This is hands down THE BEST HOTEL in not only in Chennai but they can compete with the best chains globally. I have been to many hotels in US/UK/Malaysia/singapore and China and this hotel is right up there. The staff is world class, prompt. They listen and understand the needs of the customer. The food is cooked to perfection . My special gratitude to Navin/Ramesh/driver Ganesh and MariMuthu. They don't nickel and dime the customer and are generous in providing you with the necessary condiments etc. I highly recommend the GRT Grand. Don't move in anywhere else when you are in Chennai.

I stayed here in the first week of March,22. They graciously accomodated the request of early check in and confirmed my reservation on phone without any advance. Vivek was extremely helpful in getting the room of my choice since the earlier room was having some issue. The breakfast spread was delicious with lot of variety. Keep up the good work guys.

Awesome treatment! Excellent breakfast and food! Very supportive and understanding staff! Enjoyed whole stay. We called GRT late in the night for available room reservation. Staff was very helpful to provide rooms as per our request. Room service, back and forth communication On all the available services was super good. Staff went over beyond our expectations regarding packing complimentary breakfast as we were checking out early in the morning. Overall our stay at Grand was beyond awesome!!

Everything is well maintained including breakfast, staff’s service and friendliness, furnished rooms. I am so satisfied.
We can use gyms, pools, and bars. Especially when it comes to a pool, it is situated inside, so there are no warms or dusts floating, which differentiates this hotel from others.

We organized our kid first birthday celebration at one of their banquet halls. Our entire family would like to thank the staff and chef who made this event more enjoyable and for serving the delicious food to our guests. The food was always served and filled hot, live counter was a whole new experience and the deserts are yummy. The banquet hall was well cleaned and maintained before the event and can accommodate what they promise. A special thanks to Manigandan and Arun kumar for coordinating and supporting the event starting from beginning and until we left the premise. Overall it was a memorable experience and we cant wait to plan our next event.

Unlike Accord Metro, food quality, taste, variety, and dining room were exemplary. Unlike The Park hotel, room was very clean without dust. No cinema posters in the room. Unlike Accord Metro, the electrical outlet are placed in accessible location and bathrooms are spacy. Altogether it was a pleasent, relaxing stay at the heart of the city closer to shopping places, Metro station, etc.

I have always enjoyed my stay at Grand by GRT as your staff is warm and professional. This time was no different. I complement you on an excellent and highly motivated staff.
Only this time my room was changed twice over three days and when my things were packed yesterday and moved from 701 to 401 they misplaced my razor, foam bottle and hair brush.

The stay was pleasant, the room was quite comfortable and spacious. Room service was good - the room cleaned on both days that I was there. Bathroom and toilets are well maintained.
Breakfast is one of the highlights - excellent spread and some of the dishes were very tasty. The bakery was a delight for the kids.
A couple of minor issues that I would like to highlight:
1. Although rooms are no-smoking, I could get the smell of tobacco in them. Room service had used air fresheners to hide the tobacco odour.
2. Water pressure in the bathroom showers and wash basin was quite low (not unmanageably low but could have been better). This may have been because we were on the 9th floor. Maybe a pressure pump would help address this issue.
The stay was very pleasant and we would definitely want to stay here during future visits.

The staff were all friendly helpful and keen to assist from reception to house service to dining and travel services. Chefs were always coming round to see there was something else we would like. Food was lovely and good variety especially as we are vegetarians. Taking travel from the hotel was the same price as outside sometimes cheaper and great location to travel from. Overall a pleasant trip

Sorry for the late reply.
The hotel is in T-Nagar the most famous shopping street.
There are all kinds of eateries around the hotel. Fast food and local eateries.
But after breakfast at Grand Chennai, you wont be looking for any place to eat for the rest of the day.
Solution...visit the Hotel Gym!!
After checkout luggage can be kept in our cloak room if collected in same day or few hours and no charges will be collected.

I've stayed in business class and grand club rooms, both of which were good. The suites are probably the most expensive but also the best choice.
