Instead of 4 nights, I only spent one, because the room is very dirty. I checked in late and the light in the room is very dim, even with this light, it was clear that the pillows were dirty, pillows were replaced at request. There was no drinking water in the room. The shower worked poorly and leaked. Near the hotel there is a road along which many cars pass, the street is quite noisy and the closed window cannot cope with this noise, it is loud in the room. Also, I could not fully use the air conditioner, it was impossible to change the temperature and power, it also made a strange noise and smell. It was stuffy! In the morning, when the room became light enough, other minuses of the room became visible. I have attached photographs of the number that I took in the morning. The manager told me that this is the norm and that I have not seen other hotels, that his hotel is not a hospital (damn it?). The staff is not welcoming. P.S. For the same money, you can find a much better hotel in the same location.

The location was great although during the day the buses tend to stop and drop off passengers which holds up traffic therefore a lot of horn noise and in the morning you have call to prayer to wake you - which you would have no matter where you stay in Istanbul. We booked the economy room which is located right behind reception (we knew this on booking). We had some noise on the Saturday night from the restaurant located under the window but very little on Sunday night which was a lot quieter. The room was a good size with a great rain shower and everything worked well. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful - especially the elderly man! The location was excellent. We walked everywhere - Grand Bazaar, Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Galatea Bridge. There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There is a 24hr taxi service across the road which was handy at 5am. We would stay here again.

I loved this hotel - so close to all the major attractions plus dozens of restaurants and shops on the doorstep for the evening. It was immaculate and clean , super bedroom and bathroom with fabulous view of the Bosporus River. The staff were friendly and helpful. Terrific buffet breakfast!

I stayed in two different rooms, each of them lovely! The level of service was far beyond what one could expect of a small family hotel! The family who run the Eternity are such kind people who did so much to make me feel welcome in their hotel. I had knee surgery two months ago and have been using a cane and, without my ever asking, they repeatedly helped me with my luggage on the stairway. The lovely and generous young woman who runs the desk and manages the place was an angel to me! She speaks English remarkably well. She helped me to find trustworthy taxis and not be ripped off, as had happened on other occasions. She thoughtfully recommended to me the best restaurants in the area for my tastes and she gave me detailed directions to all of the places to visit, and when, and how to go. I have visited Istanbul several times before, but I will not stay anyplace else in the future!

Thank you very much for your review First off all as it was mentioned we provide water at the day of the check in as complimentary.Unfortunately not every time you wish to have during your stay.We also have a minibar fridge in all the rooms with resonable prices. Also we gave you an upgrade and early check in without any cost since you have mentioned it is urgent for you to check in. There are some certain amount of beverage or any other amenity we provide for free everyday unfortunately since this is not a whole inclusive hotel-even if it was that would depend on the reservation you make of course Hope you find a place to your liking on next time Thank you Natalie

How do I start this? Overall, I liked the hotel. The room was big and AC was ok. It was clean and modern. Maybe the shower was a bit too modern for me, as it requires some skill to make it work and make sure you don’t flood the bathroom when you’re in. Breakfast was simple but sufficient and the fresh fruit bar was an important part of it. The hotel is basically located near the entrance for the Topkapi museum, behind Agia Sofia. So, very convenient for sightseeing. But bring your ear buds because there is a taxi station in front and tourist buses come and go all day/night long on the small street where the hotel is. One more interesting feature is the small mosque in front of the hotel. You simply can’t avoid knowing when it is prayer time. But after the first day, we got used to it.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Very clean, relatively new decor. I had a top floor room with a great view from the balcony over the Bosphorus. Balcony could do with a lick of paint ;) You literally walk out the door and your at the 3 or 4 major tourist attractions, you couldn't get a better location. and there's a taxi rank outside the door if you need to travel. Plus a very low key street of bars and restaurants literally next door. The staff were very friendly and attentive, same faces each day and it gives the place a nice homely feel. They're all Besiktas FC fans, so if you like football your in the right spot. The breakfast was okay, functional I would say.

We stayed for three nights as part of a long weekend break to Istanbul from London. The location is excellent close to all the sites around the Hagia Sophia and only metres away from both the Bosphorus and a whole host of excellent restaurants. The hotel itself is small but the staff are very friendly and speak good English and the rooms are fitted out to a high standard with comfortable beds and excellent showers (not to mention good A/C). Travel to and from Airport (IST) was straight forward and we enjoyed our stay. Price was good value too
