The owner of this hotel helped me through a terrible bind when I lost my passport. I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s a lovely house. The rooftop is beautiful. Bergama is a wonderful place to visit. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to come back

Me and a friend od mine stayed there in may and everything was great. Especially the terrace at the sunset time. The host was helpful and rooms very confortable. Beautiful old house with a high ceiling and full-equiped kitchen, good breakfast, clean... So anything you could expect from a guesthouse. Please dont forget to be at the place before the sunset. Dont miss the old city view....

We stayed 2 nights in June to visit Pergamon and loved this place and would have liked to stay longer. The whole experience was so nice we would go out of our way to stay there again. The owner was incredibly pleasant, interesting and efficient. We didn't arrive until 2 am (it's an easy drive from Izmir but the plane was late) but he was still very welcoming. The guesthouse itself is very clean and stylish. Our suite was quiet and comfortable and the whole of the top floor is devoted to a guest sitting room, kitchen you can use all day and a beautiful little vine covered terrace which overlooks the hills and Pergamon itself. It's on the edge of the atmospheric old town and had a great restaurant at the bottom of the road. We'd heavily recommend Asclepius as well as Pergamon as a site to visit and we heavily recommend the Odyssey guesthouse as a place to stay

We showed up at the Odyssee guesthouse and were lucky to have a nice host welcoming and accomodating our family. We were going to stay two nights but we liked the place so much that we stayed an extra two nights. The guesthouse was very quiet because of the low season. We had the whole place pretty much to ourselves. We really enjoyed cooking our meals in the well equipped kitchen upstairs. The view from the upstairs kitchen, living room and terrace is breathtaking. You can see the Acropolis, the Red basilica and the town. A great view in every direction. It was nice to prepare dinner and watch the sunset. Our host was very nice and laid back. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the place, the filtered water, the extra warm blankets, and the access to tea in the morning. The place is well located, we could walk to the Acropolis and the restaurants and cafe. It is a nice family friendly place and we definitely recommend it.

A friend recommended Odyssey to me and I'm thrilled she did. This historic Greek/Aegean style home was my homebase for exploring what is now my favorite city in Turkey, Bergama. Comfortable, clean and dripping with charm, from the atmospheric neighborhood to the decorative touches throughout the place. And the coffeemaker and A/C are BIG plusses. I knew I would be happy here and I was right! Ersin will make sure that you have everything you need. There was no breakfast service, sadly, which was due to the lack of guests. But,a super little kitchen awaits where you can prep your own kahvalti and enjoy on the grapevine-laden terrace :) It's definitely worth the time and effort to come to Bergama - classic Ege/Aegean warmth and friendliness coupled with the archaeological treasures make it a perfect destination. Highly recommend!

I stayed one night and it's very close to the Acropolis. The shared room (twin room) was very cozy and spotless clean room. - bathroom has a great hot shower, very clean and enough space to hang up your clothes. liquid soap. kitchen spotless clean. great if you wanna cook your meal by yourself. breakfast is 15tl. I found it a bit expensive. beside jam, salad, bred etc I only got one egg even I asked for two. nice balcony with amazing view to the basilica and city in general. the owner is very reserved what i felt a bit uncomfortable about. he didn't come to the door to say goodbye just said bye from the room where he was busy. a bit impolite. But he speaks good English and is very friendly and hospitable. some people don't like bergama. or the location of this guesthouse. I recommend if you like old run down houses what you see around and a life like years ago and you are interested in archaeological sites plus being active a bit, then Bergama is the right place for you. if you search for the thing to do you will find it. I was at the end of season, it was windy and cold, but I really enjoyed it. not many tourists. it's one of my favourite places of Turkey.

This property is a gorgeous 4 story old-style Greek house. The house is beautifully furnished. There is a rooftop terrace up the top with views over the town. The location is very convenient and close for the Acropolis and red basilica. Within the house there is a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area upstairs. Downstairs there is a huge book exchange where you can make a swap. I had the whole place to myself when I stayed and it was outstanding, the owner was available by pressing the doorbell but staying elsewhere (very nearby) with his family. The owner speaks very good English. I had my worst nightmare come to life in Bergama. I lost my passport for about 26 hours. The owner of this hostel went to extreme lengths to help me and I eventually got my passport back. I honestly cannot fault this hostel, if you are in Bergama, this is the place to stay
