Rooms are very poor and basic, bathrooms even worse. Staff could have been for polite. Breakfast was good. There is definitely more nicer hotels on Lanta to choose from for this price. Ps. we brought one glass from the room to the beach restaurant and they charged us for the glass (!!)

This is a nice but not great hotel. The rooms are ok but the sliding door locks didn’t work. The hotel is a bit older and could use some updating. The pool is wonderful and the beach is very very nice. We had dinner at a restaurant on the beach just past our hotel and it was very good and the sunsets on the beach are fantastic. The town is not much to speak of and not inviting to walk around. The hotel to ferry transfer was not there in the morning to take us to the ferry. This is an included item with our stay but we ended up having to hire a tuk tuk to get there on time. Disappointing. The hotel desk said they often forget to pick people up. Apparently they did show up 1/2 late which would have made us late for the ferry. It is done through Viator which is surprising because we’ve used them all over the world and they’ve been very good.

We loved our stay here. The beach is amazing and the resort is great. Staff are super helpful and hardworking, and it's clear that a lot of time, care, and attention is put into maintenance and operations. Our ground level garden room was very nice, though it's time to upgrade the bathrooms. The pool is beautiful. Great bar onsite. Lots of options for breakfast, and the choices were quite typical for a Thai resort. Would happily return.

nice place , but we refuse the first rooms because very very close from the main road and on another side border by car park. After negotiation we got rooms in the main building but very noisy because on the road side . Not a real commercial attitude as all hotel was empty and all the rooms on swimming pool side were empty. shower not working properly .

Hi, I booked here for two days to see if it was an ok place to stay. The rooms were in 90s colours, but the main problem was the bathroom. there was not even a holder for the toilet paper and just av drain in the floor and a curtain. I left after less then 24h. Wifi was poor

First impressions; pool was nice Bad points - this will take a while! Dated rooms, poor facilities, dirty stained towels, to name just a couple! They over booked us, we were out in the main building with dark rooms, very poor facilities (not even hot water at times) only one plug socket which had your fridge in. Dangerous wiring & yellow sheets & towels. We had checked reviews etc before we booked & the so called owners were no where to be seen - I don’t know how so many people even mentioned them in their reviews. The nicest & happiest staff were the Indonesian lads who run the bar - very attentive but they ran out of all soft drinks including water daily! The massage ladies were lovely too. Pictures do not show the majority of the rooms, just a select couple, cleaners did there best but even they did a very ‘basic’ clean - did not take dirty glasses away. Walls to these rooms were horrendously thin, AC was noisy & looked like it had been installed in the 1970’s. By Thai standards this hotel was by no means cheap or expensive but you would get better cleanliness at a hostel. In summary - good points - Indonesian lads on work experience & Thai massage ladies were lovely. Pool was nice when you got a chance to swim it sit by it Bad points - VERY dated, poorly run, dirty, spend your money elsewhere. Absolutely no money going back into the business to bring into this decade.

We stayed in ‘low season’ and this was the excuse we were given for everything we couldn’t get on arrival or throughout the stay. O complimentary coffee/tea water on arrival was told had to wait till next day. No place to buy a cold drink on arrival it seems shop is closed in low season staff had to run around trying to find keys to open a locked fridge to provide us a cold drink after a long journey that we paid for I might add. Mosquitoes although likely no fault of the resort but they were horrific and huge, so big they splatter blood everywhere if you kill them. Coils and covered in mosquito repellant those suckers were still relentless and made it unpleasant enjoying time on the deck of the room. Breakfast below average only set breakfast again probably ‘low season’. Pool was the saving grace of this hotel amazing. Reception staff expressed there dislike of us with their body language and eye rolls when we complained about a few things. Do not book a standard bungalow it’s on the main road away from the pool and sea view, you look at a building and back in to a busy road - pictures on booking websites may trick you in thinking you get a view of pool or sea. Only 3 other guests in the resort we requested an upgrade due to unfair advertising they refused. We had paid 4 nights but were only staying 3 (so essentially 1 night they got off) and they still made us pay the upgrade despite the resort being completely empty and in all our disappointment again service was poor and they didn’t care about the happiness of their guests. Room clean was slow each day. The young boy training in the kitchen/breakfast service was an absolute delight and made our breakfast each morning such a pleasant and lovely young boy and was sure to tell us he was training every morning. I definitely would not stay here again if your open for business then low season should not be an excuse to not provide guests with everything you would expect especially when the rates were still as high as normal. however would absolutely return to ko Lanta a beautiful island.

The andaman lanta resort is right on the beach, which is not suitable for swimming because of rocks. For swimming you have to walk about 300 meters to the right on the beach. We were 4 nights here. Our room was down to the noisy street. We could not use the balcony, because the air conditioning was there with the hot air. The Anadaman Lanta Resort has no beachfront sunbeds. There is no shadow either. The pool is nice. There are too few umbrellas and there is no pad for the sunbeds. On these sunbeds you can lie at most one hour, then it becomes really uncomfortable. Otherwise the hotel was clean, the bathroom was a bit moldy. The breakfast was ok. For the price there are definitely better hotels in the area.

We had a beautiful pool view cottage that we thoroughly loved but we had to move to an ocean review which seems amazing but beware! No privacy whatsoever! Restaurant /bar is right beside your cottage. We had a very noisy group who wouldn’t leave even though the place closed at 9:30. The concept of a quiet ocean view is very deceiving!
