We were on a Citytrip in Rome, and were looking for a cheap hotel with breakfast. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful and we were so delighted by their friendliness! Public transport was just one block away (only bus!). Piazza Mazzini was a 5 minute walk with a couple of restaurants and since this area is not touristic, it gave a nice Italian touch! The twin-room was standard and had (for us) a cute Italian interior, and had a view on the garden behind the building. We had a bath which was nice for a 3 star hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean but nothing exceptional. Since it was very hot in the summer period in Rome (38 degrees+) the air conditioning did a very good job at keeping the room cool. The breakfast was just simple in a small room. Coffee, tea, pastries, yoghurt and bread. Cappuccino on order. All in all: for the low price we payed per night, a great hotel!

My surprise was the charge for car parking. I booked this hotel with the premises of free car parking, as advertised. When I showed the advertisement to the concierge, I was told that the ad was originated from Trip Advosor. I am curious to know why the false ad. I have copy of the ad. Please, contact me at 647-296-2619.

We booked two rooms at this hotel in February for our family trip to Italy. But when my father went into hospice we had to reschedule our whole trip. So, we called to re-book for later in the summer and they refused. They wouldn't even so much as change our hotel reservations to a later date; we weren't asking to cancel or get our money back. All we wanted was to change the date of our reservation because we needed to be with family during this time. Our airline, Delta, was so accommodating and gave us credit for our flights and let us change our dates. The service at this hotel is sickening!!! Given the circumstances their treatment and lack of sympathy was heartless. They just took our money!! Absolute worst customer service EVER!! We just wanted to re-book for a later date after my fathers funeral and they wouldn't even give us the time of day!! I am disgusted by the way we were treated, and especially with all my family was going through! If you want awful customer service, heartless hotel managers, this is the hotel for you!!! If I could give it a zero I would.

My first words go to the staff: thank you for all your hard work in making the stay memorable! From the various receptionists, to the waiters at breakfast to the cleaning staff. The hotel itself is nothing special, the room was sufficient, with an out of date and stile furniture. The condition was acceptable. The dimension was above average (lots of space) so was the toilette. It had all necessary confourts. As far as the location: excelent, 15 min away from metro, 5 from bus, 20 min from vatican walking. Plus the location is out of the turistic area, filled with local restourants close by (this means that food quality is hight and prices local). Only points in which I would have something to suggest are: Breakfast, the choice was limited, but I had much worse (short: average) Wify: it was extreemely slow (easy to connect to, excellent coverage)

This hotel is in a quieter part of Rome that was chosen for it's proximity to the Stadio Olympico (20 mins walk). It is also not too far from the city center (30-40 mins walk) which can be achieved via the river side. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel has all you need and would expect. The only flaws are minor: no shower gel, the bathroom shower curtain smelt strange and he only English speaking channels are news channels. Still, watching volleyball on Rai Sport was just as fun in Italian! The room and bathroom were very clean but they could have done with some decor upgrading. The room was warm and the safe and mini bar were available. The hotel benefits from having a nice bar too. Breakfast was continental buffet style with a wide enough selection for all tastes. In all, this is a very comfortable hotel which suited our needs for location and somewhere to sleep. I would go again.

My mother, brother and I went here all the Way from Denmark. My room was very mouldy and had a strong smell of mould, which caused me to have a headache. This was our first trip together since my mother became very ill, and is currently using a wheel chair. She double checked the hotel through booking.com to insure that it was handicap-friendly, but as soon as she sat down on the toilet, the seat fell off, but luckily we were there to catch her. She could’nt get around in the room. I can’t believe that the management thinks this is okay! Fortunately the staff was friendly and helped us out. I will attach a picture of the food (egg), and also the filthy room. This hotel is outdated and way below the standard that booking.com expresses.

The standard double size room was pretty small, but acceptable enough for a 2 night stay for exploring the main first time tourist attractions (i.e. Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, etc). The room was clean, but dated and a bit tattered. There is no in-room coffee. Location is close to Metro which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Taxi ride to the Vatican was 9 euro early morning without traffic. At breakfast, ask for a cappuccino to make up for the standard uninteresting cold choices. Our primary disappointment with this hotel was the decreased level of hospitality and efficiency from the staff. The staff attitude seemed abrupt and impatient when we asked for information about transportation options, directions and restaurant locations. We ended up finding our way to the Metro by asking people on the street. The staff did not follow through with a wake up call that we needed to get up in time to make it to the Vatican for a 6:30am tour that we had already paid for. We did get up in time, thanks to our iPhone alarm, but when we went downstairs to have the desk call us a taxi, there was no one there. We had to wait another 10 minutes for someone to show up to the desk that we were told was staffed 24/7. If we ever return, we would look for other options.

This hotel is rather average. It is okay as a place to sleep if you are spending a few days exploring Rome. However do not expect too much from the hotel. The location of the hotel is good. It is an ok starting point for visiting the various sights of Rome. The breakfast was rather poor and the coffee can not be recommended. In this regard I recommend you order a cappucino. The hotel could use renovation and maybe a re-think of the whole concept. In the bathroom I noticed that opened hotel shampoo from a previous guest had been left in the shower. There was a mess-up with the passports where the person in the reception mistook me for another guest from another country and wanted to give me his passport.

This hotel is situated in an elegant area called Prati. It is 20min away from Piazza di Popolo on foot .There is a metro station just 5 minutes away and there is also a bus station next to the hotel where you can go easily as far away as Trastevere b. The staff is very helpful and kind. The room we stayed un was always tidy and clean. The breakfast buffet had a variety of pastries, cereals, juices and it was satisfactory. We couldn't ask anything more for the money we paid. I'd definately recommend it!
