The apartment is located in a quaint neighborhood in Bellagio with a good supermarket very close. Roberto and Emilia take great care to make sure you have everything you need. They also recommend the nice places to visit and the best restaurants. A short scenic stroll in the morning takes you to the ferry. The bright and airy apartment is lovely and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a nice welcome basket with teas, coffee, juice and biscuits. The mattress is comfortable and the bedroom is spacious, with nice white linens and comfortable pillows. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a big mirror with good lighting. The place is very clean. Unfortunately, my husband unexpectedly ended up in the hospital and Roberto and Emilia went over and beyond to help us, call the hospital, change our rental car, even helped me return the car that I couldn’t drive and made sure I made it safely to the hospital . You would never get this type of hospitality at a hotel or a B&B, it was unique to Roberto and Emilia. Our stay was perfect except for the hospital visit. We hope to be back in the future!

We are sorry to write this much needed and appreciated review so late. The reason is because we have just returned to Australia after a long holiday which took us around the world. We stayed at Relais Ai Campi from 12 August to 15 August 2018. We could not have found a better place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Bellagio. Our gracious hosts, Emilia and Roberto were most welcoming and provided us with a beautiful, functional apartment for the days we stayed in Bellagio. Emilia went beyond the call of duty to make our short stay happy and enjoyable. The Apartment was tidy, clean and well provided with everything needed for us to enjoy our holiday. There is a supermarket very close and it was well furnished with everything we needed including a good supply of great Italian wines. The city centre is a pleasant walk which we enjoyed undertaking on a daily basis. Bellagio is, of course a jewel with a beautiful lake for which the city is famous. The Restaurants in Bellagio are very good and medium range, especially those which made excellent Pizzas. We were in Bellagio when we heard about the tragic event which took place in Genoa with the collapse of the Morandi Bridge. Emilie and Roberto showed us great concern and solicitude especially because we had to take the train from Bellagio to Genoa via Milan. Roberto drove us to the train station in Bellagio for a nominal fee. We were able to take the train from Milan directly to Genoa without any detours which was a great solace to us as we were concerned about the consequences of the bridge collapse. We recommend Relai Ai Campi for those contemplating to make a booking. We were very pleased with our experience.

Stayed 5 nights. Emilia is extremely helpful and kind. The apartment is well located, even if a little out of the centre the walk is not too much. Spacious with all you need although basic all is functional. The grocery store is just 50m from the apartment. Really felt like we were living in the village. At the tourist info office they have leaflets with walks around the area.

What a beautiful building. We booked the 2 apartments for our party of 4 adults and one child. The house is within a complex of several other houses, overlooking a central cobbled courtyard. There are many little alley ways, basements, gardens, bridges and balconies within view. From the upstairs apartment we had a breathtaking view of the mountains. Both the apartments were spotless and roomy. The kitchenettes were supplied with the basics but in Italy, you only have breakfast in your room! The beds were super comfy and large. Emilia, the host was so helpful. Our flight to Milan landed at 2300 hours and so we got a train to Saronno and were hoping to catch a bus to Como and then onto Bellagio, but at that time of night there was no service. We checked on a taxi price from the airport and were quoted 200 Euro. We thought this was expensive, so got the train to Saronno. There we were stranded. We contacted Emilia and she arranged for a taxi to pick us up there and bring us to the apartments. This cost us 150 Euro, so we should have just got the taxi from the airport! Bellagio itself is beautiful, but be prepared to do a lot of walking. Its about a 1km walk to the harbour and town centre. There are several lovely shops and restaurants. There is a bus service, but we didn't see any taxis to get back home (with 2 bad backs and a seven year old, we would have loved a taxi on a few occasions). The supermarket is about 50 metres away from the apartment and stocks everything you need, Emilia supplies washing up liquid, tea towels, dish cloths and hand soap as well as plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Going home, we got the ferry to Como - the fast one- then a taxi to the airport. Total cost for 5 of us, 200 Euro. Emilia's husband, Roberto, gave us a lift down to the ferry and we stored our luggage there, for free, til the 5pm ferry arrived, The only downside to the apartments was that there was no air conditioning, and Italy in August is hot! We had a couple of fantastic thunder storms too. We went to Bellagio for a wedding that was held at the Belvedere Hotel. There is a pool here, and as long as you buy from the bar, its for free, and they supply the towels too. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. I would definitely return to Relais Ai Campi. Booking was easy, and you pay cash on arrival. Be aware that there is a City Tax to be added on your arrival which is about 12 Euros a day.

What a perfect place to stay for our 2 night visit to Bellagio. The upstairs apartment was very comfortable and beautifully clean and simply furnished Italian style. It was about 15 minute downhill to walk into Bellagio with many choices of restaurants and things to do. Excellent value for money and a lot cheaper than the other options in Bellagio. Emilia is very friendly and helpful. No parking on site but various options not too far away and there is a well stocked supermarket very close by. It was a little difficult to find as the sign is just off the road, so easier to spot when walking rather than driving.

We had a lovely stay at the Relais Campi in Belaggio. The hostess Emelia was very helpful and gave us lots of tips about places and restaurants to visit. The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. A small but well equipped kitchen, good size bathroom with a washing machine, and spacious living room and bedroom. The only thing I could comment on is that the floors could have done with a better clean prior to new arrival of guests. The apartment is about a 25 minutes walk to the centre of Belaggio.

This is more like a homestay than a hotel, the owners live upstairs and are really helpful. It is cheap accomodation compared to the alternatives in Bellagio, though it is a bit outside town. Friendly (italian) explanations along the way helped us find the place, it is about 20 minutes walking from the ferry/boat harbour. Nice and clean, and there is a supermarket just around the corner. We got nice suggestions and all the help we needed during our stay - and also a free ride to the boat when we left (probably not standard:).

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owners are very sweet and helpful if you need anything just ask! The apartment has a full kitchen with large bedroom and living room area. The supermarket is 1/2 block down the street,... so very convenient. Good to have a car in any of the places here...of course unless you are willing to pay much more on the waterfront. We went daily to the Bellagio Sporting Club for great food and free WiFi. We loved Bellagio so much we stayed here extra days. We stayed in Italy over a month traveling and would stay here again!

With this apartment it's all about what you're looking for. If you're looking for a flatscreen TV, quick access to downtown and a large shower, it's not for you. BUT, as i wasn't looking for any of those things, it was perfect. I loved that it was away from the center of town and tourists, but that the walk was definitely doable. Keep in mind though that there is a walk, often times with minimal side walks. It was also incredibly convenient to have the supermarket so near. We went there nearly every day and they had some amazing cheeses, meats and breads on offer at the counter for great prices. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by the apartment and I truly enjoyed our stay. Emilie was also quite kind. I would describe the apartment as basic. My greatest disappointment was the stove.

I can't deny it was a good value for Bellagio prices, but the location is not that great, too far from everything, unless you have a car. It's not a walking distance from the centre. It was very difficult to find in the first place, they charge an extra for cleaning depending on how many days, there is no parking, they say they have but the truth is that they tell you where to park in the street, it's not completely bad but I felt like they were not being honest saying free parking on the hotel details. I believe for families staying for some time like a week or even couples must be good and also if you have a car as well as it's fully equipped and it's a good size apartment. All seemed very clean. The owners were really nice and helpful and friendly. No internet :(
