Very charming and welcoming place. The rooms are large and very clean. Breakfasts were fabulous. There are a few very nice outdoor seating areas with fire pits so you can sit out and enjoy your coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. The owner knows the area well and has great recommendations for places to visit.

Spent our Anniversary weekend here with two other couples. Bob was a gracious host who gave many great winery recommendations. Please was extremely sanitary with respect to Provincial guidelines. We relaxed before and after our wine tours at the house. It felt like home. Breakfast was over the top the following morning. Already looking to back there soon!

Staying at Bob’s place was perfect for our weekend away. Not too many places offer 2 beds for friends, as most rooms are only one Queen or King, but the Miller’s House has a great room with two large beds. Everything was perfect. Bob is a great host and we enjoyed chatting with him and eating his homemade breakfasts. We always started with fresh fruit and baking (biscuits, corn muffins, blueberry and lemon loaf) and then had a second course of either eggs and bacon or a ricotta and strawberry crêpe. The place is lovingly cared for and very clean and we were able to come and go without worry. Bob is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for meals and places to visit. We have pretty high standards when we choose places to stay and at the Miller’s House we were comfortable and relaxed. We went for a great walk on the county side roads each morning and it was quiet and peaceful with lovely views. Thanks, Bob, we will be back!

What a great bed and breakfast! Bob was a wonderful host. He greeted us at the door when we arrived, gave us a tour of our accommodations and made us feel right at home. Our second-floor room was super clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with antique furnishings, and offered everything we needed, even a wireless tablet in case we didn't bring our own. We shared lively conversations with Bob and the other guests while we sat down to enjoy the superb daily two-course breakfast (which was hearty enough that we didn't get hungry for lunch until well into the afternoon!). Pre-breakfast coffee allowed us to settle in to the morning at a leisurely pace and sit in front of the warming wood stove/fireplace. The bed and breakfast was an easy 10-minute drive southwest of Picton, located on the main road (County Rd 10), so within easy access to everything PEC has to offer, yet in a surprisingly quiet part of the County with less vehicle traffic than I had anticipated. Thanks, Bob, for a great stay!

My hubby and I were looking for a fall getaway after the Thanksgiving crowds and started looking for B&B's in PEC. After realizing many were booked up we stumbled across the Miller House and thankfully they had an availability for us. What a charmingly restored home this is! From the moment we arrived we were greeted in the driveway by Bob who not only carried in our luggage but provided an umbrella so we wouldn't get wet! It was a cool, rainy day and a wood burning stove awaited us warmly as we checked in. Bob quickly introduced us to our room and the house. It was welcoming and comfortable whether we lounged in our room or around the stove in some very comfy chairs. We immediately felt like we belonged. The room was more than comfortable and clean. Bob was the ultimate host, offering local information on pretty well anything we needed to know, even calling in dinner reservations for us. Breakfasts were different for each day of our 3-day stay....local organic foods, fresh fruit homemade bread, biscuits and jams! You definitely won't need a lunch after this breakfast! At the end of our stay we got a friendly send off with a hug. Just like family! Thanks Bob! We'll be back again!

We had a wonderful couple of days at the Miller's House this past weekend, a charming, historic property, with plenty of character, yet renovated to today’s comfortable standards. Close to all PEC amenities, and only a short drive to town of Picton, we had easy access, coming and going throughout the day. There was plenty of five star dining, and fun entertainment to be had within a few minutes of this gem of a place. We rented the suite, complete with living room, fireplace, separate bedroom, and a nicely renovated bathroom. Very spacious and comfortable. We even entertained family in our spacious suite on one of the afternoons. The bed and breakfast is located on picturesque grounds, with plenty of outdoor seating, decks, gardens, and a pretty view from the banks of the Mill Pond. We enjoyed daytime touring of the areas winery's, hiking, and exploring the trails and a nearby bird sanctuary. We never wanted for a thing. Bob, the owner, is a terrific host, with just the right amount of presence to feel looked after, and yet still allows privacy and space for guests. He creates to-die-for gourmet breakfasts, which we thoroughly enjoyed and – lively conversation with other guests – and Bob! He is very accommodating. Finding the Miller House was a great addition to our holiday.

We just had a reunion with our friends at The Miller's House B & B. Our host Bob Cowan was very congenial and immediately made us feel very welcome in his charming home. The property was beautiful filled with gardens and stately Black Locust trees. After exploring PEC during the day it was nice to sit by the outdoor fireplace and chat. The breakfasts were appetizing and beautifully plated. Everything from the muffins, scones, jam, bread, crepes etc. were homemade and delicious. Beds were very comfortable. Bob was very familiar with PEC and gave us ideas of where to visit and the best restaurants to dine. We were never disappointed. I highly recommend the Miller's House B & B with super host Bob Cowan. We just finished a 3 night stay at The Miller's House B&B. The location, room & breakfasts were all great. More importantly Bob Cowan is the consummate BnB host - affable & conversational without being in our face. Loaded with excellent recommendations for dining options, wineries & local places to visit. We have stayed at dozens of BnBs over the past 30+ years in Canada, the USA, and the UK. This was one of the best. Thanks Bob - D & R

There’s not much I can add that the other reviews haven’t already covered. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Millers House to anyone looking for a nice quiet spot in Milford close to Picton and Bloomfield. The property has a variety of well manicured outdoor seating areas in both sun and shade, which are ideal for relaxing. The room itself was nice with a private bathroom and walk-in shower, guest wifi, and plenty of space. It had a rustic design which matched the old wooden floors and rest of the house. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding and a step above most of our other B&B experiences. They may be reason alone to stay here. The owner, Bob, is an excellent host - at once making you feel at home while also ensuring you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.
