Hotel Sant'Antonin is a brand new Boutique hotel in the Venice historical centre less than 10min. Walk from St. Mark's square. A charming nobiliar house of the 16th century with fine original furniture and inserts. Most of it's 14 rooms have pretty views, expecially those overlooking the hotel's private sculpture garden: one of the biggest and most remarcable in Venice.

Lovely hotel and location. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We were fortunate to have booked the large room (16) with a balcony overlooking the river. The hotel decor was typically Venetian with dark wood, gold, reds and painted ceilings. My only fault would be their lack of understanding on providing a vegan option for their guests. I had emailed in advance asking if they could provide a vegan breakfast. On arrival the lady said ‘we have here you require a vegan breakfast, we have arranged that for you’ - so next morning I went into the breakfast room to very confused breakfast staff. They just pointed to the fruit when I asked for ‘vegano’ - there wasn’t any vegan pastries or anything else. They only offered soya milk when I asked. I was then offered a plate of sliced tomatoes for breakfast. That was their ‘vegan option’. I would have just rather been told they can’t offer it and to have refunded us our breakfast which we had paid for within the cost of the hotel. The staff member on duty came to our room and apologised saying they were confused with what I expected for a vegan breakfast. All I ask is that if there is pastries with milk in, then also offer vegan pasties (without dairy). It’s very easy if you’re in hospitality to reattach before your guest arrives to provide a vegan pastry. Apart from that, the hotel was lovely and quiet and we had very comfortable beds. The Asian guy at the desk was extremely helpful especially when we needed tickets back to the airport. Thank you to that guy!

Room Tip: You’ll have to ask if they have vegan options before you go into each restaurant as they don’t...

Good morning and thank you for your review. We are sorry that we did not understand your request, because I was sure that what we offer as a vegan breakfast would have been enough: yogurt and soy milk, fruit salad, fresh fruit, bread with vegetable flour, gluten-free, green salad, tomatoes, cereals, muestli, biscuits, Nutella, butter... but I actually hadn't calculated that vegan biscuits or brioches could also be useful, I will certainly make sure to buy them as soon as possible. The problem is that in Venice there are no shops for vegans and being a small hotel, with few vegan requests, placing an order from our suppliers means purchasing a large quantity of products, which would expire after a short while and would be thrown into the garbage. However, I thank you again for letting us know what you requested, it will certainly serve as a lesson for future vegan guests! All the best regards Elena

What a hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. Checking in was so easy. Rooms were delightful. So big, very high ceilings. Our room looked over the gardens. Loved the shutters that you had to close instead of curtains. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of it. Location was great for all of the sightseeing.

I booked a standard room direct on the website, where there are more deals, and to my delight when I arrived, I was upgraded to their junior suite room! The staff were all lovely and helpful and the hotel was in the perfect location if you want to spend time in the east like the Giardini or Arsenale and in the centre like San Marco square. The breakfast wasn't so exciting for 10 euro and I found myself going out for food in the morning/afternoon instead. I would also recommend bringing a sleep mask if you get disturbed by light easily.

As for the light from the windows in the morning, we have shutters, which you will find open during the day obviously, but you can close them in the evening so as not to wake up in the light of early morning We hope to host you again in our home in the near future ELena

Small hotel at a great location, close to everything but not crowded with tourists. We got some great tips from Rocco at the reception for museums and restaurants, that made our trip even more enjoyable. The shady large garden at the back of the hotel is a true gem.

Lovely 4 night stay at here at Easter. The reception staff were really friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Wonderful location. Our first night was spent in their outside courtyard room just before the front entrance on the right. Due to recent alta mare, there was quite a strong smell of damp in there - but the staff quickly moved us in the morning to a lovely room overlooking the garden. The garden is amazing - keep an eye out for the terrapins in the pond. Grazie mille.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful, historic hotel from the 5th April to the 8th. We had the ‘hidden room’,no 14. The room had everything you needed for a stay from mini bar, safe, iron, shower, comfortable bed and a garden view. The breakfast has something for all tastes. The hotel garden is great in the early evening to enjoy a drink from the hotel bar before heading out to one of the surrounding restaurants. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Did what it said on the tin! Fantastic quiet location. 6 minutes walk to St Marks Square and 8 minutes to Rialto Bridge. Clean, comfortable and spacious superior room with kettle and mini bar/fridge. The WiFi was rather erratic. The breakfast (an extra €15pp) was average.
