We got a one bedroom suite plus another room. Our suite had recently been remodeled. It was spacious , clean, tastefully furnished. All kitchen utensils, bathroom towels, sheets were exceptionally clean and very high quality. The hotel is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The two rooms we had could easily accommodate 4 people.. The manager was very kind and attentive. And the price we paid for all this was much lower than other comparable apart- hotels we checked. If I ever go to Kemer area I will definitely not waste time checking other hotels and go straight to Orange Garden.

On arrival no spoken English staff, got to the room it smelt very bad, not cleaned, flees in the room, black foot marks on the sheets. Someone else dirty laundry left in room that stunk... booked as bed and breakfast no info on breakfast nothing. Went down to speak to the management couldn’t understand me said if I’m Dutch then no problem.. didn’t do anything to help me. Felt out of my comfort zone shocking and dirty avoid at all costs... not close to beach and down the back streets I checked out the next Morning it was that bad. Shocking

I specifically requested (when first booked) no top floor (as person i was with has C.O.P.D. arrived and was put in a tiny apartment (3 of us sharing) on the top floor. As it was late at night there was no manager available to speak to and the other 2 staff did not speak english. Unable to unpack as we needed to be moved again. Next day the manager came and we got moved to a bigger apartment on the middle floor. I found the manager to be quite rude and he hardly spoke to us for the rest of the stay. Many times he passed by and did not say morning or afternoon. When waiting for my transfer times to go up on the wall, i was told this would happen the day before travelling (this has never been the case before). Still nothing came through and i was told i would need to call someone. After adding extra credit to my phone, i managed to get my times...with no help from the manager. The room i eventually settled in was clean, tidy and spacious. The wifi is awful and hardly connects. Notices are up in the rooms that if you get hair dye on the towels you will be charged for this. The air con hardly worked and didnt let out very cold air, gave up on it in the end. The apartments are situated only 5 minutes from local amenities. There was also a gym (fitness centre) less than 10mins away which is a must for me. Kemer itself is pretty but i found it quite boring after day 6. I dont know how true this is but felt it needed to be mentioned just incase, another couple stated they had booked an excursion with the hotel manager and payed a few hundred lira and they was trying to get their money back but was having problems. This same excrsion was offered for a fraction of the price at the tourist excursion shops. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Hi thanks for your comment. When you arrivel to our hotel you want to move middle floor and we arrange it for you. you were so happy. When we learn transfer information from agency we contact to our guests. If the agency will send me late, it is not our mistake. We have a very nice wi-fi connection if your phone have a problem with connection please check your phone. Airconditions are working well but you were wanted like car aircontions. Rooms airconditions are not working like car airconditions. if you get hair dye on the towels, Ofcourse we have to charged for this. Because we're throwing away unclean towels. Have a nice day... Kind Regards Sinan Ulusan Management

When we ( myself, husband, 17 year son, 17 year old son’s friend, 15 year old son and 6 year old daughter) arrived at Orange garden apartments late Friday night I thought I’d made a terrible mistake booking this hotel………… but I was so wrong and it ended being one of the best family holidays we have ever had! We go to Turkey every year usually staying at one of the typically large all-inclusive hotels, I decided this year we would try something different and go for bed and breakfast in a smaller hotel. Yes the Orange Garden’s rooms are basic, yes the pool is small and in the shade and yes the breakfast is very simple, but it meant we didn't have to fight for sunbeds, had the pool to ourselves, I didn't have to worry about the kids getting sunburnt whilst in the water and didn't have to fight in line for poor quality food, which is our usual experience in large AI hotels. We weren't surrounded by heavily tattooed smokers, didn't get pestered by annoying animation team members and not once did we hear the dreaded phrase……. “mini disco” !!! Instead we spent our days leisurely round the pool enjoying the gorgeous weather, watching the kids playing in the water and listening to their laughter. Halfway into the first full day, my eldest son said it felt like a proper family holiday as we were all together, messing about in the water having quality family time! That’s why this ended up being the best holiday we have had. I know for a fact that had we stayed in a large AI hotel the older kids would have wondered off to do their own thing, probably wouldn't have gone in the pool and probably would only have seen them at meal times! Kemer is lovely place to go, the people are amazingly friendly. We ate out every night and for the 6 of us, plus drinks we very rarely spent over 300 lira. We probably spent the same on this holiday as we would have done going AI but without the crowds, the queuing, the watered down drinks in plastic cups and the poor quality, canteen style eating experiences. We will never go AI again and would encourage everyone to support smaller, family run hotels like Orange Garden, the owners were very friendly, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a great holiday.

2nd worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. Has a pool but at this time of year it is only in the sun for a small part of the day, usable but freezing. We used the beach instead, the sea was a lot warmer but daily charge for beds & umberella. There 2 beaches either side of a marina, great fun to watch boats going in and out. Lighting to apartment (2nd floor), stairs and landings poor as the majority of lights were out. Following torrential rain, landings flooded and as not mopped up made footing treacherous that afternoon and worse at night. Sheets changed once in 2 weeks after 9 nights, towels changed twice after 5 & 7 nights. We tried the bar our first afternoon but they had no beer. They went across the road to supermarket for a couple of bottles only for us to discover no gin in fact very little spirits so we didn't bother again. Electric shower due to time of year which filled up with smoke whilst in use. Initially told just to switch it back on again but after pursuing the matter with the manager we were told no other rooms available, we discovered next day at least 2 were empty. He said nothing could be done until the next night and disconnected the electric and put the shower on solar. The water was stone cold as that had been the day of torrential rain, thunder and lightning. Said it would be warm in a couple of hrs but it was already dark! Said no alternative facilities were available but when we enquired at the end of our holiday re extension of the room pm we were advised there was a courtesy shower room! Self catering but only one ring, one pan and very little crockery or cutlery. We ate out for the whole fortnight. On a plus note free wifi although they kept changing the password without telling anyone! The accommodation is very close to lots of bars and restaurants, supermarket and other shops. There is also a fabulous weekly market, massive. We will go back to Kemer again which we found delightful but will be staying elsewhere.

Hi, Reviews are very valuable to better serve you. But no one forget that, unfair post a review, shows the value you give to people. When you come to my hotel, start to complain. We have a solar energy system. We all have electric heaters in the room. All rooms have kitchen utensils available. It also as an extra kitchen supplies if needed. FREE  Our cleaning lady is working everyday in our hotel. You've ruined my electric heater. You said your room smell smoke, so we take you to another room. The last days of the season we close the restaurant. We didnt said our restaurant is closed. you wanted beer and we bring from supermarket. Our apartments is refreshing with everything new airconditions, a refrigerator, 1500 tv channel paints, chairs, beds and kitchen supplies. But we are not 4-5 stars hotels. Kind Regards Orange garden apartments

Rooms were basic (very very little cooking equipment and we only had one knife and one mug when we arrived) but relatively clean. Nice views of the mountains too. The real downsides were the noise at night from local hotels and the fact that the hotel reception and bar / restaurant was often completely bereft of any staff. Also, we were there in Sept but the weather was still very hot and the optional extra of air conditioning (costs about £25 per week) was more of a necessity due to the noise issue (the Macarena at full volume at 3am on our first night, less than ideal). This meant that having doors/ windows open just wasn't an option. Corridor lighting was minimal / inoperative so be careful on way out / home at night.. I know it's a cheap and cheerful kind of place but it just wasn't great. We ran out of hot water in our shower a couple of nights and the guy on reception said he'd come and fix it, then forgot and was in the middle of his dinner when we went back after 15 mins of waiting in a towel. Also we had a complete powercut at about 9pm /10pm one night for around an hour and there was no-one around at all to speak with. Reception was deserted and no emergency lighting came on so stairways etc were pitch black. Towards the end of our stay, we had to visit reception about 5-6 times to get hold of someone who could tell us what time our return transfer was going to be. Reviews regarding sun around the pool are fairly accurate, not a lot of space to sunbathe if that's your thing but you can get free tickets for the beachbeds. Beach is probably a 15-20 min walk. The pool had a plastic bag at the bottom of it for several days and the small foot / child pool had lots of grit / rubbish in the bottom. I ended up throwing emplty bottles left on the poolside away myself as they were there for days. Kemer itself was clean, friendly, has lots of restaurants and bars and the beach was nice but it is all quite new and there are lots and lots of shops so it would suit some people more than others.
