Had a very good experience of stay and food in Regency. Staff were very courteous. I had taken my aged father and hence got wheelchair assistance as well. The rooms are quite spacious. Got complimentary cookies as well. Not sure if it was because of a busy week due to medical conference the prices were at the costlier side.

I am a regular customer at Regency GRT Hotel Madurai. I stayed at the hotel for 3 days from 8th to 10th of September 2023. I had booked 4 rooms for my Family members. We were welcomed in an excellent manner, staff at the reception were very polite and friendly. The rooms were as usual neat and clean and the house keeping staff were excellent. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was good. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed Sheriff - General Manager for making our stay a very memorable and comfortable one. I would also like to mention Mr.Thandes, Ms. Sagoti and Ms.Gowsalya at the front desk, Mr.Vishnu and Mr.Rajaram at the restaurant and the pastry chef for their service.

The rooms are slightly old but comfortable. The sleep quality was good. We were accommodated in the smoking wing and the smell of cigarette smoke was drifting in from some adjacent room. The food in the restaurant was good and so was the breakfast spread. Biggest letdown is the entrance to the hotel. A flyover starting there hides the entrance. The roads in the vicinity are in a bad state. Sufficient open parking space is available on one side of the property.

Worst experience , will be my last choice hereafter To begin with Room was not even ready but was offered key . Room cleaning was in progress when I went to the room. Had no hand towels and had to ask for it. 5/6 sockets didn’t work for charging my mobile and the circuit breaker tripped when connected on one of the socket, and technician who came to fix it justifies that it has been damaged as it is multi-pin socket , it was just not maintained properly and could easily feel the socket loose when inserting. Ordered room service and after 45 mins only give discovered that they didn’t indicate the order to the kitchen for food preparation. Night room service took 40mins just for Gulab jamoon with ice cream Toilet basin were stained and bath shower areas titles are worn out…

Excellent stay including good food good ambiance in room and elsewhere polite and friendly staff . Spacious lobby and corridors clean and airy atmosphere. Clean swimming pool and usefull exercise area and spa and parking is also easy
