The hotel is average not luxury at all, the pool was very shallow. Food wasn’t great but hotel is in a good location.

There was a song on every night that went like “mystery jay in the house”. Does anyone know the name of this song?

Stayed here for a party holiday with 6 lads 20-23 years old in August 2016. To start off, the holiday on a whole was amazing. Ayia Napa is brilliant. And the hotel is on the strip. Don't let the low scores of the hotel put you off coming for a party holiday here. We paid £260PP for flights, accommodation and transfers and flew with Thomas Cook, so take that into consideration, as the old adage goes 'you get what you pay for'. Here goes.

We arrived at the hotel around 11pm, checked in to the hotel (They take your passports from you, but you can get them back by just asking for them) and got taken to our room by our 18-30 Rep, Lawrie. We just wanted to put our bags down and go out, but he sat in our room blagging us for the next hour. We eventually paid up, half because we traveled off peak and wanted to be around more English people and half because we just wanted him to leave. Everyone has already said it, I read reviews saying it before I went and didn't listen but DO NOT BUY THE BANDS. It's a pure con. Nothing more. Didn't help that we never saw Lawrie again after that, even though they're meant to come to your room every day. We even missed half the events since he didn't tell us about them.

The rooms themselves were...basic. There were 6 lads in 1 small room. Two twin rooms, and the living room/kitchen that was decked out with two beds. Well, 'bed' is a strong word, one of them was a sofa that rocked from side to side like a fairground attraction and one was a bed ripped straight from HM Prison Wakefield. I was one of the ones that got one of proper beds, but I did put it through and turn it into a hammock on the first night so I can't really comment on how comfortable any of the beds were.

The kitchen wasn't really a kitchen either, even though we were self catering we had about 1 fork and 2 teaspoons and a single bowl. The kettle made a noise like a formula one car and gave you an electric shock when you touched it so we didn't really use that either. Finally, the room had air-con that you had to pay for, ours was broken and stuck on, with the small downside that it leaked fluid on your head whilst you slept. We didn't feel like paying 70EURO for the week so we opted for asbestos poisoning instead and never told anyone that it was broken.

Our room was overlooking the pool, which sounds like a great thing until you realise music starts blasting everyday at 10AM, which is the first thing you want when you're nursing a hangover. Really gets you in that holiday spirit, especially when you get back to your room from a night out around 7am. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't just a CD on repeat, heard the same grime song every 15 minutes. If you're a pure physco you'll get some relief though since there's always a load of beasties to kill every morning, had to commit mass genocide everyday to prevent the ants taking over our room. I guess if you're a Russian it's better that you're overlooking the pool anyway as they never have to use the grimey stairs. They always just jumped from their 3rd floor apartment straight into the pool, never wasting a moment of their holiday. Good lads.

Next on the list to exacerbate your headache is the staff. Starting with the maids. See, I thought maids were meant to clean up, but the Tsokkos clearly has a different definition. Every morning, they're come in, screaming at you in a language you don't understand, launch all of your predrinks from the night before (full bottles of vodka) into the bin, sweep a bit of the floor that they feel like and then leave, taking euros you've dropped or left out as a tip for all of their hard work. Cheers. There were 2 towels between 6 lads that they didn't change either, but being the hero of our group I went on a mission every morning to take towels from the maid cart whilst they were berating some other unfortunate souls.

The night porter was the next character on the list. We got invited to predrink at a girls apartment on evening and went to the night porter to ask where it was (we had the room number) and because he couldn't speak a word of the Queens (like all the other staff in this hotel) he reached across and tried to hand us the key to their room, probably thinking we were staying there and lost ours. It's a good job everyone we met on holiday was honest people because clearly anyone with intentions could've got into anyones room. Not the safest hotel if there are shady characters lurking about.

At the end of our holiday, with two beds broke, numerous glasses broken and a missing shower curtain they didn't even charge us. All in all, they just do not care at all. Great for an all lads holiday. Anything else I'd suggest staying elsewhere.

in regards to the room, it was infested with ants!!!! everywhere!!!!! in our beds, suitcases everywhere they were crawling out the walls! there was also cockroaches finding their way in!! the shower was very pathetic so have fun trying to wash your hair and body with a dribble of water!

now to club 18-30. for the love of god do not let them reel you into buying their package. they will use sales tactics to pressure you, put you on the spot, and lie about certain facts. they will take you to your room and start selling to you the minute you sit down. they want £250 from you for a week of events, and discounts and "free bars". let me tell you now they are very specific with what they say. every free bar will always be right at the end of the night, and also only half hour long. the drink they serve is pretty much squash, impossible to get drunk!!!! they lie about the entry prices in napa saying everywhere is £10+ entry, ITS NOT. so many bars and clubs are free entry and offer deals of their own. secondly 18-30's events are pure mind blowinly AWFUL. so boring, barely any people, awful music, barely any/really poor games, and EXPENSIVE. (Even though they will try tell you its mostly free, its not, this is a very clever sales tactic they will try make you fall for!!!!) unfortunatley myself and 4 other girls bought their package, went to 2 events, gave it a chance you know, and we all hated it. awful value for money. the nights we went out on our own and explored ourelves without having anyone tell us what to do and pick our times for us, were by far the best!!!!!!! make sure you do MAYHAM BAR CRAWL. it was the best night of the holiday if not our lives!!!!!!!!! was incredible!!! just wished we never bought those stupid wrist bands with 18-30. its not fair they take advantage of naive people and rip them off. as soon as our rep got our money he left STRAIGHT AWAY and we never heard from him again!!!!! they also use a "buy now or never" , they say if you dont buy now you cant ever get this package again. that just says it all really!!! they all see you as bits of money. so be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I stayed here along with 7 of my girl friends last week and feel obliged to write a review.
We arrived at the hotel Wednesday night and were taken to our rooms. Originally 9 of us booked on but one person dropped out so we requested two rooms that sleep four people. We were told that two four man rooms were unavailable so we received a four man and a six man instead and paid for under occupancy in the other room.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were put into a two man and a six man room meaning we overpaid for an extra 2 people to stay at this hotel. Upon entering the two man room there was a cockroach on the bed, in the six man the floor was flooded with water from the broke fridge, a broken shower head and the air con was covered in black mould. My back and neck were in agony after sleeping on the concrete mattress and a sack of spuds for pillows. A few days into the holiday the bathroom door to the two man room became jammed so we couldn't use the bathroom at all. One of the sheets in the bed had been folded so we couldn't see the underneath which was covered in a giant blood stain it was disgusting.

On the fifth day we went for lunch in the hotel restaurant and two of us asked for a 'chicken burger' needless to say mine was burnt and the meat was certainly not chicken. Not only had the staff picked up and stroked a skinny stray dog, the dog had been missing for a few days, coincidence? I think not... After requesting the burnt dog burger to be sent back we were told 'we get what we are given'. We went back to our room to find that the towels still hadn't been changed. When I went down to reception to get new towels I was rudely sent away by the receptionist who told me to go find the manager, after looking for the manager I went back to the receptionist asking for her to get us new towels she rudely offered me to dry off on her blouse. Apparently the hotel only changes the towels every 4 days. The towels were only changed once during our stay, the pools were minty and I don't think they have ever been cleaned.

This is in no way a 3 star hotel. Doesn't deserve any stars. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

"welcome to hell" was the way a group of 8 of us were greeted by a man outside and he was definitely correct. Most disorganised, rude staff i've ever met - not willing to help you out whatsoever and don't seem to know what is going on. The rep is also an absolute joke. Didnt get fresh bed sheets or towels the whole time we were there and the room was cleaned once. Had valuables stolen from the room also. Central enough location, decent food if you're half board but not a lot of choice. Wouldn't stay here ever again

Where do I begin with tsokkos. In no way shape or form is this a 3 star hotel..it should be starless. Don't get me wrong we came for a party holiday and with it being right by the strip and having excellent outdoor facilities the location was ideal. In the daytime there is music blasting and you can have a ball chilling by the pool if you dont fancy the trip down to nissi beach.
That is all the positives I have to say
The room was absolute categorical filth. We arrived to find other people's skid marks in the toilet..hairs in the bed and brown rings in the bath. We had to make a trip to the little shop to buy whatever bootleg bleach they were selling and attempt to clean the room ourselves. Never in my life have I seen somewhere so dirty. We had to spread about 20 towels on the floor just so we could walk on it. You feel cleaner before your shower than after! The cleaner (middle aged cypriot woman) was absolutely useless and showed up every morning to spread more dirt around the room.
We actually started begging her not to touch the room as she only made it worse. The one time the sheets were changed we found a used plaster in the bed!
When we were leaving they allowed us to check out but keep our luggage in a room behind the reception which we thought was nice of them until we found it was riddled with cockroaches! The wifi and aircon are absolute daylight robbery as well.
The guy that plays music outside Chris and the older male receptionist in the tsokkos 2 apartments were absolutely wonderful and so lovely. Apart from that the rest of the staff were useless, rude and mildly racist.
It will be a cold day in hell before I stay at tsokkos again. The only good thing is we made the most of ayia napa because we couldn't stand to be in the apartment!

Came here in the summer for a week with the girls and after reading some of the awful reviews we were all really worried about the hotel. However, it was perfectly fine. Definitely only suitable if you are planning a mad girls/lads holiday. Music plays pretty much 24/7 around the pools and its a really good atmosphere - three separate pools. The rooms are absolutely fine, nothing luxury but basic and clean. I would not stay in a dump and this was definitely fine.
Location could not be better, 10 second walk from the strip so really convinent.
Would 10000% recommend to anybody - and make sure you go to pambos pool party!

We arrived on a Sunday after reading reviews we were quite scared as to what to expect but upon checking into our room we were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't anywhere near as awful as we thought (we were in the good block, or so we thought) we were told that other blocks had no toilet seats, no locks on doors, dirty, poo smeared up walls etc.
On day 3 we returned to our room to find a lot of items missing including over half of my friends clothes, shoes and make up was also taken. We reported to reception immediately who were very quick to defend themselves. No signs of forced entry patio door locked and window locked. Whoever came in had come in using a key.
Each room has two keys of which we were only given one the spare is left hanging in reception unattended which we didn't know until after we were robbed. We contacted police who came but weren't particularly helpful.
Basically reception had either given our spare key out to someone posing as us... Or someone took it when reception was unattended or it was an inside job.
Apparently this happens a lot here... Book into a hotel don't stay here unless you want to be robbed and fobbed off!!!!!

I stayed here with 2 friends August 2011 .. PARTY,PARTY,PARTY!! If you want a hotel that is lively 24/7 with great music this is the hotel. The rooms are not great but what do u expect for the type of hotel it is - i 100% recommend to get air-conditioning cause the rooms are so hot and uncomfortable in the heat.

The pool area is wicked always buzzing and busy, loud music 24/7 u dont get sick of it cause everyone dancing and drinking. Im glad our room wasnt facing the pool as every balcony had a speaker on it we was in block 7 so was just right to still hear the music but could still get a nap in before heading out.

The hotel is 3mins walk to the strip .. perfect location!!

We didnt use the safes in hotel reception area we just padlocked our cases up so they were secure. House maids were hit and miss, we had to go reception to ask for fresh towels and toilet roll.

If your looking for a relax hotel and high standard rooms do not go here as u will NOTget this 100% ...This hotel is party 24/7 even of an evening its like being in a outdoor club with lights everywhere.

If your going here in 2012 your going to have a wicked summer!! VIVA LA FIESTAA :D :)
