Hotel Lero garners appreciation for its spotless rooms and facilities, often highlighted by guests for the attentive housekeeping. The staff's friendly and professional service also frequently earns praise, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that includes pleasant bar areas and live music. While the hotel's location is lauded for its convenience, opinions on value are mixed; some guests find transportation costs reasonable, but others are less impressed with the dining options and service pricing. Room experiences vary, with cleanliness and comfort being praised, but some guests point out issues with size and design.

We stayed in the hotel for seven days in February 2024. We had a classic room and half board. An average-sized room with a sea view, well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, and the pillows are too soft for me. Bed linen is changed every third day and towels every day. The room is cleaned every day. The rooms and bathroom are extremely clean. In the room, the equipment for preparing coffee or tea is also clean (without limescale). The food in the restaurant is buffet-style, with a large selection of delicious dishes (of course, what it is is indicated above each one). Due to the smaller number of guests, several nights there was a menu dinner where you also had quality dishes offered. The staff is extremely friendly. Special thanks to Milena and Neđad. You can buy a Dubrovnik Pass card at the hotel. The location of the hotel is fantastic. In a few minutes you are in the Old Town or in the port of Gruž. The bus station is a minute from the hotel. Free parking is available within the hotel. Of course, the outdoor pool did not work, but they say that an indoor pool with a spa center is also being prepared. Many thanks to Hotel Lero.

We stayed as a couple for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is well managed. Room was good, clean and well equipped, with a fridge. There are numerous nationalities using the hotel, always a good sign. It was around 20 to 30 minutes gentle walk to the old town, partly along the coastline and relatively flat. There are small shops nearby and on the way to buy water, drinks, snacks etc. the pool is nice enough to refresh after a day out, or to lounge by for a while. Nothing special but does the job. Breakfast was buffet style with loads of choice. We filled up before heading out for the day We did not eat at the hotel in the evening. We tended to find somewhere in the old town and wandered back to the hotel afterwards. We felt perfectly safe and there were plenty of other tourists about. We recommend using Uber if you need transport to the airport or ferry port. All in all a nice base to visit Dubrovnik and recommended

The hotel is well located, old city is accessible by feet (20/30 min) and bus (5 min). The rooms are comfortable and well equiped. We had an additionnal bed for the child in our room. Staff was available and helpfull. It is possible to book excursions directly at the hotel. They organized a birthday party with a small cake and a crown for our 5 year old daughter. Transfer from the airport is also proposed by the hotel. Food at the buffet of the restaurant was various, with a lot of choice and tasty. Everyone liked it. A good surprise : swimming pool was opened even if it was indicated as closed on the hotel website. To conclude, this journey was a total success !

The hotel is great Staff very good all ok except the restaurant. If you are looking for a nice eating experience I would not suggest you use the Buffett in the hotel. We went in at 8 pm most of the food was gone and not replenished . The staff did not really want anyone that late . The food was lacklustre and not very hot . We had a meal in the piano bar and it was excellent so I would say it’s the staffs fault in the restaurant and not the chefs . Hope this helps you if you are considering a stay in this hotel

Well placed for location to enjoy all of Dubrovnik area, whether walking or using local buses which stop nearby. Spacious room with decent ensuite. Lots of storage space. Spotless. Very helpful and friendly staff teams. Buffet for breakfast and evening meal was plentiful, varied and well presented. The swimming pool is a wonderful space to relax and unwind around. The pool was clean and so good to cool off in from the heat of the day on return to the hotel from trips out. The choice of excursions through the Hotel Concierge Desk were reasonably priced too in comparison to Jet 2 offerings. If you have an early morning start, speak to the person on this desk or at reception to see if you can get chance of something in place of eating in at restaurant times as there is a no food to be taken out of restaurant policy.

We were very happy staying at this hotel! The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating! We loved the breakfast buffet. We had to leave very early (5 am) on our last day so the front desk arranged breakfast to go for us! On our first night we went for dinner in the restaurant (not the buffet) and were really disappointed in the service. We aren’t demanding at all but found the staff more interested in socializing with each other than serving customers! Our room was great, they even had bathrobes and slippers! I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Lero!

What a wonderful Hotel in a really good location. Spend seven nights in Hotel Lero and the service and attention to detail was second to none. We ate in the Hotel a few times and the food was excellent. Had a minor issue with our room but reported this and was sorted very promptly. Cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough, simply wonderful.

Just returned from a week in Hotel Lero. Having read previous reviews we were hoping all would go well ,it did. Travelling with my husband who has sight issues and a teen daughter who needs gluten-free free can be challenging but this hotel met every need. The rooms are well appointed, and an executive room with three of us was comfortable and didn't feel cramped. There was even ample wardrobe space. The hotel is well situated to walk or take the bus into the old town and back. It could get busy but was fine in October. The hotel has a pleasant piano bar and nice bar menu, with good service and a sea view over the road. There is a pool but we didn't use this. It is enclosed by the hotel building and often in shade but was pleasant to look out over. Definitely an adult older children/teen pool. Food was very good breakfast had good choice and the evening meals generally good. We found the food better when more local dishes were cooked. Shout out especially to the great chef who talked my daughter though the safe GF options and always found her a special desert , and the older lady waitress who despite being very busy always offered to carry my husband's coffee or food if he went to eat breakfast before us and made sure a table in a set area was free so he could find it. The hotel does cater for alot of tour parties so can get busy. I wouldn't class it as a resort hotel but if you want a comfortable exceptionally clean and well located base to explore Dubrovnik I would recommend Lero and its helpful , friendly staff who make it a great place to stay

Excellent hotel. Clean rooms, lovely staff, nice bar to eat in. Very convenient for old city. 15 minute walk downhill. We got the bus back which were frequent. I would certainly use the hotel for a few days in Dubrovnik.
