The hotel has been renovated recently. It is a short walk to the town center. Rooms come with views to the river Oder and parts of the historic city center. All is nicely furnished and clean. Very good breakfast is provided. Parking is available on the hotel grounds.

We stayed as a couple for a week while visiting friends. The room was well furnished and clean, with very comfy beds and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast offered a good selection of things to tempt us and the coffee was excellent. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location just 250M from town centre offering lots of bars and restaurants. It also has a good sized car park and excellent views over the River Oder, Poland's third longest river.

Nice quaint hotel by the side of the river , rooms of a decent standard though no balcony and no smoking (the view from the large window was good though (see attached pic) breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and they make hot food at request and it comes out really quick, the lady in the restaurant is very friendly and accomodating, only thing that lets it down is receptionist who is a little dry at times and dosent smile much, the first impressions are based on how welcome you are made when you arrive so fortunetly we checked in later when the other girl was on otherwise this review would be somewhat worse. all in all though nice hotel.

The hotel is situated on the northern tip of an island in the Oder (Odra) River. Opole is not a metropolis, but worth a brief visit. Stay at Piast Hotel. It's very close to the city centre, offers a splendid breakfast buffet and offers reasonable comfort for the price. Drawback: there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up (and down) the stairs - but there are only 3 floors.

We booked 4 rooms as we were a party of 6 and stayed for 3 nights. All the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfy. We had a room at the back of the hotel which had a lovely view of the river. The rooms at the front of the hotel were quite noisy because of the road traffic but they were still nice rooms. Ask for rooms at the back if you are booking. The breakfasts were really nice with plenty of choice and you could request a cooked breakfast if you wanted one. There were no tea making facilities in the rooms which was a shame but there are plenty of bars and cafes in the town so it was not too much of a problem. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Would recommend this hotel and would love to stay again if we return to the area.

We fell upon Hotel Piast by accident and it turned out to be a very nice hotel. Beautiful rooms, very nicely decorated and great staff. If in Opole, (who doesn't go to Opole?) stop in here. There was 24hr. security for vehicles. A nice breakfast, the staff spoke quite a bit of english and it is right on the river. Makes for a very beautiful spot. We just wish we had of had more time to visit Opole, it is a very beautiful city.
