Without a doubt the best value accomodation I have ever stayed in. The hotel is well located for bodegas and all the city sites. Room was warm comfortable and quiet. I received a very warm and friendly welcome. Although I had booked a room with shared bathroom I had one of my own.

Beautiful charming hotel at the old center of the town. The service is warm and the decoration is heritage. Walking distance from the city square of Jerez. Loved the overall experience and would love to stay again.

Lovely great hotel with full of traditional Jerez vibe. I just loved the place and both the men seating in the reception - so helpful and so warm. The hotel itself is a charm in this old town. Must recommend.

After arriving at the inn, I would try to flow out my sweat but hot water does not flow out. I had an appointment for visiting after check-in immediately, so I just had to wash my legs with water and go out. After visiting, eating supper and doing other things, I returned to my room. I flowed out the water for a few minutes and finally, I could get hot water for having a bath. The location of the inn is as close to the downtown area as the old town, so there is no need to eat. As you can stay at a very economical price in a small hotel, let's try "Cheap lodging" once in a while.

I just want to be very factual. My wife and I are seasoned travelers. I usually do reviews on places we stay. I have only done one other really poor review however this is my 2nd. We booked this hotel 6 weeks before arrival and booked it because it has excellent good reviews so our experience here shocked us. We arrived at check in time looking forward to our stay in Jerez and this typical Andalusian hotel. Upon entering our hotel room we hit a extremely strong smell of old cigarette smoke that was embedded in everything in the room. It was so strong it took your breath away. We found an ashtray in the room indicating it was a smoking room. My wife and I are life long non smokers. I immediately went back to the front desk to ask for a different non smoking room. I was told the hotel was booked solid due to the “Jerez Flamenco Festival” and that was the only room available. I went to explain this to my wife and we felt we just could not tolerate the smell however I checked for other rooms online and indeed due the festival hotels were booked up. We again went to the front desk to plead our case for another room but again we were refused and only offered a refund and an “out the door”. The front desk staff indicated they would really clean the room. This consisted of taking down the drapes over the French doors and putting up what appeared to be the same drapes. They then put an old bedspread over the existing bedding. What this did for the foul smell was nothing. Why would they expect it to do anything else. We stayed as we had nowhere else to go. We watched others book n after us and since I booked 6 weeks prior I have no knowledge why we given this room. We stayed for our time booked as we were in Jerez to see Flamenco and the sights of the city. We had to sleep with the French doors open due to the smoke stench which was difficult as the street noise was very loud. Our throats and sinuses hurt each morning. I felt like I had a bad cold each day. We stayed out of the room as long as possible each day. The staff here were not friendly. Not unfriendly either just apathetic. These are just the facts. We have moved onto a lovely guesthouse in Arcos. We love it here. As a reminder of the Nova Centro in Jerez we are left with smokey smelling baggage and clothes & we don’t smoke. You will read the other positive reviews and I truly wish ours could be one. I think if we had been given a non smoking room it could have been. Now ask yourself. Do you want to gamble your time in Jerez in getting our room. If not then I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere. Nova Centro could have done better but chose not to. Their choice but now you have one too. Choose wisely and avoid this hotel. I hope my second negative review is my last.

Nice very friendly hotel in a very convenient location. Could do with some modernising but fine for a holiday spent mostly exploring the area. Jerez is well placed for visiting Seville, Cadiz, Arcos, and Sanlucar as well as Jerez itself.

Stayed here for a week. Very good central location. Lovely quaint place. Rooms clean and comfortable. Quite a bit of road traffic noise from the uneven cobbled road outside. Once this was blocked out then better for sleeping. Reasonably priced.

Ideal location within walking distance of all places of interest and with some good eating places nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable and much appreciated heating was available as the weather was unseasonably cold at times. The staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. All in all a hotel full of character.

I looked for an alternative to staying in Cadiz (which seems a tourist trap) and chose Jerez de la Frontera. By commuter train the town is a thirty minute ride from the Cadiz ramparts. By chance the hotel turns out to be on the same street as famous sherry distilleries Harvey's and Lustau. Who knew that the english term "sherry" is a transliteration of the town name “Jerez”? Bristol Cream has been a favourite of mine since I would sneak a sip as a kid. So Nova Centro may be only a two star hotel but I had all I needed including a spacious room with high ceilings, balcony, functional bathroom, nice old time fittings. Wifi and tv were great. If arriving from rail station avoid complex side streets by taking an immediate right. Keep rail tracks close by on your right until intersection of Calle Arcos, then turn left. Cadiz did not impress as anticipated. This made up for it.
