The desk clerk was rude as soon as we arrived and stated that we were incorrect and could not have reservation. He actually argued until i gave him the e-mail confirmation. No apologies, just an oh okay. I reserved 4 rooms for the family they were all supposed to be doubles with queen size beds, what we were able to get were two doubles and two singles, so they downgraded two of the rooms and charged the same price. If it is your mistake you should provide some effort to make it right. No attempt to make it right no attempt at an apology. They had a school group in so the restaurant was private for the group, so after traveling for almost 24 hours we had get back in the cars and go find a restaurant. I booked these rooms about two weeks before our trip, this information was not on the website. One of our rooms had an extreme chemical odor they had to open a window. Do not go to this place.

A very nice place, in a quiet area, with a profesional crew! Confortable and clean room, bath and accesories! A little bit far of central Rome If you’re not afraid of a 35 minute bus travel, you should try!

My son and his friends joined a tour called contiki and two days ago they checked into the hotel. For 3 of them they were given one queen bed!!!!! Come on how did they expect three big guys to fit in it. Worst hotel ever😤

Response from Pasquale D, Direttore at Park Hotel Roma Cassia
Responded Jan 31, 2018
Dear Guest , I'm really disappointed to read this review , I would like to explain , that , for Contiki Groups , and for all groups , in this hotel , we receive a rooming list , after that , we manage all the rooms , then , at checkin , before to give all keys to guests , tour manager , check about the room number , and , at the end , we assign the room , normally , rooms are prepared as request of tour manager and guests , anyway , in case of mistake , the reception is here . If I sleep in hotel and I don't found a bed in my rooms , I ask for it... Please check with your son , if he follow the instructions of his tour manager , maybe he did not listen to tour manager.. Best Regards PARK HOTEL ROMA CASSIA

The front desk attendant was very rude during check in. Every time I seemed to walk by the front desk the attendant was getting into a scuffle with a guest. I was sick during my stay in the hotel and there was really no way to get anything other than pizza delivered to the hotel. Supposedly there was a small grocery store next door but it was closed both days I was there. The bathroom was large and having a bath tub was nice. The beds were very old and firm, many other people in my travel group (Contiki) didn't sleep well. Breakfast was very basic (pastry, cheese, yogurt, orange drink.) Hotel is extremely dated and while the cleaning staff seemed nice I would not recommend staying at again.

Rather large hotel, a bit remote, simple, but well equipped, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and very clean. Nice breakfast. Friendly service, available bar, 24/24 concierge, free parking... and good value for money.

I have a two way review for this hotel I'm afraid. We stayed here for two nights while on our contiki trip. The good points were: Beautiful looking hotel from the front. There is a outdoor seating area with tables and chairs and a room with a bar and relaxing atmosphere. We were offered a laundry service which was a bit expensive, but on a contiki trip it is heaven to have clean clothes! Our room was really nice, we loved the bathroom and had a lot of space to move about. I'm sure we slept very well too. The low points were: The location is a bit out of town, so we had a very expensive taxi ride back one night. Unfortunately the breakfast was not good, and I had had a rough time in Rome finding a meal I enjoyed, so I went to bed hungry, then to find the breakfast was bad was not helping. There were also no close restaurants near by. There was a tiny supermarket across the road (driveway) but it was almost empty so I wasn't too lucky there either. So I did like the hotel, but I just found it hard with no food to keep me going.

Arrived at this hotel as part of a contiki tour. Room is elegant and Roma styled. Bathroom is beautiful but shower over bath was old and in need of an update ( chunks missing from tub) Recommend for discount accomodation :) This hotel is Clean and comfy, but avoid down stairs bar as very pricy!

The room is very basic but good enough for a good night sleep. Breakfast is average. The location is kinda out of town so it's quite place suitable for family & business. Also you can always find an Uber or you can take a 30min stroll to the nearest train station. Wifi is free but the in-room connections is sketchy. Go to the lobby if you want stable wifi signal.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights while in Rome and it was pretty dismal. For such a large hotel you would think they would be better equip to deal with guests but unfortunately as with all of our accommodation in Italy that was not the case. The room felt dingy and dirty, and even though we were on the 3rd floor we could hear all of the music and noise from the 'club' (we stayed on a Sunday and Monday night) they have downstairs until late into the evening. Breakfast was a continental buffet in a seperate building, but as you walked down you could already smell the burnt eggs (on BOTH days, so not like it was a once off mistake) and they still served them. It was the worst breakfast we had over our entire 12 day trip through Europe. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel unless you had absolutely no other choice.
