Super comfy and fun place to stay here. We stayed for two nights and it was great. The bed was one of the best we had on our holiday and the room had a nice laid out bathroom. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the side of the lake and very close to the main train station. We cooked dinner both nights in the room and they had a very good set up for it. All staff in the hotel were very friendly and check in and out was a breeze. Also if you're wanting a drink close by, I'd recommend the Grand Duke Pub.

This hotel needs revamping! The room itself was OK, and clean. Getting in the door to the room required some effort, as the door was stuck- so much so that the architrave around the inside of the door was coming away from the wall. The carpet in hallways is worn and should be replaced, and the interiors are tired. Desk staff were helpful though, and courteous when dealing with a very difficult guest (who arrived just before us). The location is fairly close to the lake, but no views from the rooms.

I am not the kind of person to usually write a review and I am generally an easy-going person, but I felt compelled to write a review this time. I have done a lot of solo travelling as a 20-something-year-old female. Overall, I think this place is okay but they would do better to be more honest in their advertising so as to avoid broken expectations. Pros: - A good location close to the main train station (Gare Cornavin) and walking distance to good shops and restaurants. - A kitchenette. - You are given a free public transport pass. - The breakfast service provides a very European, interesting breakfast which is a cool experience as a foreigner and includes pastries, cheeses, coffee, fruit, etc. Cons: - My door keys stopped working several times during my stay, which I've never experienced before at a hotel. It was a bit annoying having to go up and down from the 6th floor for this multiple times so the staff could reset my keys. - When I arrived, my air conditioning (heater and cooler) would not switch on at all. Instead, I was given an old portable fan to use for my stay. The alternative option I was given was opening a window for ventilation, which did not feel safe as my room was near the building scaffolding and someone could climb up from the street. - There is no chain or deadbolt for the room doors, which I prefer to use at night as a solo female traveller. - The room cleanliness was okay but the curtains had a splattering of what maybe looked like tomato sauce at the bottom. The balcony was quite dirty. - They could do with more pillows on the bed to make it more cosy! - The wifi isn't super fast, often it wouldn't load a webpage in a reasonable time. I often ended up switching to my mobile phone data. Things to be aware of: - If you are booking a room with a balcony, this will be on the 6th floor but your room will have its own spiral staircase that you have to climb up and carry your bag up. It is not a good idea to book this kind of room if you have difficulties with frailty/ being nimble/ carrying the full weight of your bags. I am a young person who does strength training twice a week and I felt that I had to be very mindful of my step each time I went up and down because it is narrow and steep. - The building is very old, and everything looks a bit scuffed and dated (not like the photos online). - They are renovating the outside of the building so there is scaffolding across the front of the building. If you have a room with a balcony, you may get surprised by workmen close by on the roof. As a solo female traveller, this prompted me to feel concerned about my safety so I used my balcony less often than I would have liked. This is because a few times while sitting on my balcony, I realised there was a workman a few metres away looking over. - Your room is not cleaned every day unless if you ask for the service which incurs an additional fee. - The hotel is close to the red light district. I didn't experience any issues in regard to this but some folks would appreciate being aware of that in advance. Overall, I wasn't left feeling super relaxed or confident in the service as a solo female traveller. I probably wouldn't stay here again. My advice to the business is to be more upfront with their advertising, or address the issues quickly so that the reality matches the advertising. I thought I was paying for a comfortable safe hotel room with air conditioning; the reality appeared to be different.

We cannot speak highly enough of this place. Enjoyed a five night stay for my birthday, and everything was perfect. The hotel gave me a very generous gift, and the apartment was impeccable - superb view from the balcony (worth paying more for the view). The lovely young woman on Reception gave us some excellent tourist advice. My only minor gripe is that we weren't emailed the 'tourist pass' for public transport the day before, as was promised, and that meant that we incurred some costs when we arrived. Other than that, this place is wonderfully located, has top notch service, and is one of those hotels that we would book again in a heartbeat if we were visiting.

Hotel is located centrally and close to a train station. It’s an apart hotel so there’s a decent size kitchenette Room is quite big with a small desk. Reception staff are very friendly The bed mattress is super hard and uncomfortable. Stayed two night here and both nights didn’t have a good night sleep. It’s like sleeping on the floor. Room is boiling hot. Aircon doesn’t work and I kept the window opened all the time (it opens just a bit) - a wall heater cannot be turned down/off and I woke up sweaty both nights. I asked a receptionist for help but there was no improvement. I know it’s December but room temperature is way too high to be comfortable Breakfast is disappointing and unhealthy. It’s a tray delivered to your room with different breads, jam, tiny amount of spreadable cheese. Very old school and kind of cute but not a light healthy breakfast I’d like to have in a 4 star expensive hotel

I stay at room 102 and 106 this time . Different room coz I stay different time. Review from Singaporean who stay 23-25 Aug 22 and 1 -4 Sep 22. First time stay this aparthotel. I love the spacious room . Individual toilet with bath tub. Another individual room for the well equipped kitchen with microwave. Water cooker jar, bigger than normal fridge with freezer and the various plates, bowls, scissor, spatula etc. easy to make something simple for eating or drinking . They do not provide toothbrush and daily cleaning but you can approach them to change out the floormat , towels, etc in the morning . No issue at all. Bed wise was comfortable. Pillow abit small though . Haha. Have a small table with 2 chair for meals . Have a dressing table with chair in the room . The rooms and some doors do show sign of age and wear and tear but no issue as I not staying long term alao and it still works wells It’s feels homely . The reception personnel was super friendly . I love the night time reception guys. Super nice . Hotel is near to the lake and many eateries . Also near to red light district of Geneva . But no worries as the girls will not disturb you much unless you alone (guy) walking . But I walk alone many times also no issue . For the price , location , the facilities . This aparthotel is not to be missed . Try it .

Adagio Mont-Blanc is excellently located between the train station and the lake. The building is (sorry!🫣) really ugly, but luckily on the inside not that bad. I read s previous customer’s comment about the ongoing renovation from October, and the renovation is still going on, with the non-existing breakfast room and exposed pipes in the corridors. During our 4-night stay we didn’t see or hear any workmen do I guess they aren’t in a hurry.,. We were kindly given by the smiling staff a room on the 7th floor with a balcony, which had a great view of the lake and the Alps. That made our stay very pleasant. We had booked this hotel because it had a kitchenette, knowing that Geneva is s really expensive city, we cooked our meals in the apartment. And that worked fine! The utensils in the kitchenette were sufficient. The air conditioning wasn’t very efficient so on hot days the apartment might get too warm. It was great to have the balcony door open all night, though that meant noise from the square in front of the hotel where some people were having fun during nights. The bed was comfy and the bathroom functional though small. The room had a Nespresso machine and the capsules could only be bought at the reception for 1Fr per piece. I would give this ApartHotel 3.5 stars.

Between trainstation and the towncenter it is hard to beat the location. And from the balconies on the upper floor (7) the view is splendid. However, my room was very run down and deserved urgently a renovation.

We stayed in a duplex, and this is smaller than expected and looks dirty. The lift is very small and can fit only 2 persons. It is a 5-minute walk to the tram and train stations. There was nearby store but very expensive. We were given a welcome drink voucher but only valid for 1 guest.
