These units are definitely not disabled friendly. Stairs only to and from the garage plus if no ground floor units available stairs are your only option, no lifts at all. We stayed in a 3 bed on the ground floor but there was very limited space for a wheelchair plus with only one toilet available for 4 adults and two children it was definitely not without stress. The bathroom in unit 5 was so slippery everyone vowed to stay away from it as the door to the shower did not close properly hence water was splashed all over the floor which resulted in a traumatic incident where a person was rushed to hospital (again ambos had trouble getting in and out of the unit which delayed treatment). The hospital staff and ambos were amazing and attended to the broken leg as best they could and once in plaster we were good to go. Not a pleasant experience to tear tendons around the knee and have a broken leg as an extra bonus while paying for the privilege of staying three nights. Needless to say we were very disappointed with our short break (pun not intended).

Hello, I am sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your stay. I want to make it clear that we do not advertise as being accessible for those with walking difficulties, or in wheelchairs. We have never advertised as being such a property. You had advised four days prior to your stay that you required a ground floor apartment as one of your guests had a broken ankle, to which we were able to happily move you to our 3-Bedroom Apartment on the ground level. We were not advised until your day of check-out, that you had any issues with your apartment, being that your daughter-in-law broke her leg after her shower. Once we were advised, maintenance was able to repair the screen door close issue. Had this been advised as soon as you noticed a problem, we would have had this repaired earlier. We apologise it was not seen by housekeeping staff prior to your arrival.

Excellent location, with Flynn’s beach right across the road. Don’t expect anything fancy with the rooms, however it has that lovely beach feel, and rooms surrounding the pool. The pool is never too busy which is great for kids, it’s nothing fancy but definitely value for money.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our coastal trip Brisbane to Adelaide. The accommodation was acceptable for our needs. The bed was nice and gave us a great nights sleep. The stairs from the car park to the unit were horrendous and caused us a lot of grief going up and down and all over the place, not good. The shower was very poor and was not quite up to scratch. For value it was great, not expensive. It was clean when we arrived and when we left. Overall I would rate this accommodation as good value for money but you do get what you pay for. The position was excellent and the owners/ managers were very nice people. I would recommend this accommodation for a short break or when passing through Port Macquarie. Enjoy

Nice pool for the kids, bathroom oddly configured, bed mattresses could do with an upgrade (can feel the springs although did sleep OK). Across the road from a stunning little beach. Would give it another half-point if allowed.

My wife and I arrived Saturday for a 10 day stay. They were amazed that we got here, getting through the bush fires from Sydney. All the staff have been so accommodating and friendly. If you ever want a relaxing break, then stay here. If you are a senior, there is a medical centre next door which is next door to a pharmacy. The fires are still around, but we are hoping the rest of our stay the smoke will clear and we can have the Port experience. It was unfortunate that the fires were around at our time of stay, but looking past the uncontrollable acts of nature, it would have been the perfect break.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. First impression of the complex was ok. There are no views of the beach across the road. The carpet was filthy, and the tiled floors were needing a sweep and mop. There were 2 holes in the wall near the toilet. Our apartment was not serviced daily and we were a bit annoyed that we had to pay for dishwasher liquid, shower gel, shampoo and if we wanted clean towels we were going to be charged. One small shampoo and shower gel is not enough for a family for 2 nights.

Shared a 3 bedroom apartment with 4 friends for a night. It was great value at $72 each! We had a ground floor unit. We appreciated the set up in the lounge room - we could gather around the coffee table and chat away. Yes the units have 90s decor, but they’re in a great location, have a pool and are cheap and well maintained. Friendly management helped make this a positive experience.

Was a great spot for an overnight stay. Nice and clean apartment, undercover secure parking. Checkin instructions were very clear. A nice beach over the road to have a stroll on and explore the rock pools. Would stay again no problem. There is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up a few flight of stairs.

Our family stayed here for a quick overnighter travelling from Surfers Paradise back to Geelong! Was a lovely apartment, very clean & maintained nicely! We were on level 2 so a few stairs to carry out bags up, cute balcony to sit out on & lovely gardens to look at. We enjoyed Flynn's beach for a walk especially after travelling all day. Was a perfect spot for us to stop off at. Undercover parking & clear email sent with instructions if we were to check in after hours.
