I had booked this resort for night stay but this is even not advisable for night stay! I booked this hotel for over night and struggled with every thing. No water, dirty bathroom etc. All staff here are bangladeshi and it looks only we were in that hotel that day. Next day was first day of ramzaan, so they starved us for breakfast even when there were some grocery stores open, they told us that they cannot provide us with breakfast. That too when i asked them about breakfast, can you imagine? They don't even have a TV and wifi for which they charge for! good luck if you have booked your stay here :-)

This hotel may looks like fancy from outside. However, this is so far the worst hotel I ve stayed in this city. Rooms and bath room looks terrible. Nothing in the minibar. The front desk staff doesnt care about the guests. I do not recommend this place for a comfortable stay

The hotel is okay, rooms are clean for Male standards. The fridge does not work and the bathroom are old and rundown but clean . They are renovating now from the 8th floor downwards. The night receptionist does not speak much English. The day receptionist is friendly and speaks English. The hotel has not much occupancy. Just to sleep at night it just about gets the job done.

Quality and clean like zero. Breakfast so bad and poor. The staff never clean the rooms. Difficult to arrive. Animals like mosquitoes and beatles in the room. The first day i come i found a roll of toilet paper used and nearly finished. Nothing else?

We visited this place to have Chinese food for Dinner. However they did not serve food saying that the chef is away when we saw her cooking for the guests across us. At first we thought they were busy and did not attend. Later we came to know that they did not like the way one of us dresses. Shame on these people.

I expected to be disappointed going by the reviews here but the room was spacious and comfortable though the smell in the washroom was rather unpleasant. Some tea/coffee sachets in the room would have been welcome. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were happy to call taxis whenever needed and even provided a chaperone to and from an ATM several streets away. The breakfast provided was adequate for those with a tiny appetite though they were happy to replenish items. The dining staff may intend to be attentive but being watched as you eat can be a bit unnerving. The WiFi connection was very good and highly appreciated as my operator did not offer a reasonable roaming service.

I stayed at Coral hotel on a work trip. It was the second time I have been to Malé so it wasn’t so important to me where I stayed as there are no long distances in this city. Coral is clean, the rooms are basic, the staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed in a superior room (the cheapest). I was satisfied with the value for money I got. It is a small room and there is little space for anything besides the double bed, bedside desk and cupboard and small fridge – note even a medium sized travel bag. The bathroom is adequate. The room shares a lounge and small balcony with one other room, which creates more space. The restaurant on the top floor has a decent view over Male and I spent some time there during the rain. At Coral’s prices you cannot expect much at a hotel in Male. I think the more expensive rooms are considerably more comfortable. Male is not the sort of place you go where one spends much time at a hotel there and this hotel is not a comfortable place of refuge. But it is totally adequate if you are passing through. It is not in the best end of town, but through a little bit of exploring I found some nice restaurants nearby. The restaurants on Male geared towards the tourists are on the other end of the island from Coral. It is a short walk to the ferry to the Villingilli island which is quiet and has some nice restaurants on the beach. The breakfasts at Coral are dismal. Totally dismal – 3 slices of white bread, a cooked sausage, jam and some water. The bathroom was clean, but the tap was rusty and the tiles have black marks from wear – these are just aesthetic, but it doesn’t create a nice impression. I stayed for 3 nights and no one came into my room to clean it or change the linen during that time. If I had stayed one night I would not have noticed that. I have given this place 3 stars because it was just fine (and they never cleaned my room). If you happy with basic and looking for somewhere to stay for one night, then I recommend this place – most people who stayed there when I was there stayed for one night only.

Badly managed, receptionist on check-is was clueless to advise if they had our reservation which was booked through Agoda. Double rooms have only one towel, bathrooms need to be re-done, looks unclean. Breakfast is a dump.. Boiled egg, 3 slices of break with a dap of jam on your plate and 01 butter with 01 sausage cut into 3 pieces. This is no way to treat a guest who has paid good money.

I have visited this place from 2012 to 2014 and the service and the standards were really good but during my current visit the standards have dropped drastically. The first downfall was the mini bar it was empty and added to that it wasn't even working. When I complained to the reception they said ok and that was it and at breakfast today 14-5-2016 we were served a sausage cut in to three a bit of jam and butter and three slices of bread and also not to forget a spoilt egg pics have been attached. And when we complained they just took it away no apologies or nothing and at that time there wasn't a manager in the hotel. Later a guy came who called himself the manager but no apologies he said it was only one egg and wanted to know if I wanted a omelette.... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if it was the last place on earth
