I like Hotel Aristocrat Inn. I strongly recommend it to your stay in Dhaka City. Safe location, friendly staff, and excellent services. The food in the restaurant which is at the 7th floor of the building is also delicious. The surrounding is very nice and quiet. You could walk to the nearby park and do some jogging. Staff here always greet you with big smiles.

I booked the hotel on 28-Sep via booking.com..... The sales executive sent me confirmation email... after 4 hour someone from the hotel called me and said- My booking is cancelled... WHY? because, they already reserved the room for another customer with better price... So, I turned on my laptop at midnight and started searching for another hotel via tripadvisor.... Really a bad experience from irresponsible hotel management...

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located and feels very safe, and the food from the restaurant was tasty. The room I was in did not have much natural light or air which wasn't great.

The hotel is located in one of the better localities of Dhaka, a residential area called Gulshan. Neat, clean and affordable, overall its good value for money. I stayed for about 7 nights and it was a ok experience. The rooms are spacious with attached bathrooms, neat and clean. The housekeeping is upto the mark. Good wifi too - with routers on each floors. Each floor has a side balcony where you can sit, relax and spend some time in the evening. The staff is a little funny. For most part they are extremely attentive and will attend to all your requests, till at some point they become just a wee bit over-solicitous. I got a feeling that they were angling for the extra buck, which was ok but then at some point I just wanted to have a quiet dinner by myself. But very helpful all in all. The owner and staff are a gracious lot and quick to help you. Food was a bit of a disappointment for me, breakfast was not terribly imaginative with you having to order a la carte and not a great deal of choice available But if you can put up with all that - it is a neat, clean and economical option!

My company placed me and two colleagues at this hotel because it is affordable and in a safe neighborhood. We stayed for 5 nights - though we would have left after the first night if we could. We stayed only because our meetings had been planned around the location of this hotel. But the Aristocrat Inn was a terrible experience! The water from the bathroom tap was brown. The rooms infested with mosquitos. There was construction going on so the rooms were full of dust. I came back after a long day of meetings to a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned. We were charged for the bottled water that was on the bedside table -- which in most hotels is free. The internet DIDN'T WORK! The bill was full of hidden charges -- we were told there would be no extra charge for airport pick-up and drop-off. There was. In addition there was an extra fee for the driver to hold up a sign with our names on it. The only redeemable quality of the place was that the staff was friendly -- though the manager could learn a thing or two from the professionalism of those that work for him. All in all -- avoid this hotel if you can. Its inexpensive, but the sacrifices are not worth it!

I stayed for two weeks at the Aristocrat Inn Hotel. My room was very comfortable, well furnished and clean. It had both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The Wifi was reliable. One of the major assets of the hotel was the staff. Every one was so helpful and willing to be of service. Breakfast every day was excellent with a mixture of western and local dishes. This is a good hotel, reasonably priced with a staff that are prepared to go the extra mile to assist. I would highly recommend it.

This is a family run hotel in quiet surroundings ! The rooms are clean and well maintained. The plus point is the restaurant which can whip up a customised meal at short notice. The behavior of the staff is really commendable and reflects positively on the Management's personal involvement. I would recommend this hotel to anyone proposing a short or extended stay in Dhaka.

Overall good value for what you pay. Not luxury accommodations, but rooms are spacious and clean. Pretty good restaurant with a big menu and food was prepared quickly. All of the staff are very friendly and willing to help at the drop of a hat. Sometimes restaurant staff were overly eager to the point of being a bit annoying (ie, constantly clearing plates, constantly asking if you need anything else, always hovering in the background). The laundry service was great - very reasonably priced and quick (usually same-day service). Internet was usually good but there were some slowdowns and interruptions from time to time. Great shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Unfortunately noise pollution in Dhaka is pervasive and this hotel is not immune (not sure why hotel management couldn't invest in more noise-resistant windows). My room was adjacent to another large building which appeared to be some sort of apartment complex with an outdoor public shower where men would constantly come to bathe and offer up a chorus of offensive bathroom noises (hacking, blowing noses, loud spitting, etc.) -- probably not offensive to locals but not cool for foreign guests to hear all of the time. Beds were way too hard--cannot believe that any human being would think this level of hardness is normal. Mosquitoes were bad but daily spraying of room by hotel staff seemed to improve things.

I have been here twice on extended stays. The rooms are pretty decent in size (based on what you book, you can get a large rooms as well) and importantly clean. The service is very good and friendly - the staff can be over inquisitive at times, but are full of good intent. They have a airport pick up service which is help and also the vehicles are available at a decent rate for travel around the city. It is not luxury living, but would recommend it to anyone looking for a very decent hotel within an acceptable budget range. There is construction work going on around it - so be mindful on the rooms that you book since it can become annoying at times.
