This place is awesome. The location is GREAT right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter near all the restaurants and shops. It’s a very short walk to the Metro or the Hop On Hop Off bus system. The staff was very helpful, the rooms very clean, comfortable and spacious. Being a 61 year old budget solo traveler 4900 miles from home, a hotel this nice in this location for its price is a blessing. The free breakfast was outstanding. Back to location, the hotel sits on a small street with plenty of places to eat and several convenient stores for anything you may need. All the main attractions are walkable or an easy Metro ride (station is 700 away) or a very convenient Hop On Hop Off bus ride (pickup stop is very close and you can buy a ticket at the front desk). I can not say enough good things about this hotel. If you want to stay in a unique hotel that is not a cookie cutter chain hotel this is your place. I wish I would have stayed long. Thank you Carat Boutique Hotel.

Great location - within walking distance to all the major sites. Unfortunately, the room was not overly clean - bed sheets were stained. The shower was difficult to use as it didn’t hook up to the wall. On our final morning, we ran the bath and noticed that the water coming from the tap was yellow in colour.

This hotel is in a great location as close to so many sites on the Pest side. It is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and updated. Beds were very comfortable, and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Budapest.

Shower hose too short to clip on the wall. You have to hold it all the time during shower. 4 Nights of stay and they did not change the towels We had to ask for shower gel bottles replacements And finally the most tragic …We bought from hotel reception two hop on-hop off bass tickets at 15000 each and then we discovered at a distance of 20 meters from hotel at a hop on/off sales station that offered us the same tickets at 8000 each. This is pure exploitation of hotel customers. Things should have been the other way round. That is, help your residents (that pay you a stay) to get cheaper tickets and not double the price. Generally the feeling was…”we have a centrally located hotel which will anyway fill up so who cares about details and satisfying our customer… somebody else will fill up the rooms anyway…”

This hotel is in a great central location. We took the 100E airport bus and got off at the last stop and the hotel was just a two minute walk around the corner. From the hotel you can walk to all the major attractions. The hotel was very clean and tide and good value. The breakfast was very good, good selection of foods including hot food. Love the option to have a glass of fizz as well with your breakfast. Also during the day hot and cold drinks are available for free, which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

2 min walk from the Deák Ferenc bus tram and under ground stops. We got the airport bus and got to the hotel very quickly head down the street with the Prima supermarket on the corner. We arrived early and were hoping to drop our bag’s off then go out but luckily our room was ready perfect check in.The rooms feel a little basic for 4 star but clean and a new grey carpet tea and coffee and kettle. Our room was at the back so very quiet. The breakfast had plenty to choose from the hot plates with beans and scrambled egg were hot a 7pm but slightly cooler at 9pm nice rolls and croissants fresh fruit. The staff were friendly enough the reception were great with recommendations and directions. The breakfast area once it had been cleared you could use to get free coffee, tea, water and fruit juice all day was very good, few times we sat in there with a beer or a bottle fizzy wine from the supermarket it was nice a quiet. The hotel was good value for the money.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, couldn’t fault the staff, breakfast or the hotel, perfect location for the sights and good restaurants and bars around. We were at the front so could be noisy at night but once the window was closed you couldn’t hear a thing, staff were great. If I did have a fault it would be the pillows they are huge and probably two big but this is minor in the grand scheme of things

Lovely hotel, close to St Stephen's Basilica and within easy walking of The Danube. Situated on a busy street with plenty of eateries. Close to tram and metro links. The bedrooms are comfortable and the breakfast varied and of good quality. Check-in was easy, and staff were very friendly and helpful.
