Spent there one night in December 2016. The hotel made a nice impression, the only problem is that it is located far from the center of the city. Room was clean and the neighbourhood is quiet. I guess I can recommend it. Do not expect any luxuries though.

This place is in the middle of no where. No transportation, food or nearby restaurants. We had a unsealed bottle of water, they did replace this with 3 bottles of sealed water. The room was not clean and we managed to order an overpriced pizza for £18. We booked 2 nights but checked out after one night. The owner was nice and dropped us to Thai embassy at a charge of 50,000 kip. This is not a place for tourists.

I spend one night at this hotel The hotel is really faraway from everything, I need more than one hr to find it by taxi, nobody was knowing the address. I arrived around 8 pm and I ask to call me a taxi to go into the city but they was not able to organize it. I decide to go to the main road near the hotel (10 minute walk) but was not able to find one. I come back to the hotel and was asking for some food but at 9 pm the housekeeper was sleeping. I ask to order a pizza or other kind of food but the guy at the reception was not able to find a delivery service for me. The only food I received was chips for the price of 18.000 K , that is a lot of money for Laos. Breakfast was included but the only think I received was a fried egg with old dry bread. When I checked out I have to wait 30 min. To have a taxi that was not a taxi but a guy with his wife... He need other 40 min. to understand an address in the center where my next hotel was. The room was not really clean and really loud due the fact that one floor down me was a laundry room washing stuff all night long. Not nice staff at all, unacceptable for a 3 star hotel. Don't book it is a trap !

Stayed 1 night here. Rooms are simple but clean. However, the location is a little far from the city and transportation is needed to get in and out. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast provided is simple but acceptable.

The double room we stayed is much bigger than the twin room, and both rooms are comfortable, quiet, and clean. The free breakfast buffet is great! The owner is very friendly and resolved all of our problems very fast. The location is a little bit far from city center, but they offer free driving to the downtown any time, you can take a tuc-tuc back, 15,000kip/person. You can also rent a motorbike in downtown, 60,000kip/day. CAUTION: There are lots of single ways in Vientiane, make sure you are clear which way you are going before the traffic lights. Polices are very corrupted there.

- Location: 5/10 in Sisavath Village, quite far away from city center, should have car/motorbike/bicycle for going around if you stay here. - Room: basic, old style. hot water, cable TV, air con., fridge,... - clean: 7/10 killed a Cockroach in room. - Sleep quality: 8/10 in quiet area, beside small lake, the pillows are not very comfortable. - Staff: 7/10 hospitality but cannot speak much English, except the manager - Service: 7/10 has van that can take guests to the city center free. airport/bus station pickup/drop off on arrival/departure free, cheap bus price (Vang Vieng - 40,000 LAK only) - breakfast: bread with omelet eggs, same for everyone and everyday. - Wifi is available around We took the tuktuk there for stay, left luggage in reception and take bus to Vang Vieng by ourselves, when we arrive North bus station and ask them bring our luggage and take us to the airport, $5 charged.

We stayed 2 nights in the Chaleunehoung hotel in February 2012. The location is far from the city center, but the price is very good provided the quality of the rooms and the service. The room was super clean and spacious. The bathroom was with hot water and offered all what an expensive hotel would offer. The bed was very comfortable! The owner was very nice and helpful, he offers free transport to downtown and recommended us places to rent bikes and book our next trips in Laos - he works together with the Soutchai agency and he does not take commission-. WIFI is provided and works very well. Breakfast is included, but it is the same every day - perhaps we should have just ordered something else -. We recommend this place if you wish to be in a nice and clean place and don't mind the distance to the city center.

Having stayed in a number of Vientiane Hotels over the last few years, I found this to be the best value for what you get and I had a very enjoyable stay. The one and only drawback is the location - but this in itself means that you're in a relatively quiet location with a pleasant view out over a small lake. Additionally, the location is more than compensated for by the big, clean rooms with good facilities and friendly staff. Breakfast is sufficient to set you up for your day, and there are good meals to be had from their kitchen later on if you don't feel like going out to eat. So just plan ahead with regards to daily travel to and from the hotel. They are very good at giving the occasional lift into town. For the rest of the time, perhaps hire out a bicycle/ motorbike or take their business card to show the tuk tuk where they are located.

After a 11 hr bus ride from Savannakhet our tuk tuk driver got lost trying to find this property. As other reviews state, it is relitively new so it's in good shape. Don't trust google maps as they do not show the alleys one must take to get here. The phone # is 856-21-213762-3 and the closest thing to an address is Sisavath Village. Room is large, sparkling clean and a tub in the bathroom. Linens are all fresh and newer. Food is average and we are able to communicate with the employees in English. Three WIFI chanels and our room was to far from the modem so had to settle in the lobby and still exxperienced difficulties? State monotoring??
