You know when you have such a great experience at a place you almost want to keep it a secret, so you can always get back into said wonderful place? That's how we felt about this hotel. But it's not fair to keep it a secret because they do a fabulous job and deserve recognition. We stayed at Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn for the very first time, for a Disney vacation, from January 23-27, 2024. I was a bit worried, because for some reason I had a hard time finding much information about this particular hotel. I think it gets overlooked for it's flashier Best Western "sibling", just a couple of buildings away. (Or maybe people ARE keeping it a secret! I get it!) But while the other hotel is indeed located RIGHT on the crosswalk into Disneyland, I actually wanted to be just OFF the crosswalk, out of the direct flow of people, and the Anaheim Inn delivered that. AND it delivered in every single way. I can't think of one negative thing about our stay! If you are looking for location, this is a minute or two from the crosswalk into Disneyland, and maybe 5-7 minutes from the park entrance. We loved the location and were back and forth into the parks daily! And didn't have to rely on a shuttle--my main goal. The property is truly immaculate. The outdoor hallways, the parking lot, all of the public areas--so clean. The front desk people were wonderful, and warm, and helpful. We were on the second of three floors, and while we usually took the stairs, there was also an elevator. Quick side note: My husband is a coffee fiend and loved the free coffee machine in the lobby that made latte's and had all sorts of choices! I think he may have had two or three of those, but there are also coffeemakers in the rooms. The room was spacious and comfortable and CLEAN. The beds were comfortable and again, spotless. The bathroom sink, with a large, convenient counter, is outside the toilet/shower room. A big plus for getting ready in the morning. The shower had a shower curtain that curved out, that gave you more room in the shower, but also provided privacy for those showering. The fan in the shower room was powerful! No steam build-up, and you could leave the door closed if you wanted. We mostly ran the fan in the A/C unit, as it was not that warm, but also used the A/C occasionally. The unit was away from the beds, even though it wasn't very noisy anyway, and was very efficient. It kept the entire room extremely comfortable, especially at night. The free breakfast! Oh my goodness, the breakfast! SO many choices, and so well done! Scrambled eggs, some with chorizo, some with cheese, the yummiest chunky seasoned potatoes, hash browns, french toast, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, pastries, fruit--I can't even list all of the goodness available at the breakfast! Plus delicious coffee with an assortment of creamers and sugar choices. And I have to say again, so immaculately CLEAN. There was usually 2-3 women in the kitchen area, greeting everyone and keeping the area constantly clean and well stocked. We appreciated them! The free breakfast alone deserves a gold star. Breakfast started at 6:30 so we were at rope drop with plenty of time. The hotel was quiet, it was just set enough off of the main crosswalk to feel a little less "busy", and we loved everything about this hotel. It will be our "forever Disney" choice, (assuming we can get back in!), and we have stayed at many different Disney locations, some in the park, and some close to the parks, like this one. I can't recommend it highly enough, and wanted to write the kind of review I was looking for when I was researching hotels. You won't be disappointed!…
