Hotel Tres Reyes is centrally and conveniently located in San Carlos de Bariloche. The price is very affordable, the cleanliness is perfect, the rooms have beautiful views of the lake and mountains, the breakfast is very good (especially great variety of tasty pastries), the service is very good, if you are taking any of the excursions, this hotel is one of the pick up locations (very easy and convenient). I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Bariloche to stay here!

This European style hotel is located on a main thoroughfare. So if you want a room with a view of the lake..it will be noisy..if you sleep with the windows open..which you need to do in summer. There is no aircon. To avoid this and sacrifice a large bed to a double..get a room with a view of their garden. Much quieter. The rooms are adequate with the bathroom having the dumb bath/shower combo. The ground floor had a vast area for lounging and a vast breakfast room. Breakfast is fine with adequate selection. Front desk staff are excellent. Bag storage is poor. No specific room and no tagging.Postion is excellent..one 2 hundred metres from the central mall. Wifi is ok.

We stayed here for one night after doing the Cruce Andino from Puerro Varas. Staff were very friendly and helpful with taxis and luggage etc. Breakfast was OK. The room was fine. The hotel felt a little run down but we liked the location and we had a good nights sleep.

Horrible service… don’t stay here. The person who checks you is lazy as hell.. they don’t give a friendly presence. The hotel is old and does not fit the beauty of this city and there are several better hotels at this price. The view sucks from the luxury suite we rented and I had rented a car and the parking is supposedly free. However is the all spots are occupied in the parking lot they send you to another several blocks away and you have to pay… this place is stupid so I strongly recommend not spending a cent in this hotel.

I check out in 2 days but the check in and start of my stay is horrible.. there are at least 4 other parties waiting in the lobby because their were issues with the rooms apparently..

I went a lot of times to Bariloche ...this hotel is not bad, but not good.
In general Bariloche hotels are bad, this is better than others.
Nice lobby with a welcome drink, helpful staff, neutral breakfast
Good located...old rooms, not high quality, but, its ok

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Tres Reyes for 5 nights in November 2005. It is a very nice hotel with good service and excellent buffet breakfasts. It is right by the lakeside, with a good view from the dining room. However, it is only a street or two from all the amenities of the town centre- including lots of very nice bars and restauraunts. Bariloche itself is like a Swiss resort- very civilised. You can get very cheap buses to Llao Llao, Cerro Otto and Lago Guitiarrez, which are all worth visiting. For us this hotel wins on price and location over more expensive hotels in more impressive surroundings. The only very slight downside is some noise from the road in front of the lake- but that wouldn't stop us going back.

We spent 4 nights here and had a wonderful experience. The rooms on the back side of the hotel are cheaper and quieter for the same size room. You can't look out at the lake, but it has a nice garden view. I stayed on both sides, and preferred the quiet over the view. They have shutters and windows on the front, but traffic is still loud. The hall carpeting could use a redo, but the rooms are clean and bright. The staff is consistently helpful and cheery. The breakfast is outstanding as it is the only place we stayed that will fix you an omelet or other eggs upon request (though they don't advertise it). The parking is inconvenient as a bellhop has to go out manually and let you out and in. The location is superb. You can get stuck staying out of town in Bariloche if you are not careful, but this place is right down town, just 2 blocks from the civic center. and right across a street from the lake. They have 3 computers available, but they are sometimes hard to get, and somewhat slow speed (probably a related condition). The rooms were very clean.

My husband and I changed our original hotel after one night and ended up at Tres Reyes. We like to sleep well and Bariloche City is challenging during their summer months because many if none of the hotels have A/C so the windows need to be opened. Very noisy streets! Tres Reyes is across from the lake and has a garden in the back. Great scenery on both sides and if you want peace and quiet ask for a room on the garden side. Staff was great and the room was always clean with more modern updgrades.

In a very special location and counting with reliable and serviced minded staff. The hotel has good rooms, excellent heating system, everything working just as it should be with a plus and outstanding breakfast. It really surprised us as they don´t pretend to be anything other than satisfactory. However, they are indeed much more. And also very struct, clean with large ambient. Pretty and well decorated. Enough said and most definitely recommended for all public

My husband and I travelled to Bariloche for a 4 week skiing adventure. We didn't particularly want to go with a guided tour so we decided to book our own accommodation.

We decided to stay here as my husband had previously stayed here on 3 occassions for business (one stay was 1 month).

While the hotel is not flashy or the best bathrooms or mod-cons, it is clean, has a fantastic view of the lake and is only 1 block from the main street.

We stayed for 2 weeks in the Suite. There was a little noise from the street traffic of a morning, but the double-glazed windows helped with the reduced noise. The room had a huge king size bed with ensuite (the bathroom desperately needs to be renovated). The loungeroom had 2 wing chairs and an occassional lounge, chairs and TV (the TV also needs an update). On a few occassions you could hear kids running through the hallway, but on average the room was fairly quiet - AND IT HAD AN UNINTERUPPTED VIEW OF THE LAKE!! The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis (they even folded our clothes one day!!).

Breakfast was included in the price - a great spread of cakes, pastries, cereals, breads, smallgoods and eggs (you have to ask for the eggs - they cook them fresh for you).

The front desk staff are very friendly and speak good english.

Overall, a very good experience for the rate. Great location, no problems with cleanliness or staff. If you want a quiet room, ask for a garden view.
