Our appartment was dilapidated and dangerous. A leaking boiler, no carbon monoxide or smoke alarm. Holes in floor, cracked tiles, plugs hanging out of sockets, poor sound insulation, wobbly table and chair, broken curtain, dirty old radiators, paint peeling off the walls. Nothing like the photo's. Some appartments must be renovated looking at other reviews so worth checking which appartment you will have.

Altissim have a number of apartments throughout Pas. We stayed in the exec 8 bed apartment. The apartment was fantastic. It was spacious, warm, had wifi, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. You could ski to the apartment and there was ski storage in the basement. Only negative was the bedding. You had to collect bed sheets from the office in town when you arrive, and return these to the office when you check out (apartment was a 15 min walk from office). The duvet and pillows were dirty, and you're only given flat sheets rather than proper duvet covers. Apart from that, the apartment was great.

We stayed in Altissim above Burger King. We had to check in on arrival at 2. Our room wasn't ready until 5. We had to wonder around with all our suitcases and our bed sheets and towels they gave us!! The room was extra small. It sold it for 5 people. There were 4 of us and there was a fold down double and single bed in the tv room/ kitchen. No room to move. The apartment was old fashioned, doors didn't close properly, extension leads everywhere, electric flicking off, lights needing replaced, squeaky beds, heater in bedroom not working. I also got my suitcase stolen from here and staff were very unhelpful. Worst stay ever.

Apartment 407 in Grizzly Block was fantastic. Newly refurbished in modern contemporary style with all mod cons. Literally across the road from the Piste and all lifts in Pas. Altissim is at the top end of the town so much quieter and probably better suited to those who don't want to party all hours. That said , the bars and clubs are only a 5-10 minutes walk. Loads of supermarkets selling everything you could want and more!! Staff in the office were really helpful, don't be put off by what appears to be rude indifference, they aren't. My only gripe would be the lack of response to my emails. Also the office is open at certain times 4-7pm ... if you arrive before that, the nearby bars are accommodating and friendly. I'm not sure if all the apartments have been refurbished but they are spread across different accommodation blocks but are mostly slope side.

Staff were very helpful. We didn't arrive in resort until 11:15pm (after the office had shut) and they arranged to leave the keys at a local restaurant and gave instructions how to find it which was perfect. They even left a voicemail when I had landed to say they were there. The apartment itself was small however it had everything we needed, 6 beds, kitchen areas with pots pans iron etc and shower with hot fast running water. Everything you need as a base - it was ideal. On the last day we blitzed the apartment clean and left keys and linen outside the office with it being new years day. The deposit was then refunded on to my card the day after. The beds were a little hard and the room a little cramped with all our gear but it did everything we needed for a 5 night break. I would definitely stay here again!!

Booked for a family of 5...on arrival late afternoon at the tiny office to check in, we were split into 2 separate apartments 300 yards away form each other! Staff refused to put us nearer or even together..the smaller apartment block was filled with young louts arriving out of lifts with bottles of alcohol and using drugs in the corridors...the room was absolutely filthy and there was no bed apart from a skanky futon in the lounge area with a filthy throw over it. The apartment block throughout was pitch black with bad lighting..the 'kitchen' was so small we couldn't even open a cupboard door! The apartment was certainly not what we had booked on the internet and they have used photos from other apartments! Very misleading. We refused to stay in it, and immediately gave the key back to the booking office. We had to then wait 4 days for them to decide whether to give us a refund. (and when they did it was 120 euros short! - bloody cheek!) The other apartment we were allocated (which was supposed to be their 'premier' apartments had 1 bedroom and needed to sleep the 5 of us! Again the bed and pull out bed in the lounge were filthy with dirty throws, pillows and sheets...the curtain pole was hanging off the wall, the windows that could be opened, opened onto brick walls, the door was damaged and there were damp stains all through the hallways. Located above a bar in one of the back streets of Pas with no signage of company/apartment block, took us nearly 2 hours to find it as staff were not helpful at all, and did not offer to show us where our apartment was! After one night in the apartment, we complained yet again and decided to try and find a hotel...luckily we found availability in the lovely Hotel Sporting and we could finally get our holiday underway. Sadly though, again when dealing with the check out of the apartment...the staff at Altissim insist on checking that it has been left clean before returning any deposits!! They arrived 45 minutes late causing us to almost miss our flight home...We took true photos of both apartments which we will be sharing via social media sites. We will never ever use this company again and would not recommend these apartments...We can now see why they charge a 200 euro deposit when you see the kind of clientele that it attracts! We were quite prepared to do basic, but can't do filth....sorry! vile, scummy doss houses!!
