We stayed here with friends in 2 rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We loved that they are central to the trains, hop on/ hop off buses and if you don’t want those then you can walk everywhere. Good restaurants surround that are affordable. Just remember every hotel charges extra on arrival for city tax. It’s an extra €3 per person per night here.

I only spent few nights there, I wished, I could have stayed longer. The rooms were gorgeous. Very neat and tidy, and the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, ready to give advice and solve queries. The B&B was located in the central part of Rome, right next to the underground station. A warm welcome and excellent service received made my stay really special. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Centrally located, spacious, clean hotel, great for short stay. First disadvantage, there is no sign outside of this hotel. Spent an hour wondering around and trying to find the entrance in the middle of the night. Secondly, "breakfast" is ridiculous, two croissant and a bit of jam. However everything else is alright in this hotel.

My wife, two daughters and I checked in to this hotel on Friday the 6 October 2017. The hotel is impossible to find as it has no sign outside, only a name tag outside an office block in which it is situated. Yes, the hotel is situated in an office block. It shares the floor with a few businesses. We would not have found it were it not for the fact that the manager was walking by as we passed the entrance for the second time. He asked us if we were looking for the New Inn and led us inside and checked us in. The rooms are small and as it is in an office block the walls are made of prefab walls. When another guest talks or closes their door, it sounds as if they are in the room with you. The beds are unacceptable. The main double bed had two concave grooves, from use. My daughter pulled her covers and found hair in her bed. She refused to sleep under the bed covers that night. I also found what looked like pubic hair on the toilet seat. I have never been one to be fussy but this speaks volumes about whether the place was cleaned properly or if the beds were just made without replacing the linen and if the bathrooms were properly cleaned. At about 2am that morning my wife and I who were sleeping on the main bed started itching. Bed bugs. At 5 am, I left the room and walked to about 7 hotels and found two that had accommodation available for the next two nights. I spent a night in each. They were 4 star hotels with the New Inn being rated a 3 star. The difference in quality between the supposed 3 star New Inn and the 4 star hotels I booked in is so dramatic, that one needs to ask who paid whom how much to give what is essentially an unhygienic no star in my books a 3 star rating. It costed me a fortune to walk into a hotel and take a quad room, but I do not regret it because the New Inn would have spoiled my entire holiday. Other factors: 1. Breakfast is croissants that was already in our room when we checked in and a kettle and tea and coffee. I did not trust using the kettle. 2. The manager leaves for the night at 8 pm and returns at 8am. You are given keys to get in and out. The manger lives close by. 3. The location is good in that it is close to the train station and hop on bus, 4. The manager was very pleasant and helpful when we checked in. I would under no circumstances recommend this hotel. Pay a bit more and stay at one if the nearby 4 stars like the Best Western. This place is not worth it. I am now engaged in trying to get my money back. Their argument is that I should have raised it with them instead of just leaving as they did not have an opportunity to fix the problem. Yes, fix poor hygiene and bed bugs.

We just came back from a stay here and we're very impressed with the accommodation. Good points - staff friendly and welcoming, fantastic location, room was clean, bed comfortable, room had a fridge, powerful shower, air con, very quiet and strong free Wifi. Not as great - the guy who greeted us on the first day was very friendly but didn't speak English so we couldn't ask questions, but the lady at check out did, so depends who you get. Lovely and helpful though. Not obvious to find as it's on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no signs outside. You do get breakfast included but this was a coffee and croissant in a cafe around the corner. It's was really great but unfortunately I'm gluten intolerant so it wasn't much of an option for me. My husband enjoyed it though! If you are looking for hotel luxury and want to make the most of your hotel then this isn't it, but if you are happy with a great location, comfortable room and excellent value for money then this is it. As a keen traveler I would stay again.

I visited the hotel in April together with four friends. Positive: -Great location, it took about 2-3 minutes to walk to Termini (main station). -The room was clean. The ceiling was high. Good size. -The breakfast was served at a restaurant 2-3 minutes away from the hotel. We liked this arrangement. -The hotel was quiet. -The staff was friendly. Negative: -The hotel was small, so not that much service. -The single beds were not that comfortable. -The view from the window was not pleasureable.

The building is old, the room is dark and toilet is very small, they don't have in-house breakfast instead they provide you with coupons for a cafe nearby, the neighborhood is very noisy you cannot open the window and the AC is useless. Service is ok and rooms are cleaned daily. If you are just looking for a place to stay then fine but if you want a good memorable stay with your family the place is really not suitable better pay a bit more and get a proper hotel with facilities and comfort.

We spent 3 nights in New Inn in august. If you were in Rome, you know that in august the weather is horrible, very hot outside, you cannot survive without air conditioner in your room. First day we get a room without functional air conditioner. OK, they switched the room for us, but the second room has problem with the bathroom, which smelled so bad, we cannot remain there not for 1 second. Only if we left the bathroom door open and the windows too... Furthermore, the breakfast was very poor, if you are used to eat in the morning, you should buy something to eat.. I will not return here...

In the bottom line, the place is reccomended. Super great location, clean big room - very good value for the money. Still it has some cons: 1. doesn't feel like hotel - more like room in an apartment. 2. Service as can be expected from this kind of an accomodation - minimal but still exists. 3. the maintenance is "so so". 4. blanket covers were missing 5. no hooks to hang clothes Overall it was a good place to stay for 8 nights. I would give 3.5 grade of 5 if I could (the system has only integers). If you don't expect much - You can live with the cons and gain a decent place in the middle of Rome. Room tip: 7 nights in a inner room were quiet and plesent. one night in a front room - very hard to sleep.

Initially was supposed stay in another hotel call Magic Inn, but the owner take us (walking) to this one New Inn. The guy was polite and give us a discount because we move from one place to another. Closer of the train station. And he gave us one card each to present in a coffee-shop next to the hotel for the breakfast (just a coffee/tea and a croissant/pastry). The location is good. Free wi-fi. The room was average for the price, and we didn't have any problem. Everything works good. In the end, and for the price that we pay, and with this location, was good. If you plan staying one or two nights is a good option.
