The accommodations were fine, The staff was excellent. For a hotel of this category, however, I found the buffet breakfast below what I would have expected. Dinner, however, was very good. Overall, a good experience.

Dated and not 5 star. Internet was bad in room so had to sit outside. The bathroom was small. Its expensive for what you get. I would not recommend as this is apparently a 5 star hotel.. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is really nice, the staff is one of the friendliest I found in my travel through Peru, and the food was really good. It's a bit cold, but they provided us with a heater and offered us extra blankets.

Located in a quiet neighborhood. This hotel is approximately 20-30 minutes walk from the plaza. I was initially impressedwith the surrounding. And it has 5 Star ⭐️ in front. The style is early Hispanic. Color is light orange that is typical with houses in Spain. There is also a fountain in the courtyard. The room is not so big. Bath tub/ shower stall is quite small Pros: location is quiet INTERNET IS FAST. WIFI available inside the room Cons:: hotel is located approximately 20-30 min away from Plaza de Armas. ( slow walk) It doesn’t have kettle in the room for tea or coffee Dining room opens late (6am) not good for early travelers. Although they would make a packed breakfast.

I spent a night at El Cabildo hotel durong my long tour around Peru' following my impressions: - boutique style hotel not too big and not noisy as it is located a km far from the central main square and shopping street/area in the middle of a residential area, basic but well equipped rooms and bathroom, we stayed for dinner and I have to say it's been one of our best meals ever during the whole stay in Peru', a particularly liked the grilled vegetables and the chicken soup and the table right next to the restaurant fire place which was much appreciated seen the cold night, all in all a very good value for money but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to those aiming to stay within a short walk from the central square and shopping street.

The hotel has a third floor sundeck which has sun most of the day. The restaurant is overlooked by a large hanging garden with multi-coloured flowers and hummingbirds which gives it a great ambiance. The restaurant has a speciality of a beef and chesses stuffed pepper with shepherds pie. Great if you like hot (spicy) food. The rooms are a generous size with firm beds.

Hotel was old style & very basic. Room was quite small with very limited space for luggage. Only one stand for a suitcase and one chair. Two bed lights controlled by a single wall switch. Door lock was primitive. The room safe was extremely small and it too had a very primitive mechanical lock. Clients need to ask reception for the safe key & sign for it. Only one power point available for charging appliances unless fridge is unplugged. Room very quiet. Dinner of Onion soup and a steak, were excellent as was breakfast. Staff pleasant & helpful. Hotel was some 20 minutes walk from the main square.

Decent comfortable hotel but not worth the 5 stars that it has. Rooms are pretty old and beds not very comfy and breakfast buffet a little limited. Nevertheless friendly staff and for a short stay does the job. Ask for a room with a view - I could only see a wall in front of the window.
