Roman Holidays of the Vatican Planet Chain is a comfortable B&B which consist of two brand new structures both situated in the historical Prati area and it is only a few steps away from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter Cathedral. In a few minutes, it is possible to reach some of the principal historical sites as the Vatican Museums.
Wonderful hostel, super clean, comfortable beds, spacious rooms with good size lockers and excellent AC!! Rooms are cleaned daily and they’re in a very convenient location for everything in Rome, Ciprian and Andrea are such lovely people and will go out of their way to accommodate all your needs, I have stayed here on two occasions and when coming back to Rome I will stay here again 100% - highly recommend!

Had to cancel our holiday with Roman Holidays due to FOC advice. They will not respond to any correspondence. Happy for them to contact my wife or myself about this. In the meantime do not trust this company.

This property cancelled our booking just two days before our arrival on 30th December being one of the most busy periods during the year. Travelling with a five month old baby is not the easiest task and thanks to Roman holidays they managed to make it even more difficult. They came up with the excuse of invalid credit card which definetly was not the case.

This hotel suited us fine. It wasn't fancy but we barely spent any time in our room as there was so much to see and do. The location was great for us, close to the Vatican but quite a walk to the colosseum though we were more than happy to clock up the miles each day while seeing the sights. The hotel has lots of supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops nearby. There is no real reception and the breakfast is at a cafe 2 blocks away. You get a coffee and a bun for breakfast from a nice chatty man. We had no problem with this as our 'starter breakfast!' There was a good shower and the room was cleaned each day. The WiFi didn't work for us but no big deal. Also maybe arrange with the host when you are to arrive as we had to wait outside for 40mins waiting for him to come and get us keys but it was fine. If you stay here get the SIT bus from the airport as it is more convenient and drops you off 10mins walk away.…

Me and my girlfriend were to stay at Roman Holidays in May 2018. We booked via Booking.com a couple of months in front and everything seemed well. After a while we received a message that the creditcard details did not work (payment was not handled by Booking.com). We tried different creditcard but received the same message a while later. This happened twice more and while trying to contact the hotel, not once someone was available to help us. Just one and a half week before our flight to Rome, our reservation was cancelled by the hotel, reason being that the credit card(s) did not work. Even with help from Booking.com we had no succes with contacting the hotel. Luckily Booking.com helped us find a new place to stay, and miraculously our credit card details worked directly, very same details we used for Roman Holidays. Also nice detail, while talking to Booking.com they told us that our room at Roman Holidays was not available anymore a couple of hours after the cancellation... So, if you are looking for a hotel that respects your reservation, do NOT go to Roman Holidays!…

I had to book urgently a room in Rome for one night , this was the perfect choice for the price and quality (I had to book same day as arrival ). I was treated very nicely , the room was clean and nice . Just the only thing that was not good is that there was not a lot of lights , and I needed them for studying . One of the lights next to the bed did not work , and Wi Fi worked very bad ..the location is great since you are couple minutes of walking from the Vatican , downstairs there is a mini market if you need to buy some snack or drinks. I would come back again for an emergence situation that occurred to me , was a nice place to stay .

I booked 3 nites stay with the hotel via booking.com. The price was very good as i booked during promotion. However, i recently received an email to cancel my bookings. I checked with booking.com they cite its because of problems with my credit card which was not true as i have used the same card with other hotels bookings with no problem. Only when i tried to rebook the hotel than i realised the hotel cancelled my booking and sold off at a higher price. Never book with this hotel again. Better avoid it to prevent wasting time and cost searching again.

This was a holiday planned for some years by my wife. All the hotels we visited were good, no complaints. The city was very well kept. The attraction were very well advertised and you could do anything you wanted, when you wanted. The tour guides minds of information were end less. Well worth take guided tours. If not you would miss so much.

Apartment in building made up of 4 rooms each with own bathroom. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Room and bathroom not very big but adequate. Position was great for visiting the Vatican City but was a distance from other Sights. However, area was good, lots of Restaurants, Cafes, Shops nearby etc. Would stay here again if coming to Rome for short stay.

The room itself is very small, and though it is 10 minute walk to Vatican City, it is located at quite a distance from most other sites, such as the Colosseum and the Pantheon. My experience with this lodging owner was also unpleasant. I originally booked five days here. Since my schedule changed, I ended up arriving a day late. Knowing the free-modification deadline had passed, I was willing to pay the first night that I'd booked. However, the owner told me that he was going to charge an extra 90€ as he needed to hire someone to check us in. FYI, we were arriving at 3pm...which lodging reception isn't at work at that time? Even it was the case, I don't believe that someone needs to be payed 90€ to check someone in. As I aruged with him about the fee, he implied that if I didn't accept term, he could charge me 280€ no show fee. So he took advantage of my situation: I either had to comply and pay an extra 90€, or pay for the 280€ now show fee plus the fee for a new accommodation. Quite a mercenary, wasn't he? I complied, out of no better choices. But, I was never given a receipt, though I specifically asked. What's more, the owner still marked me as a no-show on Bookings.com (the website I used to book Roman Holidays) so that I couldn't leave a review, which is why I have to write about it on TripAdvisor instead.…
