend staying here if you need to get to the airport early the next day as it was only a 7 minute drive away, also they have two parking lots for cars.

The desk staff really don’t care about anything. They don’t even acknowledge you if they walk by. Don’t bother to ask them for any information about anything. Be aware that EVERYTHING in this area CLOSES around 5 or 6pm, including most restaurants. It’s a long hike or taxi to get anywhere after dark. But the rooms are clean and the shower works. And it’s convenient to the airport.

This hotel is clean and on the outskirts of town, so it's good if you are traveling through to somewhere. Good parking. I don't like the fact that the only window looks onto the passage ways and the opposite neighbours on same floor and the floors above and below you can see into your room, so one tends to keep the curtains closed all the time.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I don’t speak Spanish however they helped with everything that I needed and made me feel very welcome. All of the staff that I encountered were wonderful. The bedroom was large and everything is clean. There is complimentary water and coffee. I stayed here just to relax and catch up on sleep so unsure about location, as I wasn’t exploring Chetumal itself, although I did find some good restaurants nearby. Wifi could be better.
